Superb property in south goa
We were group of 22 people . We had booked the club wing rooms. The rooms are amazing with extra spacious bathrooms. The balcony is over looking the pool. The property has two pool along with bar. I would highly recommend the spa.The staff is very helpful . We got a late check out with out even asking for one. Special thanks to Mr Desouza for taking care of our group. Overall we had a very good and memorable holiday at Alila Diwa Goa.More
Family Reunion made memorable...
Had a family reunion with four rooms and 11 guest staying 3 nights. We were given a complimentary upgrade to the Diwa wing. It made the stay so much more pleasurable. The staff in this wing were so attentive - no request was too big or small and all delivered with a smile. Would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a leisurely, resort style stay in Goa.More

Excellent in many ways but checkout let this resort down.
I stayed at this resort for two nights with my sister during the monsoon. We were upgraded to a club suite which was a lovely surprise at check in. The pool is fantastic and we enjoyed the pool bar. We ate at Spice Lounge for both of the evenings and the food and service was fantastic. Unfortunately the factor that let Alila down was our checkout experience. A taxi company had previously quoted us an amount for our journey from Alila to our next destination and we compared this against the price from Alila. Alila quoted us almost triple the price so we of course went with our first option. The staff at the resort then refused to allow the taxi to enter the complex to collect us and sat and watched as me and my sister struggled to carry our numerous cases to the road.More
Home Away From Home
Alila Diwa has got to be the BEST hotel in South Goa. From the moment you walk in - you really don't want to leave ! The rooms are huge (almost 500 sq ft) and a massive infinity pool with a poolside bar adjoining it - ensures that you don't ever want to get out of the pool. Great for Sunday brunches. The RM - Mr Kamaljit Singh is a gem of a person. The front desk staff are always smiling. The chefs go out of their way to check on the guests whilst making their rounds and always happy to whip up a custom dish even if it's not on the menu. Great for families and groups of friends. Highly recommended for weddings (as a wedding planner, I tend to do at least 1 wedding a year at this hotel). It is aptly positioned about 20 mins from Goa Airport as well. I personally love room W123 and W125 in the West Wing as they give easy access to the pool, and breakfast area. The Family Suites and Diwa Suite is in the South Wing. Once you go to Alila - you'll never want to stay at another hotel in Goa.More
Nice property, however needs to improve on service levels big time! Especially at the Vivo restaurant and checkout. The aircon at the Vivo is seldom working and as a result it is too hot during meals. The staff is chatting away in a corner rather than paying attention to guests needs.More
