Silver Sands Holiday Village

This hotel gives you a big choice of restaurants and a location right by Candolim’s golden-sand beach.

This hotel’s in a prime spot, just a two-minute walk from Candolim’s golden-sand beach. It’s much the same distance to the bars, restaurants and beach shacks along Beach Road.

There's a good-sized rectangular pool here. Dining’s a big deal here, too, with three restaurants including a great Indian à la carte and a place that serves up dishes from around the world.

Short Summer Vacation

The hotel is very well located near the beach and has direct access to it. Currently short staffed due probably due to off season but staff and there GM is very helpful. Service is slow from restaurant. Value for MoneyMore

silver sands - value for money

I stayed at silver sands holiday village candolim for 2 days. It is very close to the beach...less than a couple of minutes...so u save both time and money...rooms are spacious for a family of 3, with a good sit out area to relax and sip your chilled beer...the reception area has comfortable couches , book shelf and WiFi so u can just sit read or browse enjoying the breeze from the sea...the hotel pool is descent and clean enough to take a dip. The restaurant Chicago at the hotel serves a decent veg and non veg food. The best part is the taxi stand is just opposite to the hotel so you need not worry about reaching the airport to take your early morning or late night flightMore

Very Basic

Don't know where to start? Good Points: Clean enough bedroom. Very central. Nice and friendly staff. Close to beach. Not so good points: totally basic. No storage space in room. Room Door Lock was a hasp and large padlock? Notices around pool no glass but staff were happily serving drink and leaving glasses and glass bottles. I got two weeks in this hotel as part of a super Thomsons package at an unbelievable price, unfortunately if I had been paying for it separatey it would not have been my first choice.More

3rd visit

Small friendly hotel, breakfast is only tea, toast and coffee, fresh fruit would have been nice. We have had bungalows and superior rooms, the bungalows are very small, the superior rooms are large. Have just booked to go back again I think that says it all.More
