Just footsteps from the beach and within walking distance of Calangute's beach bars and restaurants, the Colonia Santa Maria cottages make for a great holiday base.
The Colonia Santa Maria doles out cottages just a stone’s skim away from Baga Beach and within walking distance of Calangute.
Portuguese-Indian style reigns supreme at the Colonia Santa Marina, so whitewashed walls, terracotta roofs and patterned tiles are teamed with jewel-bright colours.

A clean, safe and friendly local hotel
We stayed for 6 nights with interconnecting ground floor rooms next to the pool and very close to the facilities. Staff are so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much for them. Wifi free in the main areas. UK breakfast was reasonable. Lunch and evening meals both UK and local cuisine were available, all good and reasonably priced (I loved the local food Bombay Potatoes and Roti is a great lunch and chicken skewers or sausage and chips for the kids). We had a number of meals there with friends and family from other hotels coming to join us. No tummy problems with any of our group ! You can be in the beach in 4 mins from reception. The beach has an array of good value restaurants and bars all with free sun beds. A great place to watch sunset. If we are back Goa we'll be back to this family friendly hotel. More
Dates of stay- 13-17April 2017 The hotel staff, pool and restaurant are good. The staff is super polite, smiling and helping. At first, we felt the rooms were too small and average. However, the stay was pleasant and we eventually started liking it. The room cleaning service is good. You get all the amenities. The live music on Thursday night was BEAUTIFUL. There was karaoke and you could even dance. Perfect environment for a group of friends or a couple. The location is absolutely perfect, 50-100m walk to baga beach; so you can go easily for morning and late night walks at the beach. the property is big and well maintained. there are a lot of guards at all times and you feel safe. I will recommend CSM to anyone who visits goa.More

We have been going to Goa for the past 15 years and CSM is my favourite place to stay. It's close to the beach and off the main road so it's quiet but not far from the hustle and bustle. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. But as every other hotels I've stayed in goa, they lack coat hangers.haha. Over all I have never had a bad experience and can't wait to go back.More
Our first trip to India and how lucky we are to have chosen this magnificent place to stay! We chose a suite as for some reason when booking through Travelrepublic this option was the same price as a standard room. Other than the room, furniture and decore being a bit tired everything was perfect. Comfy huge bed, fridge with 2 bottles of water replaced daily, lovely shower and western toilets! Sheets and towels were change daily. All the staff at this hotel work like Trojans. They seem to work 24/7 all with smiling faces and as with all Goan people they seem genuinely happy to see you and to please you. The food here is incredible, absolutely no need to eat anywhere else. Although if you do want go out out! Then a 2 minute stroll out of the Hotel will lead you to Fire and Ice whose curries, steaks and cocktails are stunning as are the wonderful staff who work here too! Or if you fancy a slightly longer walk, turn right at bottom of CSM Road and then next parallel Road back to beach, you will find Relish more beautiful curries to devour! Location is perfect too, a walk to the beach or opposite direction to plenty of shops, restaurants or bars. We didn't see another hotel that could match this place!More
