For things to do during the day, apart from admire the scenic splendour of Olu Deniz and Patara, there's Butterfly Valley - a limestone canyon that's home to several species of butterflies, the deserted Greek village of Kayakoy and the ancient Lycian rock tombs at Fethiye. Saklikent Gorge is also worth a visit.
