The Liberty Hotels Asena Beach has a location that's worth writing home about. The beach and town centre are a few minutes' walk away, and the Blue Lagoon's in easy reach, too. You've also got an impressive pool scene and a pair of restaurants.
The Asena Beach offers a hat-trick of plus points. Firstly, it’s only a five-minute walk from the main beach and the bars and restaurants in the centre of Olu Deniz. Plus, it’s just a few minutes more to Turkey’s famous Blue Lagoon.
Secondly, the hotel’s swimming scene is top-class. There are 2 main pools – the first is huge and offers views over Turkey’s mountainside scenery with your swim. The second is an adults-only option that has its own bar, plus there's a special pool for little ones, so you won’t be disturbed when they’re splashing about.
Finally, in the evenings, you can take your pick from the Garden Restaurant, where you can eat in the open-air, or Captain Hook’s à la carte, which specialises in locally-caught seafood. The hotel puts on regular entertainment, too, with belly dancers, snake charmers and fire-eaters appearing on the line-up.
I love this hotel and it is proberly the best i have stayed in, the people here are lovely (denis the menace and his crew) i enjoyed staying here and i recommend it. There is a buffet but the food is the same, however there is very good entertainment and the atmosphere at the pool bar i think is the best.More
Amazing time, amazing staff, especially 'Woowoo' (fahri), Jimmy, Ramazan and Denis the menace and his crew, all very caring and attentive, entertainment is amazing and everyone is so friendly, will be coming back next year, going to miss everyone a lot!More
Fun, friendly and beautiful.
Liberty Olu Deniz is a beautifully placed and well run hotel. From the day we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The staff are so friendly and caring and we were particularly fond of WooWoo Fahri, Jimmy and the rest of the pool bar team. Beware of the cocktails, they are lethal!
Lovely Ramazan in the Garden restaurant who always has a smile and time for a chat and nothing was too much trouble, the manager Denis who is also very friendly and great with his team and customers.
We were unlucky with the weather as wild winds and rain followed us from the UK, there was not a great deal to do for the teenagers and I think a games room would have helped keep them amused during poor weather.
The evening entertainment was varied and entertaining! In the day the team organised games such as water polo and darts, weather permitting.
Our room was very basic and a bit small for 3 ladies trying to get ready but it was cleaned daily and very comfortable.
The food was good, we had the buffet deal for 4 nights, I probably wouldn't have more than that as it did get a bit "sameish". We enjoyed the breakfasts, especially the fresh pancakes!
We will definitely come back next year and book into the stunning superior rooms which
we had a look at before leaving.
Cost wise, you can do this on a tight budget easily if you need to.More
I stayed at this hotel 16th oct for a week with my husband and 7 year old son.
We booked b&b and upgraded to evening meal for 4 nights whilst there- much cheaper!
The room was a bit small but not to the point of it being a problem, and a comfortable double and full size single beds was worth it! The rooms were clean to a excellent standard daily. There's a mini fridge with payable snacks and drinks.
The pool area is clean with plenty of beds (it was a quiet week) with a reasonably priced and standard drinks and food available.
There was nightly entertainment starting at 10pm, some nights were better than others :)
There was no daytime games etc which would have been welcomed by my son.
Location was fabulous and perfect for the bars and shops and the beach!
Massive downside was that there is only tea available with breakfast until a certain time. We usually had breakfast at 9.30 and I was told that tea had finished! I eventually bought and took my own...coffee was available...weird!
Overall nice, clean hotel and fair price, I would recommend!
This is my fourth year running here at the Liberty Hotel which as a person that likes to try new places speaks volumes for the quality of the hotel/resort and the warm welcome received from all members of the staff. There is so much to do here in the resort and the trips are well organised and well priced. The boat trips are a great day out for around £5 including lunch. With so much to do, great food and a beautiful location it is no wonder why people keep coming back.
I would like to especially thank Denis The Menace and all his team for making another fantastic holiday.
