We stayed at this.hotel in July last year as a family. The only disappointment was the lack of view from the family room however there was no problem with the room. Everything else about the hotel was excellent. Lovely hotel, large pool, helpful staff, clean rooms and a great location. My daughter and I have booked to stay at the hotel at the beginning of July so expect our twin room will have a better view. Looking forward to our holiday and staying at the hotel again.More
I love Turkey!
We stayed at the Montebello for our family holiday August 2016 - 4 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 9months. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready for a quick chat about your day. The hotel was clean and the rooms are a comfortable size. Unfortunately because of the trouble that happened in Istanbul just before we went the hotel wasn't at full capacity and they had to shut the upstairs restaurant. This was such a shame as my son had been the year before and said how lovely the restaurant was overlooking the pool at night and the food had been deliciously varied. Having said that, i had no problem with the food as i like Turkish cuisine but you always get the one person who can't find what they want (rocket lettuce) yes...really!! It was embarrassing to say the least. But the chef made sure it was there the following day. The beach around the Lagoon is lovely and clean and safe. We saw countless turtles this year too...beautiful! If you like Shisha make sure you go down the front to the Shisha doctor...past the Belcekiz Beach Hotel...they have a woodland area with leather bean bags and coloured lights dotted about...truly lovely and chilled in the evening. I'll be back :-)More
Loved every minute!
I'd visited Olu Deniz two years previous and enjoyed my 7-night stay with the family, so decided to take my girlfriend, so she could experience Olu Deniz, on an 11-night stay to the Montebello Resort. We both absolutely loved our stay, the staff are very attentive and polite, always working so hard even in that heat! The room was just what we expected, modern and spacious with a great little balcony overlooking the pool and the gardens. The food was of a very good standard, the breakfast and lunch buffet was on the ground floor by the pool and the dinner buffet was upstairs on the first floor in an open air restaurant. We paid for a couple of excursions through the hotel, the one we enjoyed the most was the quad biking through the mountains and countryside. You really don't need to do All-Inclusive in Olu Deniz as there are so many great restaurants around the area. Our favourite being Buzz Bar right on the sea front. This place is amazing! I don't know anybody who has anything negative to say about this place, they really know what they're doing here. We spent a day at Blue Lagoon which was nice. We also visited the markets in Hisonaru which was an experience in itself but it was a good half day out. Don't hesitate to book the montebello, great hotel in a fantastic location just at the top of the Olu Deniz strip with the great bars and restaurants.More
