The Hotel Montebello puts you in a great spot for exploring Olu Deniz. Back at base, you’ve got pools, waterslides, and a helping of bars.
This hotel is in a great location if you like getting out and about. It’s 10 minutes’ walk from the bars and restaurants in Olu Deniz, as well as the sand-and-shingle beach. Hisaronu, meanwhile, is a 5-minute taxi ride away.
Inside, everything’s modern and up to date. Bedrooms are stylish, with splashes of teal brightening up neutral colour schemes. The rest of the place is bright and airy, while recessed LED lighting changes the mood after dark.
The pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, overlooked by the mountains the serene and tranquil pool will give you the chance to catch up on some well-deserved relaxation.
These smart, stylish twin rooms are a great base for your holiday. There's air-conditioning and Wi-Fi* available in your room plus you'll also have satellite or cable TV and a safety deposit box*. There's outside space too - you can make use of the balcony if required.
This modern double room has been styled simply but effectively with accents of colour. There's air-conditioning and Wi-Fi* provided in your room plus satellite or cable TV and a safety deposit box*. There's outside space provided by a balcony. Just so you - know this room sleeps 3 people with a child bed in the bedroom.
This was our second holiday to the Montebello and we were not disappointed! We heard people complaining about the food (lack of choice) but I am a fussy eater and I had lovely meals breakfast, lunch and dinner and those who were complaining rarely had an empty plate, even went up for seconds!
There were a few issues during our stay (involving other people, not us!) Which were dealt with by management in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure the happy continuity of other guests.
Charlie was originally the entertainment, but alas he struggled and was swiftly replaced by Rifi and Niko, who have the whole entertainment vibe, down pat!
Both the restaurant and bar staff were attentive and accommodating, which made our holiday more relaxing.
Our housekeeper made the room spotless daily, making sure we had an ample supply of towels.
We cannot fault the cleanliness of the hotel throughout the complex including the pool and garden areas, also maintained by diligent staff.
Fred, the photographer is always on hand. We had some fantastic pictures taken to replace the ones he had taken 2 years ago and again, were not disappointed.
In a nutshell, the hotel deserves more stars than it is currently merited, as the facilities are great. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and have a great ability of remembering you if you are a returning guest, and greet new guests like they were old friends!
Our room was 1207 and stayed from 3rd to 17th June.
We are already planning holiday there for next year, same time, same place!

What a great hotel! We loved every minute of our stay. Really friendly and canât do enough for you, thanks Guys!More
A bit of a disappointment I'm sorry to say
We love Oludeniz and have stayed at a few resorts in this area over the years, the Montebello is a lovely hotel and is in a lovely location with some super views.
As for the management itâs a let-down by making cut backs for his new project down the road.
Food was very poor a lot of dishes were the same for breakfast, lunch and evening meals, meat dishes were just ok if you could find one of the two that you liked, as for the fish I think it was served for two days running just in a different ways, one night it looked like just fish heads in the serving tray, so you will find yourself eating a lot of chips, salad and bread, personally I would say breakfast was the best. The desserts were really good with quite a good choice.
I'm sorry to say that my hubby got a very upset tummy the last four days and he has been to doctors twice since being home.
The room we were in was really nice, but quite a lot of noise some nights because of the way it is built. The grounds were kept lovey and cleaned every night and the staff worked their butts off and were always ready to help and serve you.
As for cheeky Charlie the entertainments guy he did try bless him but it was pretty rubbish and the same thing most days, so we went out for a walk most evenings. And found entertainment in the bars down in Oludeniz or up in Hisaronu.
The Turkish bathes and massage staff will pester you to use the one at the hotel, but I will say they do charge top price as you can get the same down the road for a lot less.
Iâm sorry to say........
We wouldnât stay at the Montebello again.More
Im half Greek Cypriot so after many years of resisting a holiday in Turkey I was finally convinced by my sister in law (who has been to Olu Deniz numerous times) We stayed at the Montebello Resort Hotel, a first for all of us. Arriving at 11pm, we were heartily greeted and shown to our rooms. Ours was a superior and it was in excellent order (bar a slightly sagging towel rail) Very clean and with excellent views across to the pool, plus we looked down onto a water feature. A balcony plus air con offered excellent temp control. A fridge plus TV with numerous English channels (who needs tv?) By us was a small pool with flume, so great for us to have a late/early swim with no one around.
We stayed all inclusive and i have tos ay the food was excellent, nothing there I would not eat. Of course on an all inclusive holiday you will see the 'left overs' coming back as something else, but it was a marvellous choice. If you wanted 'english' food there was a Turkish version available, but we have an eclectic range of palettes and we enjoyed it all, breakfast , lunch and dinner. Plus mid morning late breakfast and lunch (Have only ever found this on cruise ships) Then there was afternoon tea and cakes plus....ice cream at 3.30. And of course all drinks included, here there is a limit to the range they offer, but the local Efes pilsner is easily drinkable, as are the cocktails, though be careful about the Gin Vodka drinks as the bar staff pour HUGE 'shots'.
Staff were caring, professional and friendly, our house keeper was superb, and I have to give a major shout out to the excellent waiting staff in the restaurant and bar, especially Murat who kept us entertained through out his (and all staffs~) long working hours.
Swimming pool and hotel facilities were excellent.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, as such we are going back asap!!!
PS The hotel is exceptionally close to the beach, shops and other restaurants in teh small village of Olu Deniz.
pps: wifi very poor in rooms, a bit better within the communal areas, pool etcMore
