The Hotel Montebello puts you in a great spot for exploring Olu Deniz. Back at base, you’ve got pools, waterslides, and a helping of bars.
This hotel is in a great location if you like getting out and about. It’s 10 minutes’ walk from the bars and restaurants in Olu Deniz, as well as the sand-and-shingle beach. Hisaronu, meanwhile, is a 5-minute taxi ride away.
Inside, everything’s modern and up to date. Bedrooms are stylish, with splashes of teal brightening up neutral colour schemes. The rest of the place is bright and airy, while recessed LED lighting changes the mood after dark.
The pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, overlooked by the mountains the serene and tranquil pool will give you the chance to catch up on some well-deserved relaxation.
We arrived on the 22nd September at around 10pm to be told that there was a 'technical problem' and that they didn't have a room for us. The staff on the reception were not bothered and seemed to be amused when I questioned why we're not being accommodated in the hotel that we had booked! They called a car and we were transferred to the montebello beach. The room they gave us was a 'dungeon' room 402 and it was awful. The bathroom was dirty and mouldy, I didn't even want to get in the bed. As you can imagine we weren't the only couple that got bumped for that evening, at least 3 other couples were moved out for the night. The next morning after very little sleep we went back to the montebello resort and were told to have breakfast and they would get a room ready for us. After 2 hours we were finally able to get into our room. The hotel itself is nice, but as you can imaging our experience put a dampener on our holiday. My husband and myself are not fussy eaters but we struggled most nights to find something that wasn't chips or cold pasta we ended up eating out on quite a few occasions. The pool area is nice though didn't spend much time round it and the location is good. It will not put us off going to Olu Deniz but we will not return to this hotel.More
What a lovely holiday we have had, 2 weeks from 4th October. We were 2 couples staying in rooms 3404 and 3406, both lovely. The food was delicious, one vegetarian and one coeliac, always fresh vegetables and good choices. The waiters are so nice, thank you especially to Muslum who is so friendly and seemed to steer the others in the right direction, he is an excellent waiter. Also thank you to Tugrul, Ahmet, and Serkan who were always happy to help and kept us laughing. Okan is the best barman and serves the best drinks, I think he is off to college now, so good luck. The wine is not the best, we found putting ice in the white wine helps, our friend who drinks red wine ended up on gin and lemonade, which went down well. The cleaning staff are lovely and friendly. The beds are soooo comfy, the aircon worked a treat. Just a short walk down to town, we frequented Harry's bar, which had a nice atmosphere, also many bars and restaurants to try. Would definitely go back to Montebello. Thank you everyone. Just one small point, there are many managers walking around, if only they were as friendly as the staff!!! They don't even smile. also they could put a more suitable person on reception, with better people skills possibly. But overall, the rest of the staff made up for that. We didn't stay in the hotel bar at night as it was very smokey, a lot of smokers!More
Excellent value for money
We booked this holiday through Travel Republic (who I would highly recommend and would book with again!) and travelled with another couple. I had reviewed a few hotels in the area, based on trip advisor reviews and this one came out on top for value for money. Excellent position at the back of the Olu Deniz resort, but at the same time only a short walk from the strip and beach.
Rooms are basic but of an adequate size and cleaned daily by the lovely maids. Food is very good, with a varied choice to suit every taste. There is a buffet restaurant serving breakfast and lunch on the ground floor and then a buffet restaurant on the first floor serving dinner in the evening.
The pool area is very cramped and you need to get your towels on beds by 9 to get a good position! However with only a short walk to the beach, we always opted for the latter.
Evening entertainment is ok, but there is always plenty going on outside of the resort at local bars, if you want to venture out.
Overall an excellent value basic all inclusive resort. One thing to remember is to take pool / beach towels, these are not supplied at the hotel, as they are at some other all inclusive hotels.
Had a great week and would return, Olu Deniz is a lovely resort, there are some great bars and restaurants outside of the hotel, HELP bar was a favourite! Great atmosphere, never ending choice of cocktails, nice food and lovely friendly staff!
If you are thinking of a boat trip, it will be well worth a walk along the beach to check them out first before booking. Hiring a speedboat for 4 hours is an excellent option to explore the different coves at your own pace.
Just one more thing to add, PARAGLIDING is an absolute must do, an amazing experience for the young and old!!More

Ideal for groups and families!
This hotel is run by friendly, hardworking and efficient staff who always ensured guests enjoyed their stay. The hotel is spotless, clean and modern boasting slides for kids, (and adults!) 2 large restaurants, bar area and is in super close proximity to the beach. The few downsides are more niggles than problems - the pool area is very small for the size of the hotel and you often felt very close to those on the beds next to you. The evening entertainment was often cancelled so it was either a botched quiz or nothing, which is fine if you want to head in to the small town or just enjoy drinks, but we quite enjoyed the nights that did have entertainment. The hall areas outside the rooms are really big and open meaning it's very echoey and can be noisy at night with people going back to their rooms, equally the doors were very noisy so the bangs of opening and closing echoed loudly. The food was very good although it did become quite samey after a week. Other than that, we (a group of 3 girls of 25) thoroughly enjoyed a week of sunbathing - even in October - and making the most of this lovely hotel. We didn't feel unsafe at any time and were more than comfortable exploring the local area. Would really recommend to all.More
