The Hotel Montebello puts you in a great spot for exploring Olu Deniz. Back at base, you’ve got pools, waterslides, and a helping of bars.
This hotel is in a great location if you like getting out and about. It’s 10 minutes’ walk from the bars and restaurants in Olu Deniz, as well as the sand-and-shingle beach. Hisaronu, meanwhile, is a 5-minute taxi ride away.
Inside, everything’s modern and up to date. Bedrooms are stylish, with splashes of teal brightening up neutral colour schemes. The rest of the place is bright and airy, while recessed LED lighting changes the mood after dark.
The pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, overlooked by the mountains the serene and tranquil pool will give you the chance to catch up on some well-deserved relaxation.
This modern double room has been styled simply but effectively with accents of colour. There's air-conditioning and Wi-Fi* provided in your room plus satellite or cable TV and a safety deposit box*. There's outside space provided by a balcony. Just so you - know this room sleeps 3 people with a child bed in the bedroom.
These smart, stylish twin rooms are a great base for your holiday. There's air-conditioning and Wi-Fi* available in your room plus you'll also have satellite or cable TV and a safety deposit box*. There's outside space too - you can make use of the balcony if required.
Love turkey, love olu deniz just a bit disappointed in this hotel. Stayed in hisarono previously and had a wonderful hotel. I feel as you're nearer to the beach it's more difficult to find a lovely hotel.
Staff were ok but could be much improved as not always helpful.
Triple room excellent but small double not so, located next to the cleaners mop and not enough room to swing a cat. Food great and good choice, staff in restaurants lovely with nice attitudes.
Pool and facilities including spa excellent.
Son left his mobile phone in room and despite contacting hotel several times upon return no reply back which was very disappointing. Won't stay here again.More
I visited this hotel in June 2014, the food was great in quality and lots of variety. There was little to no entertainment, and the hotel could do with an update.
One major thing is the wasp issue! At every meal there was sooooooo many wasps, and nothing was being done about it?
Staff weren't great, we requested a late checkout at the time of booking (more than enough notice), but were told on arrival they cant guarantee until the day of check out?! So we were kicked out of our rooms from 1pm, and our transfer was not collecting until 7pm!More

If only it was managed
We traveled to the Montebello 27 September with a group of 8 adults. To put this review into context i have visited Turkey over 15 times in the last 7 or 8 years and twice earlier this year.
Firstly the positives:
The cleaners keep the rooms and the hotel spotless and are very friendly a real asset to the hotel.
The location is good.
The pool is big enough and there was no need to rush for sunbeds. Although this may be different in peak season.
The photographer and the spa rep great fun, even if the spa rep wasnt as good as good at table tennis as he thought!!
Both dinning rooms look good and nice to be open.
Staff apart from the ones mentioned were more interested in their mobile phones than doing their job.
The outside bar staff were rude, dismissive and were not interested in interacting with anyone. Would often stop serving half way through an order to have a chat or look at anothers phone. During the evening a man who sat at the end of the bar (allegedly the owner) did nothing to change this.
No table service although staff would just stand there chatting and tweeting!!
Inside bar, even worse, both guys we saw has personality bypass.
Restaurant.. Lunchtime was average at best, very rarely got any table service for drinks again although several staff doing nothing.
Evening... quality of food below average if not poor. You might be lucky to get a drink served but it would take some time and no chance of another. The worst thing though was the slow plate clearance. One night a television had football on in the end of the restaurant and most of the staff were watching it!!!
Drinks... well these were all over the place, out of 8 drinks at a time at least one would be wrong and at least 4 would be inconclusive as to what spirit was in the mixer. Even if you asked for more spirit it was not forthcoming and when you asked for less mixer every glass filled to the rim and over.
Entertainment .... well lets just say, unless you like Punch & Judy dont bother.
Pool area cleaner...the pool is open it says until 7pm. however at about 5 up would pop this guy with his buffing machine clattering sunbeds around and buffing next to youre bed!!!! Yes the window to get the area clean and opened up for the evening is only 7-7.30 but put a couple of guys on it. His cable was a menace as well especially as it was repaired and taped up in several areas all which were seen on many occasion to be in the pool!!
Wifi...although its not my greatest requirement was awful.
In could go on more but no. I appreciate its getting towards the end of the season but if i had their attitude to business on a friday i would be bankrupt. The lady swanning around during the day and the guy at the end of the bar (if indeed they were management) need to get a handle on this hotel and not take for granted that Thomson will serve up a fresh paid up bus full of tourists everyday next year. I would return again to Olu Deniz for 5th time but definitely not this hotel unless things change drastically. Its a pity because it could be a great hotel and you have great cleaners and maids.More
Very poor food
Nothing wrong with the actual hotel, and the drinks side of the all-inclusive was OK. However, the food was very poor. Hardly any choice, with terrines with nothing in them, cold "hot food", cold food open to the elements with no chilling cabinets, food running out very quickly and not being replenished, poor quality food, food not cooked properly ie undercooked chicken etc. Maybe this was due to the season finishing a couple of weeks later, but it was not very good at all. This meant eating out almost every day, after a cursory glance at the offerings in the restaurant. Old Deniz has a lot of good places to eat, so apart from spending money on what you had already paid for ( your food ) it wasn't a problem for myself and my friend. I think it would be though, for guests on a tighter budget, and people who I spoke to, and who had been to the hotel before, said that the food had really taken a severe downturn....I wasn't impressed with it at all, as you have probably gathered from reading this. Perhaps this was just a hotel winding down thing, but I think it is still not acceptable. A great holiday non the less.More
Cruise and stay
we tagged a weeks stay here on the end of our cruise in June . The reception staff are more interested in playing on their phones than helping you . The accommodation is faultless( if you can ignore the early morning call from the nearby mosque) however the food choice was dire ! Bony cold fish which was supposed to be a hot dish or unidentifiable gloop ! Plenty of salads but all drenched in an unpleasant tasting dressing . Some of the desserts reappeared for several days with added garnishes to freshen them up . All inclusive drinks package very limited choice and insufficient seating around the pool in high season . The resident photographer sold us a disc of photos which appeared to be blank when we got it home . The hotel have never responded to my emails requesting a replacement or a refund. Seems to be a popular choice for stag and hen holidays - be warned . Olu Deniz is a great resort but would never stay here againMore
