Located right on the beachfront, the Hotel Sunrise provides the perfect backdrop for lying back and enjoying magnificent views of the coastline. There's a pool, spa and restaurant, and you're only a short dolmus ride from the town centre.
The Hotel Sunrise’s location takes some beating. The property is set on its own section of the sandy Uzun Yali Beach, and looks out across the bay to the hills on the other side. Immediately outside, bars and restaurants line the road behind the hotel. What’s more, although you’re in a quieter part of town, you’re still only a five-minute dolmus ride from lively Marmaris.
Back at the hotel, a kidney-shaped swimming pool is flanked by sunbeds and a bar area. It’s a great spot to soak up the views, despite some stiff competition from the beach, which also comes with sunbeds and parasols for hotel guests. And whether you opt for the pool or the sands, the sunsets are particularly nice, so make sure you leave a night or two free to enjoy them with a drink.
Head indoors, meanwhile, and you’ll find a top-drawer finish that’s all about helping you hit the pause button. The spa, for example, features all sorts of treatments and wraps, as well as a Turkish bath. Upstairs, the modern bedrooms are a good size and come with balconies and home-from-home comforts like satellite TV and air-conditioning.
Last but not least, the food here is well worth a mention. The breakfasts always prove a hit, with the likes of omelettes and pancakes sitting alongside cereals and fresh fruit. Fast-forward to the evenings, and it’s all about local and European favourites.
Having worked for Thomson and First Choice in Turkey before I was very aware of what it was that I was paying for.
Now the rooms in this hotel are tremendous. Seriously. They are of a very high standard, with superb finishes and views to die for. The room consisted of a mixture of age ranges. I was travelling with my partner, both in our later twenties. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. This appealed to us more as we know how cheap Turkey is. The breakfasts were of a good quality, not overly keen on the voucher system but not a big deal at all. The restaurant was air conditioned. The only issue I have with the restaurant is lack of seats for the sheer size at peak times. Most days we chose to eat out anyways even for breakfast. You can get a full English for 5 Turkish Lira in Marmaris!
The hotel is situated right on the beach where the pool has its own sunbeds. The pool area is quite small but I feel the beach compensates for this. The location is idyllic if you want to be slightly away from all the action but close enough to jump straight into it. Dolmuses stop straight outside the hotel, all you have to do is put your hand out and I think it was around 2 Turkish lira per person to go wherever you want in Marmaris. As we had family staying at the Club Aida (Better located in the centre) we used the service frequently.
The rooms were cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis. We didn't use any of the spa treatments in the hotel either, again we didn't spend enough time here.
Overall I would stay here again solely for the high standard of the rooms and the beautiful views. I think this hotel is best suited to couples rather than families from experience.More

a nice hotel
we stayed here in september 2014, although it is a nice hotel it is sited at the far end of marmaris towards icmeler, we were bed and breakfast which suits our needs, the breakfasts were quite nice tho almost the same every day with the odd item or two changing, the pool area is very nice but for the amount of guests staying there the pool is way too small, but they get by that with them having a section of beach with plenty of recliners to choose from. its about a twenty minute walk to the harbour area an marmaris town centre where you can find bar street, or you can jump on a dormas at the front of the hotel that will take you there for 2.50 TL, you can also catch one there that takes you to icmeler.
if you are a beach person there is plenty to keep you occupied there, paragliding jet skiing among other things.More
We've never been to Turkey before so we thought we'd see what all the fuss was about. Chose the Sunrise because it was on the beach. I must say it made our first visit wonderful, the staff couldn't do enough, food was great(we went b&b) everything was clean. They even swept the beach every night! Our drinks were the best we've had anywhere... We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! More
