Located right on the beachfront, the Hotel Sunrise provides the perfect backdrop for lying back and enjoying magnificent views of the coastline. There's a pool, spa and restaurant, and you're only a short dolmus ride from the town centre.
The Hotel Sunrise’s location takes some beating. The property is set on its own section of the sandy Uzun Yali Beach, and looks out across the bay to the hills on the other side. Immediately outside, bars and restaurants line the road behind the hotel. What’s more, although you’re in a quieter part of town, you’re still only a five-minute dolmus ride from lively Marmaris.
Back at the hotel, a kidney-shaped swimming pool is flanked by sunbeds and a bar area. It’s a great spot to soak up the views, despite some stiff competition from the beach, which also comes with sunbeds and parasols for hotel guests. And whether you opt for the pool or the sands, the sunsets are particularly nice, so make sure you leave a night or two free to enjoy them with a drink.
Head indoors, meanwhile, and you’ll find a top-drawer finish that’s all about helping you hit the pause button. The spa, for example, features all sorts of treatments and wraps, as well as a Turkish bath. Upstairs, the modern bedrooms are a good size and come with balconies and home-from-home comforts like satellite TV and air-conditioning.
Last but not least, the food here is well worth a mention. The breakfasts always prove a hit, with the likes of omelettes and pancakes sitting alongside cereals and fresh fruit. Fast-forward to the evenings, and it’s all about local and European favourites.
just back from staying here for 2 weeks, we had a lovely sea view from our balcony, our room was very clean, nice toilet and a really big shower, could not fault it. only thing i could fault it for was the small pool they had for the amount of guests, but they also had loungers on part of the beach that you could use free of charge if you preferred the beach to the pool. the hotel is quite a ways from marmaris town centre but you can jump on the dormus ie minibus outside the hotel for 2TL and get of at the harbour area where you will find the markets. if you cross to the other side of the road from the hotel you can catch a dormus to icmeler for 2.50 TL and its well worth a visit.
on the beach there is a lot to do on the water from banana boats to jet skis, para sailing, even going on a taxi boat, for those that like the night life there is bar street and it can be found down at the harbour area behind the markets.More

On arrival and after a lengthy transfer/flight we were dissapointed to be told the hotel had overbooked... they offered us a room for 3 nights in their sister hotel the Marbella, as well as complimentary lunch or dinner and a free safe all week. At first I was not convinced, however they carried our luggage and drove us the 40metres down the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given a family room with a sea view (an upgrade), the rooms were extremely clean and lovely and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic and we chose from a menu for lunch which was great.
They then moved us a day earlier than expected back to the other hotel, we were happy with this as we liked a change. Again they upgraded us to a family sea view room and we could not fault it. I would definitely recommend this hotel - air con in rooms, modern and clean. It really was perfect!More

Just returned this morning from 2 weeks at this fab hotel easiest the best hotel we have ever stayed in, Stayed here in 2011 and all been refurbished since then to a very high standard, you could not simply find a fault the breakfast is amazing we were B and B but eat in the restaurant in the evening a couple of times and food was very good. ate round the pool at lunch times and again food brill, The staff are just the best happy, friendly, attentive and very good at their jobs nothing is to much trouble, we were very sad to leave and have booked for the same 2 weeks next year, The bed rooms are so lovely and as with the rest of the hotel very clean. If we had 1 moan it would be the music at the pool very same every day and a bit young for the age group would of liked a bit more relaxing easy to listen to especially when trying to read. We never had a problem getting a sun bed, most mornings not getting there till 10 or after, had a few days on the beach my hubby likes a good swim in the sea which was warm and again looked after very well. highly recommend the sun rise and looking forward to seeing every one again next year until then we have our lovely memoires pure heaven.More
Sunrise showed to be a nice and clean hotel by the promenade. On our arrival we were greeted by Mr Kadir who helped us with our luggage to our room, very helpful! There were some delicious Turkish delight on the table, beside the water boiler - a nice welcome for someone like me who has a sweet tooth!
I liked the bathroom with plenty of space for my perfume, lotions, lenses etc. It had a window to the room but you could easily shut the blindes. The best AC in a hotel I ever slept in. Very efficient I must say.
Another fine gesture was that on our third day, we found a bottle of red wine on the table in our room. No one had a birthday or an anniversary so we felt very exhilirated!
The pool area was also clean and very nice to hang around in. But I would prefer not to bring cash to the pool when ordering a drink or a snack. Why not just put the order on your hotel room? For me it is neither convenient nor safe to carry a purse or a wallet when I am about to swim or sun bathe. There is a risk of being robbed.
Unfortunately the hotel next door played some awfully loud disco music during the afternoons so it was not always pleasant to be outside sunbathing with that noise ringing in your ears.
In the evenings the pool area was turned into an extended bar with soft live music. It was lovely to have cocktails out there watching the sunset.
We only had breakfast (the coffee was poor) in the hotel but we could hear music coming from the restaurant in the evenings. At one time a harpist played some beautiful tunes.
The Marmaris Yacht Marina and bazaar lie about 4-5 km from the hotel. By taking a dolmus (minibus) for the price of 2 lira you can easily get there.
Don't forget to bring home a jar of the dark and thick Pine Wood Honey. You can buy it in the Migros supermarket near the Sunrise Hotel.More

Just returned back from two week stay at this Lovley hotel have stayed here a few times over the years. It has been refurbishment Lovley taste just a few little adjustments I feel need to be looked at. At breakfast were the chef prepares omelettes whilst people are waiting for meals from chef the big hot pots that the beans, sausages, toms, pancakes, where all in front where chef is working whilst people queuing for meals people could not get into to the pots. I think these pots should be relocated has not to course people having to move out way whilst people could get into get meals from pots. Sorry to go go but I found it quite confusing people having to push past each other at breakfast time which is a busy time. Bedrooms were kept spotless by maids and always a good morning from the Lovley lady's. The staff at hotel bar were really helpfull nothing to much trouble for them. My Husband and I tried to get a sun lounger around the pool but found out that we had to be up for 7am to get our towels on beds and found out that people were not coming back to the loungers till around midday which we didn't feel was fair so we spent rest of our holiday down on the beach and was looked after by a Lovley man who works hard on beach offering to get you drinks meals nothing too much trouble for him overall we had a lovley holiday and would maybe return back next yearMore
