Hotel Club Turban

With four pools, seven restaurants and a private beach, this hotel has everything you need under one roof.

The hotel has a great spot between Marmaris and Icmeler. Its nearest neighbours are a pine forest and a private beach kitted out with sunlounger-filled jetties. Plus, there are shops and bars 5 minutes’ walk away.

There are four pools, each with a different pace, and seven restaurants, including an Italian à la carte. In the evenings, two venues – the amphitheatre and the beach – host live music and shows.

Pinar S,

Beautifull Hotel....."BUT"...a few things needs sorted .

Hotel was beautifull, spottless, food was good but not outstanding you can be at one end of dining room for some food then have to trail way over to other end for other items, it would be nice if it were all together..entertainment wasnt varied, dancers were good but not every night, dont want to see dance every night, there was a magician but he was more for childrens partys, they could be doing with a good singer or something..also the dance stage was way a way from bars the seating was like a arena , half moon shape of concrete steps with wooden planks to sit on witch were broken and uncomfortable, there is dolphins just down the road witck kids loved swimming with, theres a mini bus every 5 min that takes you anywhere in Marmaris for 2.50 T.L the shops are amazing and a huge indoor market........I wont be back as for the money I paid I expected to have better entertainment witch is what I want at night, its a shame because it is a lovely hotel .More

Relaxing Break

Me and my wife booked for a week late deal just to spend some time together and chill. On arrival the hotel was very nice, reception area spacious and staff helpful, taking us to our room on a buggy. The hotel is very hilly where all the garden rooms are, we liked this about the hotel but not good for anyone with mobility issues although the main residence in the main hotel is on flat ground. Our room was nice enough -we had a garden room, I have to say I was a little disappointed with it compared to other 4 star hotels we've stayed at but other rooms in main residence looked nice. The maids came at different times everyday, we had to tell them to not clean the room one day as they didn't get to us until 4pm and we was getting showered ready for tea! There are that many rooms they could probably do with a few more maids. Food was great but as with any other all inclusive it was very repetitive, towards the end of the week we started to get bored of it. The grounds are very beautiful, lovely location feels like your in a forest, beach and jetty area very nice and private with floats out in the sea to swim out to and sunbath on. The entertainment was spot on in the evening in the amphitheatre, the beach bar parties were brilliant too every night with bug sofas just to lay out on and have a drink looking out to sea and listening to the music whether it be live bands or a dj. All in all an amazing hotel will definitely stay again some time in the future and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice relaxing stay. More

A Hotel of Contrasts

Not long back from two weeks at the Grand Yazici. Overall we had a good holiday but this hotel is definitely a hotel of contrasts. We arrived early in the morning at 5.00am and were initially delighted to be informed that we had been upgraded to a suite with a sea view. As a family party of 5 we were delighted; however, our excitement was short lived when we arrived at our room which resembled a youth hostel with one double bed and three random single beds. There was no sea view! The smell from the toilet was horrendous and we all knew within 30 seconds that the room was unacceptable. Reception were responsive to our complaint and moved us to two separate standard rooms at the far end of the hotel. The rooms were basic and outdated to say the least! I would not remove my shoes to walk on the carpet, the beds were uncomfortable and fitted with a hard sheet which did not cover the bed and the shower was hanging off the wall! To top it all we overlooked the hotel's tip for discarding old chairs and sun beds, an air conditioning vent and the car park. Back to reception and after quite an angry debate with the Management Team we were transferred to the 'adult only' block separate from the main building. This was much nicer - but still not 5 star. Having wasted a day getting our rooms organised we settled into the hotel. Our block was nice, peaceful and suited us but for some it may be too quiet. We chose to eat here too because the main Dining Room was simply too big, too noisy, too chaotic and a free for all. Manners were absent from guests and some staff and reminded us of a badly run school canteen. It was not for us! We ate at the other snack bars for lunch (would recommend the Italian) and had lovely evening meals at the Chinese (excellent); the Italian (excellent and lots of food) and Turkish (very good). The waiting staff at the adult restaurant were fantastic. They were attentive, helpful and always keen to help. Special mention to Ezra and the ice cream man! The manager ran a tight ship and it showed. We did not venture down to the main pool at all because it looked far too busy with sunbeds close to each other although the main pool was large with lots of activities going on. We used the adult only pool which was small but suited our needs. The pool was supposed to be a peaceful pool for adults with no inflatables, no music and no children however, the pool was not monitored by the life guard or hotel staff who would shrug their shoulders when babies/children or loud groups used the pool. We raised our various concerns with Michelle and were told that the Hotel was '5 Star Marmaris.' We have visited Turkey on a number of occasions and this hotel would be by far the poorest in terms of accommodation and maintenance. Overall we did have a good holiday but we did not have the 5 star experience which we had expected- 4 star at a push if you are lucky enough to be allocated the adult section.More
