This contemporary hotel lines up a city-centre location, a private patch of Marmaris Beach, and great pool and dining scenes.
The Blue Bay Platinum is set in the centre of Marmaris, with shops and bars on the doorstep. The harbour and old town are a few minutes’ drive away, and you’ve got a private section of next-door Marmaris Beach.
The hotel’s not long had a full makeover, so everything’s really contemporary – especially the bedrooms, with their blonde-wood furniture, beach-scene wall murals and aqua accents.

Stayed here last year, I love marmaris it was my 40th birthday my daughters 18th and my friends 50th so we wanted something special, this was a5* hotel and boy did it live up to it, the whole trip was fantastic The hotel is exceptionally clean, gorgeous reception area, the rooms are lovely decorated, tea and coffee provided and fresh water in your room everyday, the bathrooms are big with really spacious showers, my view was a the busy road but was nice to look at at night time, room cleaned everyday and jamas always made into something different every day Staff were lovely and very helpful and a lot of English staff worked there which helped The hotel has 3 pools and 3 bars The food is out this world I've never seen anything like it, the selection is on going even non eaters could eat here there really is every thing catered for. The fruit and salad are fantastic so tasty and colourful nothing like we have here. Fresh pancakes and omelettes for breakfast, fresh fruit carved into shapes, continental breakfast, English breakfast. Snack bar running all day chicken wraps, fish, spaghetti, chips, burgers, the chicken I swear it tasted just like KFC chicken, constant fresh salad which had so much flavour, I really haven't tasted food so good before. Night time they would bring you jugs of wine to your table, there was always another wide selection of food plus a fresh cook station, there was English dishes, French. German, everyone was catered for Huge selection of local drinks and cocktails on all day long About a 15 minute walk into town, beach just at the back of the hotel My birthday was extremely special we had such an amazing time when we got back we tried to book for this year but was already fully booked Very very highly recommend More

Fantastic weeks stay
We had a fantastic weeks stay at the Blue Bay Platinum Hotel! The location, just a short 100 yards from the beach is great. It takes about 25/30 mins to walk to the marina from the hotel. The hotel itself is great. Our double bed room was very spacious and cleaned every day by the cleaners who did a top job. Leaving our fresh towels in different shapes every day was a lovely touch. Only complaint about the room were the walls are quite thin and for the last two days the rooms next door tv could be heard quite clearly as they had the volume turned up loud. There are 3 pools, 2 were music is played and the reps play games throughout the days and one quiet pool. We spent all our days by the entertainment pool, and it can get quite busy to get a sun lounger so getting down early is advisable. The entertainment staff do a fantastic job, with games for all ages ongoing all day. They dont go over the top with trying to get you involved too, and will happily leave you in peace if you dont want to join in. We had read some bad reviews about the food and drinks before going but we found out for ourselves that the food and drinks are very good! From breakfast to lunch to dinner we had a good meal everytime! Theres standard food on offer, the same everyday and then you main meals change every day so it gives you a choice of what you want. The food was cooked fresh and was warm everyday and we couldnt complain about anything in truth. The staff are there to take care of removing all the finished dishes once youve done. There is also a buffet on offer next to the pool which off a good range of day snacks throughout the day from burgers, chips, pizza, chicken wings etc. The drinks choice could be more selective, i wont lie, but theres enough to satisfy most peoples needs. Alcoholic choices between efes lager, vodka, rum and wine.along with your usual soft drinks. There is free wifi in the reception, which is hit and miss how good it can be. Also with some holiday booking companies you get free wifi throughout the hotel, just ask at reception whether your entitled to this wifi for free when you check in then just put in your room number and passport number to connect.this wifi is also hit and miss though. But your on holiday so do you really need wifi? We enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay very much and would happily return to the same hotel, next time we visit Marmaris! More
Wow - largest selection of diamonds, precious stones, gold and silver in Marmaris. Stunningly beautiful jewellery; many items are unique, and bespoke designs can be created just for you by Mesut. Love my yellow and white diamond pendant. And a wee bonus - it has been valued at more than 3 times the price I paid. Now that’s what I call excellent value for money. Highly recommend.More
My husband, dad and I have just returned from a 14 night stay and although I wouldn't rate as a 5* it is definitely a good 4*. We arrived earlier than scheduled thanks to a well organised Thomson flight and transfer, we were checked in promptly and didn't have to wait for our room even with our early arrival time. Our suitcases were taken straight to our room which wasn't the biggest but was spotlessly clean stocked with everything we expected, we were in room 2419 and over looked the main pool with a slight sea view, although this is where the entertainment took place at night the noise didn't keep us up if we chose to retire early you can hear it slightly but remember your on holiday not like we have to get up early for work or any thing. If you didn't make it too breakfast at 10am you could have late breakfast so you don't go hungry, if fact I don't think you could go hungry in this hotel if you tried there is food on offer more hours a day than I could stay awake for. Our only criticism was that the meals were not very hot, fine for me as I like my food at room temperature but my husband and my dad not so much. It did get busy with lots of queuing I preferred to get my evening meal where they had previously been prepared and I enjoyed all of them bar one so can't complain there. I do think as the hotel gets busier meal time may not be the most relaxing experience. There are several pools I personally am not a pool person but did spend a few days at the quiet pool but after the first week this wasn't quite as quiet!!! There were always plenty of loungers on offer and there was none of this reserving beds at the crack of dawn which made a pleasant change on years gone by. The second week we headed to the beach which is small and stoney but saying that the guy Jon and his team down there are brilliant they help you sort out your sunbeds, run backwards a forwards all day for your drinks and generally go all out for you and all this without actually expecting anything from you, rare im sure you'll agree. We even booked the Cuban restaurant though him with another couple we had met and although not necessarily Cuban the meal was fantastic we wished we had done it sooner, £9 for a 3 course meal and a drink, we are and drank in there till 1am and when the bill came it worked out £23 per head, tell me where you'd get that in London!! We wished we hadn't left it till the end of our holiday to try it would have gone far more. So if your a beach person and like really good food then go meet Jon at the beach relax and enjoy. We also met the guys from the spa Buliett (not sure how to spell sorry) well this was the best Turkish bath, massage I've ever had, the spa itself is spotless and the little Malaysian ladies who work there are fantastic and have very strong fingers, we booked this on our first day and we're not disappointed, it is dearer than outside at £50 per person but that does included facial mask, and hour massage which you don't have to have but why not spoil ya self. We did speak to some guest that chose to have spa at the public baths but I liked the fact it was on site wouldn't want to be traveling after 2 hours relaxing and it didn't appeal to me to have my body scrubbed alongside total strangers, just me maybe so well worth what my husband and I paid. There is a beautiful jewellery shop on site and they offer to clean your jewellery for free, I took mine to Tony and he did exactly that they haven't sparkled this much in years and I didn't buy a thing from him although very tempted by all the beautiful pieces he had. Really nice guy and not the least bit pushy think his jewellery sells its self. There are some great trips to book, boat trips are best booked down in the harbour which in a taxi is 16 lira which is less than £4 and about 10 mins away or if you go out the back of the hotel and turn left you can walk took my husband and I 2 minutes it's about 1.5miles. All in all an amazingly clean hotel, all staff are friendly, chatty and helpful had a great holiday met some great people and would more than likely return one day as we're not repeaters there's a big wide world out there that I would like to see but I wouldn't rule it out.More
