This contemporary hotel lines up a city-centre location, a private patch of Marmaris Beach, and great pool and dining scenes.
The Blue Bay Platinum is set in the centre of Marmaris, with shops and bars on the doorstep. The harbour and old town are a few minutes’ drive away, and you’ve got a private section of next-door Marmaris Beach.
The hotel’s not long had a full makeover, so everything’s really contemporary – especially the bedrooms, with their blonde-wood furniture, beach-scene wall murals and aqua accents.
The restaurant offers a mixture of Italian and international cuisine, with classic wines and trendy cocktails. You'll also find large screen TVs and occasional entertainment. Book a table in advance as it's popular. The terrace is open, depending on the weather. You can visit one of the à la carte restaurants once as part of your holiday package with an extra surcharge of 9 pounds sterling per person.

My partner and I stayed at Blue Bay in June 2016 and we can honestly say it is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel remained spotless and everything is modern, the food was absolutely brilliant with a wide variety and you can pretty much eat any time of the day. There is bars everywhere in and outside the hotel so never had to walk to far to get a drink. When we stayed temperatures reach somewhere around 48 degrees so therefore we needed to have the air conditioning on which was brilliant also pretty much everywhere inside the hotel seemed cool.
Every single member of staff was brilliant and we could not fault any of them, they was always busy and working hard from the entertainment team who was absolutely fantastic to the restaurant team and bar staff, who also made our holiday very much enjoyable. I would like to make a special announcement to suleyman in the lounge bar, he was ever so helpful, extremely friendly and an excellent bartender and myself and my boyfriend can very much say we have made some great friends over in turkey and we will be hopefully returning next year.
Perfect location, outside (around) the hotel had breath-taking views marmaris is such a beautiful place and is surrounded by friendly people however there is A LOT of haggling but its fine. Bars and shops nearby.More
The rooms are lovely and big, cleaned as frequently as you'd like (there's a light outside the door u can change from clean to do not disturb),
The pools are all cleaned daily as is the area around then where the sunbeds are
The food is great with lots of choices, something for everyone.
The staff were always very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
Our rep Michelle was just fantastic. Loads of recommendations and very helpful, tailored suggestions to each person/group
The evening entertainment was brilliant, To name but a few:
Acrobatics and dancing
Overall I highly highly recommend it :)More

It was ok
Myself and my husband stayed in the Blue Bay Platinum Hotel this June for 10 nights. I'd read the reviews beforehand so was expecting good things however the hotel didn't live up to our expectations unfortunately.
Firstly the hotel is quite run down in parts. The reception area when you first arrive is impressive but the rooms, eating areas and pools all need some work to bring them up to standard.
The second thing I want to mention is the food. Breakfast in mine and my husbands opinion was very poor. We typically struggled to find something nice to eat each day. Lunch was a bit better but I've had much nicer food elsewhere. We only ate at the hotel on the evening 3 nights out of 10, the food was similar to lunch time. You could find something to eat but I would again say I've eaten much better elsewhere.
The staff on reception we found hard work to deal with. For example we wanted to book a safe when we arrived which was at nighttime. We were told to come back to reception in the morning. We did that but were then turned away again asking us to go back after a certain time. Again we did this and again we were sent away and asked to come back at a later time. When we finally got to book a safe it was a 5 min job so not sure why we kept being sent away. It was quite annoying to be honest.
The staff at the bars and dining areas and the entertainment staff were all lovely.
The location is fine. It's a short walk to the beach but the walk isn't the nicest as you have to walk across this kind of waste land bit first which is filled with rubbish and broken glass. So be careful if wearing flip flops.
Marmaris itself was very quiet. I've been twice before to the same part and I've never seen it so quiet. It's quite sad. For that reason everyone is trying even harder to get you into their restaurant, shop, bar, etc. It started to become a bit much after a few days. It's not their fault, business is slow so I understand, but think it's best you know what it's like in advance so you're prepared for the hassle.
All in all we had a nice holiday but I wouldn't stay in the Blue Bay again and I'd not recommend it. More
Just arrived home having spent 10 days at blue bay , food was great hotel was good , cleaning off rooms could have been better overall pretty gd. Facilities were gd close to town . What made the holiday great was the staff especially the animation team made everyday fun , went out off there way to entertain and make the days and nights fun x will definitely be booking there again. Look forward to going back More
Couldn't fault it x
Stayed here for two weeks at the end of May. The hotel and around the pool is always spotless, the rooms are a nice size with a kettle and hairdryer provided. I was in block 1 on the fifth floor and had a great view over the pools and sea, the rooms were cleaned daily with towels changed and bottled water left. The food in restaurant and at snack bar is lovely, the amount of choice in the restaurant is amazing and I am a bit of a fussy eater, I always found plenty of choice.
Now for the staff, they could not do enough for you and nothing was too much trouble. From the bar staff, waiters in restaurant were first class with a special mention to Zeynel Kaya who really looked after us during our stay. The entertainment team were amazing and helped make our holiday even more special, Dodo, Kubi, Bob, Mustafa, Umit, Shaun the sheep and Lily were so hard working and never pushy trying to get people to join in the pool games. If you stay here you've got to catch Kubi and his bingo, hilarious.
I also have to mention Antonio such a lovely man and the spa package we got was amazing and well worth the money.
Have booked again for Sept and can't wait to return xxMore
