This contemporary hotel lines up a city-centre location, a private patch of Marmaris Beach, and great pool and dining scenes.
The Blue Bay Platinum is set in the centre of Marmaris, with shops and bars on the doorstep. The harbour and old town are a few minutes’ drive away, and you’ve got a private section of next-door Marmaris Beach.
The hotel’s not long had a full makeover, so everything’s really contemporary – especially the bedrooms, with their blonde-wood furniture, beach-scene wall murals and aqua accents.
The restaurant offers a mixture of Italian and international cuisine, with classic wines and trendy cocktails. You'll also find large screen TVs and occasional entertainment. Book a table in advance as it's popular. The terrace is open, depending on the weather. You can visit one of the à la carte restaurants once as part of your holiday package with an extra surcharge of 9 pounds sterling per person.

Everything is wonderful. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone. The price is very reasonable. If you want to come to Marmaris, Bluebay platinum should be the first option.
Internet connection was very bad and it wasn't free at the room, you can connect only on the lobby.More

We arrived at hotel staff very helpful there was a problem with our booking as booked with booking.com but we were immediately upgraded to all inclusive given a family room and changed to a lovely sea view room the next day having the choice of family room or sea view room . We were also given safe free for 10 days. Cannot fault staff or anything about this hotel had facilities for everyone, even a quiet pool area which we loved, location is perfect, also visited the spa which was fantastic. The food was fabulous we ate out only couple of nights just for a change but you really wouldn't need to food just as good as any restaurant. We will definitely be returning ,love Marmaris and been many times but this hotel is fantastic.More

Fun filled holiday in the sun
My first impression was a good one when I arrived at Blue Bay Platinum. Well presented newly refurbished looking hotel. I was disappointed that you could not get a little bit of food from inside the hotel on our arrival, as it had been a very long journey from Gatwick. But unfortunately all facilities were closed.
Instead we went out and there was near by food places which were fortunately open. Bearing in mind this was around 4 am (local time)
The room was very nice, clean, good condition, spacious. And there was two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. It also had air con which was very useful. The wifi once we was set up with our codes was a bit slow. And would work better when only one of us was using a device. Which was unfortunate.
The restaurant opened at 9am for breakfast, as we had a very long journey we missed our breakfast. But that didn't matter too much as beside the pool was a snack bar that served food from around 11am and carried on until 6pm. This was the same kind of hot snacks everyday. There was also the vanilla patisserie which was a nice extra facility. You didn't have to queue for coffees, teas or soft drinks. Machines were available all day which was very useful. And of course there was a bar for alchaloic beverages which opened from around 12pm I believe. Bar staff wasn't very friendly but you kind of got used to that. As some would give you the odd smile if they started to recognise you.
The main restaurant would also open at around 1pm for lunch, lots to choose from and beautiful ice creams was available as well as fruits which you take as snacks. If that's all you fancied. Same applied to the evening restaurant which opened from around 7pm and carried on till after 9pm. Which was very useful, if you didn't want to eat until a bit later.
The spa on the hotels site. Was nice we had a treatment which was a Turkish bath package, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I guessed we paid a bit more than we would of done outside as an excursion. But we thought it was worth it for the personal treatment we had. Sales men would walk around the pool touting for business in the spa. But they were very present and friendly people. They didn't hassle us as we had a treatment on our first day. But can't say if they were a bit pushy if you hadn't.
The hotel had an entertainment crew young girls and guys who I believe made the holiday. If that's your sort of thing, to be playing pool games, darts, pool, music and evening shows laid on.
Everyone finished at around 11.30pm but you could arrange to be taken out with the entertainment crew to bar street, which was around 15/20min drive on a bus they laid on and you only had to pay a small fee for a return trip. They would bring you back safely. Or you could return yourself be other means of transport. We went to bar street on a few occasions there was a lot of bars with all sorts of music and prices. It was best to shop around. It was quite a lively area. But some of the clubs got quieter during the week. Still good if you fancied staying out later. The only let down was this was coming out of our spending money as the hotels facility's would finish (In our eyes) Rather early.
Lots of shops near by, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and bars. Who would usually tout for business outside, in a friendly manner.
Overall we loved our two week stay we was blessed with very good weather which changed on our last day.
I believe it's mainly good for adults staying there, but we did go off peak season so it might of been more fun for children early on in the month. The slides were fun. There were two situated in one of the three pools which were available. One of the pools was a quiet area if you didn't want to hear the music all day long.
I would stay there again, and I would very much recommend it to others.More
