Blue Bay Platinum

This contemporary hotel lines up a city-centre location, a private patch of Marmaris Beach, and great pool and dining scenes.

The Blue Bay Platinum is set in the centre of Marmaris, with shops and bars on the doorstep. The harbour and old town are a few minutes’ drive away, and you’ve got a private section of next-door Marmaris Beach.

The hotel’s not long had a full makeover, so everything’s really contemporary – especially the bedrooms, with their blonde-wood furniture, beach-scene wall murals and aqua accents.

The perfect holiday

The hotel is very nice. Relatively calm, with a few large pools always have a choice. Is not beachfront, but the beach is very close. You have the option to take beach towels. The biggest advantage is the "all inclusive" food is varied and delicious. If you like beautiful view recommend to book a room with sea view. Sunrises are incredibly beautiful. Have lots of fun for the visitors. I have some remarks, as for example in their website pictures are small and do not show all the rooms and bathroom. There is a deluxe hotel wing, perhaps a little older than the others, but there is a beautiful view. When we checked into the room the bathroom floor was dirty. Water flowed out of the shower that went out to the bathroom floor and it was pretty uncomfortable. No vent. I could hear everything from upstairs in the bathroom. But with everything else these are trifles. Staff was courteous. We had a great vacation, I'd visited the hotel again.More

Румяна К,

Could be great but wasnt.

I traveled here with my wife at the start of october. We are both 24. On arrival we thought the place looked the part. When we got our room we had 3 single beds in our room. they had no other rooms to give us. we pushed the beds together. we asked for them to be made up as a double the next day. They did just that however we were only left a single cover. 3 nigths out of 7 we were woken up to the sounds of the doorbell going! this went off every time there was a power cut. it was about every 10 minutes from around 4am. bearing in mind we are on holiday and didnt go to sleep until early houres on the morning. when i asked reception they were rude. the woman next door had a baby which she couldnt settle due to the doorbells also. we didnt even get an appology off the hotel for all this. Also the cleaning trolly was left outside our hotel room on the second floor. I found staff to be rude. the only ones polite were the ones you paid a service for like the spa. I have stayed at platinum hotels before and never had to pay for a safe. this is apparently because you get free wifi. I wouldnt say this is a platinum hotel. its very nice looking but apart from that there is work to be done. on the upside i didnt have a problem with the food and selection of drinks was great. always something to eat. We wouldnt return to this hotel due to minor and easily fixed problems. I emailed the travel agent while away to complain but they had no interest and didnt respond.More

Stayed here for 7 nights with my girlfriend and from arriving we loved every minute of it even when I was hungover to hell from the lethal amount of alcohol they do as measurements for drinks, the food on the other hand wasn't for me in general but I'm a fussy eater so I don't mark it down for that as my girlfriend and everyone else seemed to enjoy it. The pool like the hotel was lovely and clean and the weather was like 30 degrees the beach is just across from the front of the hotel which is ideal if you want to head there on a whim. The staff were very friendly and even waited on you at the bar if they weren't too busy, the entertainment at night was also enjoyable as it mostly consisted of me being drunk. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel to everyone from couples and family's to friends all in all a nice place to be and unwind.More

Fab location. Good hotel.

Stayed for ten days with my partner. We are both in our mid 30s and wanted a hotel that was not surrounded by kids. So this turned out to be ideal as the quiet pool suited us. Cant comment on the other pools as did not stop at them. Evening entertainment seemed popular but again didnt go on holiday for that and didnt see any of it so cant comment. Location. Ideal. However the road out side is busy and if like us your room is at the front of hotel you may get fustrated buy the constant car horns bibbing. But not hotels fault. After a short walk left or right there are lots of shops and places to eat id say the hassle for business is the same on main road as to beach walk so makes no difference. Hotel is clean, fresh and comfortable. Rooms cleaned if u leave your light on. Food. Breakfast was a bit naff lunch good and dinner okay. Dinner was okay on the times we ate there. Clamiari was the best iv ever had. We chose to eat out alot because we can and like to. But your never going to please everybody with hotel food. Only tried red wine at hotel.... like paint stripper so stuck to spirits. Beer was also good. Didnt eat in snack bar so no comments there. Ice cream fab and cakes. Coffee was machine. So recommend take your own. Jst ask bar man for a glass of milk last thing at night so no need to buy. We had a few terrible nights sleep due to power cutting out and back on..... door bell going off each time. One night this lasted for about 2 hours and then seemed to contine on and off for a few days. Bit irrating But had nothing to get up for so not to fussed. El primo one of the best steaks we have had. Service okay. Nothing amazing. Wifi seemed to work around whole site. Gym good. But no olympic bar. Not air conned... so very warm. Spa good value. Coach transfur is rubbish. Its almost 2 hours. Over all. It was okay. Didnt blow our minds didnt wow us. Loved the location love marmaris.More
