The Club Turquoise has handy location, a lively pool area and regular Turkish themed nights.
This place has nabbed a great spot, just outside Marmaris’ town centre. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the old bazaar, and the area’s shingle beach is closer still – just 10 minutes away.
Inside, the décor is traditional. The lobby features wood beams, a wrought-iron chandelier and a terracotta-flagged floor. Rooms follow a similar style, with Ottoman-esque arched windows and dark-wood furnishings.
A large rectangular number with a children's section at one end stretches across a sun terrace trimmed with shrubs and palms. Sunloungers with thatched parasols provide shade and are dotted around the pool.
At the pool snack bar there's waiter service, so you don't even have to leave your sunbed for a refreshing cocktail. The bar stays open 'til late offering snacks during the day as well as afternoon tea from 3-5pm.
These apartments that can sleep up to four are decorated in neutral tones with colourful fabrics and off set with dark wood furniture. They come with a twin bedroom and a double sofa in the lounge, plus a French balcony. There's a kitchenette with two electric rings and a toaster if you fancy making a snack.

We took a stab in the dark looking for places to stay in Marmaris, we manage to find the ideal thing, somewhere that wasn't too expensive, the best of both worlds - a self catering apartment where you have your own privacy but also the amenities such as the pool, restaurant and shop available. The poolside was usually pretty full but we didn't struggle to get loungers (went start of September). The pool had a bar and snack restaurant beside it. there was also plenty going on for those that wanted to participate - darts, bingo etc. the pool/bar staff were great, they were so friendly and always trying to get people involved (but left you to your lounging if that's what you preferred). They were great with kids and had a poolside dance every day and also did some pool games. they also organised some nights out such as a pub crawl which we did not participate in. but for this reason, I feel like this place suited all - families with kids, couples, young and old - it was very mixed when we were there. The hotel offered safety deposit boxes at reception which was handy and had wifi in the reception area. The room was great for us, nice kitchen/living area, decent/standard/plain twin room and nice bathroom with shower. We also had a great balcony over looking the pool with a table and chairs, good for eating breakfast. my only issue was that our air conditioning let out a stream of water sometimes which wasn't good as it did leave a puddle in the living room. the hotel was well situated, a short walk to main restaurants, the main beach and just along that road, you could get on a cheap bus ride to the town center, main marina area.More

Booked again!! Getting ready for June 2015.
Just getting around to writing my review for June 2014 . This will be our 14th season at Club Turquoise and I'm never upset with the holiday when I get home.
When you arrive at reception you are quickly checked in your bags carried to your room by staff , safety deposit box is in reception it has a 2 key entry 1 always kept with management. Aircon is free . Rooms are basic but cleaned daily and towel ect changed every other day.
The complex has a huge swimming pool which is cleaned 1st thing every day there's a bar which serves all the local beers and spirits as well as imported. Bar also has Skysports. During the day there's a snack bar serving all sorts it's great value.
Kids club runs from 10-6 and catering for all ages games such as Aqua gym, darts , water polo , bingo , killer pool .. All the staff are 1st class we love them all.
The on site supermarket has all the wee things you need I personally recommend the jewellery shop I've bought items on numerous visits never disappointed there's a very good Turkish barber and a small gift shop and a tattooist shop .
Overall it's clean and basic which is set in a quiet part of Armutalan 10 min walk to all the main places of Marmaris.
Can't wait to see the place again on the 22nd of June 2015.More
