The Club Turquoise has handy location, a lively pool area and regular Turkish themed nights.
This place has nabbed a great spot, just outside Marmaris’ town centre. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the old bazaar, and the area’s shingle beach is closer still – just 10 minutes away.
Inside, the décor is traditional. The lobby features wood beams, a wrought-iron chandelier and a terracotta-flagged floor. Rooms follow a similar style, with Ottoman-esque arched windows and dark-wood furnishings.
A large rectangular number with a children's section at one end stretches across a sun terrace trimmed with shrubs and palms. Sunloungers with thatched parasols provide shade and are dotted around the pool.
At the pool snack bar there's waiter service, so you don't even have to leave your sunbed for a refreshing cocktail. The bar stays open 'til late offering snacks during the day as well as afternoon tea from 3-5pm.
These apartments that can sleep up to four are decorated in neutral tones with colourful fabrics and off set with dark wood furniture. They come with a twin bedroom and a double sofa in the lounge, plus a French balcony. There's a kitchenette with two electric rings and a toaster if you fancy making a snack.

Good basic self catering hotel
Stayed here for week beginning 10th sept. Requested pool
View weeks in advance but didn't get one, not that it mattered. Check in was quick and without problems. We were in the main block, there is another block behind it which does not get mentioned and pleased we weren't in there as heard view bad reports of cockroaches and cleanliness in rooms. Also there are no lifts just to be aware.
Rooms: Very spacious and clean. Traditional Turkish decor. We had a balcony, bath and shower our friends just had a shower. We ate out for all meals so can't comment on the bits n bobs needed to cook etc..,Air con is in living area but we left bedroom door open and it did the trick !! Our apartments were on the main road and it's so noisy you will not sleep.
The pool was large, plenty of loungers and umbrellas . The area was clean. Small jacuzzi pool but has lots of loose or missing tiles on the bottom.
Entertainers were friendly and good fun but not many guests stayed at hotel on an evening so it did lack atmosphere which was also apparent through the day, but this was not down to the lack of trying or enthusiasm.
Food and drink. We used the snack bar through day twice for pizza and was nice. Didn't eat there on an evening. We found the drinks expensive unless u drank tuborg lager.,, £10 for 4 cans of irn bru?? There is a happy hour, 7-8pm however they do stick a couple lira on the prices for the happy hour. There's also a cocktail hour 11-1 again bogof....The shop owners based in the hotel are very friendly and the mini market is reasonably priced.
All in all a good basic hotel in a really good location. This place has the potential, with some major updating to be an even better hotel. If it was cheap deal and not on the road side I would consider staying again. We would definitely not bring our kids here though, More

Absolutely loved Turkey, and the Club Turquoise
Me and my husband stayed here for 7 days and absolutely loved it. The people are so lovely and friendly. The entertainment team were brilliant, they never pestered you if you didn't want to join in the activities, there was always sunbeds available and the bar was really good, especially if you wanted to get out of the sun. The rooms were basic, but were very comfortable and cleaned every day. Also on our last day we both had a tattoo at the hotels tattoo studio, the tattooist Nina was fantastic, i absolutely love it. We will be definitely booking for next year.More

Excellent hotel, would visit again!
This is a fantastic hotel which offers great value for money. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and included everything we needed and had air conditioning! The cleaners were very polite and reliable and cleaned the apartment everyday meaning it was spotless. The reception and pool area were also very clean throughout our stay and the small supermarket in the hotel was very useful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel was also in a great location meaning it was only a short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the price!More
