Club Turquoise

Loading

The Club Turquoise has handy location, a lively pool area and regular Turkish themed nights.

This place has nabbed a great spot, just outside Marmaris’ town centre. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the old bazaar, and the area’s shingle beach is closer still – just 10 minutes away.

Inside, the décor is traditional. The lobby features wood beams, a wrought-iron chandelier and a terracotta-flagged floor. Rooms follow a similar style, with Ottoman-esque arched windows and dark-wood furnishings.

Absolutely brilliant

After reading other reviews I was of mixed feelings about my holiday. I returned on the 19th August, and I have already booked again for next year. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff are tireless in trying their best to look after every bodies needs. I did hear a few moans about the size of the studio apartments, but I had a 2 bed apartment (room 301) which in my opinion had the best view of the whole hotel & pool, it had a basic kitchen and lounge area (with a tv) it was also on the 3rd floor with no lift, so not great for prams or people with walking difficulties, but we loved it. I went with my mum (62) 13 year old son and his 12 yr old friend, and we all loved it. Cris, jack, bally and Chelsea the entertainment staff were brilliant in getting everybody involved. The food was great, and you can upgrade to half board for a small charge too. The onsite shop and barbers, are really good value too. This hotel is a little gem, and is centrally located for everything. There was a small problem with sunbeds (people putting towels out at 4am) but management got involved and solved the problem quickly, this is something I would expect in aug. In short this was a brilliant holiday, and I personally feel some peoples expectations of a self catering hotel are a little high, if you want a 5* luxury then this may not be the place for you, but we loved it. See you next year CT.More

very nice place

first experience of turkey and i will come back based on this hotel, the staff kept us entertained by the pool of a day and there is a lot to do in the town and the bay day or night, always enough sun loungers and everyone was very freindly, 10 minute walk to the beach and there is a range of water sports which are all reasonably pricedMore

Lovely hotel, clean and friendly - not everyone's cup of tea

This is a lovely hotel. It is clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful (apart from the miserable barman Ilkan) . The rooms are quite basic but comfortable. We were originally in a room on the main road which is really noisy but we asked to be moved and this happened within a couple of days. The entertainment is great and the entertainment team work hard for you to have a good time. The bar meals are okay (we found better breakfasts elsewhere, mainly at Cousins,) but the evening meals are really lovely and good value for money. There is a problem with sunbeds, we found we had to get up at 5.30 ish to get three each morning because by 7, they are all gone. We don't normally do this, I do think its wrong, but it was a case of 'if you can't beat them, join them'. There was a large party of 15, who reserved them each morning and thought it was their God given right to have them until they strolled in at 11 or 12 each morning. Occasionally the bar staff move them (or get the entertainment team/waiters to do it) but I did see some people make such a fuss, they ended up bringing in extra beds for them. This hotel appeals to a certain type of family, but not ours - great holiday but I wouldn't repeat the experience.More

Lovely

A group of nine went for the first week then was joined in second week by 6 more for my daughters 21st birthday. The staff are lovely and kept everyone entertained all the time. The manager was great at getting a cake and extras for the celebration. A few problems with sun loungers but that's to be expected with a larger group. Over all a great holiday and would stay there again. More
