The Club Turquoise has handy location, a lively pool area and regular Turkish themed nights.
This place has nabbed a great spot, just outside Marmaris’ town centre. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the old bazaar, and the area’s shingle beach is closer still – just 10 minutes away.
Inside, the décor is traditional. The lobby features wood beams, a wrought-iron chandelier and a terracotta-flagged floor. Rooms follow a similar style, with Ottoman-esque arched windows and dark-wood furnishings.
A large rectangular number with a children's section at one end stretches across a sun terrace trimmed with shrubs and palms. Sunloungers with thatched parasols provide shade and are dotted around the pool.
At the pool snack bar there's waiter service, so you don't even have to leave your sunbed for a refreshing cocktail. The bar stays open 'til late offering snacks during the day as well as afternoon tea from 3-5pm.
These 2 bedroom apartments are designed with a simple style. There’s a twin and double bedroom plus 2 sofa-beds in the lounge. You’ll have a balcony, too, but just to let you know, some will be a French balcony. There’s a kitchenette and TV, plus air-conditioning available from May to October.

Took my 3 children aged 14, 12 and 5 here for 10 days in October 2015. It's a fantastic hotel, staff are so friendly and as a mum alone with her children I felt completely safe at all times. Room was fairly basic but adequate and kept spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Mini market, hairdressers and jewellers all on site. Turkish breakfast was included and we enjoyed it. Lunch time snacks and evening meals were lovely and inexpensive. We ate out most evenings but had lunch by the pool every day. As it was the end of the season, it was quiet and there wasn't so much entertainment but we liked it like that. I believe it gets very busy in the summer. We requested a room with a pool view and were accommodated. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will very likely revisit as this was such a good deal via on the beach.More
Friendly and accomdating staff. Didn't have a room preference so our room faced the street but nevertheless a fantastic hotel. Clean rooms near to the beach and restaurants stayed in a self catered room on the second floor. Our flight was in the early hours of the morning so we paid no more than £20 to stay in a different room as we had to check out of the one we booked. Although up 4 flights of stairs it overlooked the pool area can hardly fault this hotel

Great sized accommodation, great pool, good wifi coverage, bit of trek into town
Stayed at Club Turquoise from October 24th-Nov 1st (half term). The hotel was very quiet â definitely coming into end of season mode. Have been to Marmaris before, and chose this hotel because the rooms and pool looked big online and because of the reviews, and very happy with the week we had there.
The rooms â in previous self-catering apartments (Greece, Turkey etc.) Iâve had a small fridge, 2 small electric hobs, and the bed in the same area, at Club Turquoise you get a separate bedroom, and a small sofa(bed) in the dining/kitchen area, to sit on, which was a nice surprise. Electricity is provided by sticking your key fob into the dedicated wall socket, so you're only able to charge tablets, phones etc when you're actually in the room, which is fair enough - but the fridge is always on. 2 English news channels and a music channel on the tv, which was welcome. Our room was ground floor and pool facing, and we had full access and perfect signal strength to the pool bar wifi in our kitchen/dining area, but not in the bedroom (which was fine). The resident black and white cat also made himself at home when we left the balcony doors open, which was funny. At this time of year, itâs actually quite cold at night, and blankets are provided â which we definitely made good use of. Air con is free, but we didnât need to use it much as we were out all day. Weather was great for the time of year, around 25 degree each day, canât complain. Shower water pressure was pretty good, water wasnât always as warm as I would have preferred, but was adequate. Room was cleaned every day â wouldnât have minded at all if it was done every other day as we didnât need fresh towels each day. There was some dark staining in the grout in the shower area is probably my only suggestion for improvement, and maybe a proper sofa rather than the small fold out sofabed in the kitchen/dining area. You only get one roll of toilet paper per apartment, which was a bit tight I thought (we ran out of course!).
Hotel is a good 10 min walk to the sea front, and a 25-30min walk to the marina. Not too much to do in the vicinity of the hotel itself.
Food in Marmaris is plentiful and cheap, and some beautiful bars and restaurants along the seafront. Favourites included Moon, Bono and Dede, and I was pleasantly surprised to see many of the waiters actually befriending and feeding the local stray cats â wasnât like that when I last visited Marmaris 5 yrs ago! Did the boat trip to Dalyan on the Orca boat, which was great fun.
Booked with On The Beach, the rep came to see us the morning after we arrived, told us to call him the day before departure to get our flight/transfer times, when it came to call him we realised he hadnât left his number, there was no On The Beach tourist board in reception, so had a bit of a palava calling various people/companies, before we finally got the info we needed. Could have done without that. The younger reception guy was super helpful though, so big thanks to him.
Probably will be a while before we do Marmaris again, as it can get a bit samey after a week there, but would definitely recommend the Club Turquoise.More
