Club Candan

These popular apartments come with a big lagoon pool and a waterside restaurant. The beach is just down the road, too.

This place has a big lagoon pool that comes complete with a waterslide. On the dining front, there’s a poolside restaurant that hosts a Turkish night every week – expect barbecues and belly dancing.

It’s in a peaceful spot just a 10-minute walk from the middle of Marmaris. And the marina’s even closer. It’s also about a 10-minute stroll to the sand-and-shingle beach.

Great hotel but shame about the brits!!

Over heard a very racist comment over breakfast about the pray call from the mosque ( which is not far from the hotel ) banging on doors in the middle of the night and partying in rooms at night!! Can't fault the hotel or the staff but us british just don't no how to respect or behave in a different country.More

I'm just back from a weeks holiday at club candan it was a last minute holiday, purely booked as the dates suited. Had read reviews and where happy to book. We got a ground floor apartment with a pool view. It had one bedroom with two single beds and a living/kitchen are with one bed, dining table and chairs. The rooms where clean, maids where in almost everyday. We did have to ask for towels though as after 5 days they still hadn't been changed. The rooms where a little dated and the wallpaper was coming off the walls. But nothing too severe. And I'm fussy about accomadation. Free air con, but only in the bedroom and definitely needed. Free wifi, was suppose to be only in the hotel lobby and at the pool but I think because we where ground floor right by the pool we picked it up, however it wasn't the best. Better than none at all though. Safes are available for £10 per week. Couldn't fit my ipad in it but my sons ipad mini and all our documents and cash fitted. The shop and restaurant where reasonably priced but as always, it's cheaper outside. There's a place called the queen Vic. Highly recommended, better wifi (free) and really cheap for food. Our only problem was the apartments locations, not where we usually stay they where a bit further out. Near the harbour and bazaar end as oppose to bring in centre. And there's a mosque right beside the apartments and that wake you up every morning. And every few hours through out the day you hear it. Also it's worth noting we went at the end of the season so it was a lot quiter yet if you weren't up at 7 to reserve a bed. You wouldn't have got one. Management put up an urgent notice advising guests not to do this, however people still did and the hotel didn't remove towels like they said they would. I imagine in the height of the summer season this would be an issue. Staff where friendly, didn't bother you or hassle you to buy drinks and good, and the pool area was nice and clean. It had a huge slide that adults and kids all enjoyed using it. Overall i would recommend.More
