These popular apartments come with a big lagoon pool and a waterside restaurant. The beach is just down the road, too.
This place has a big lagoon pool that comes complete with a waterslide. On the dining front, there’s a poolside restaurant that hosts a Turkish night every week – expect barbecues and belly dancing.
It’s in a peaceful spot just a 10-minute walk from the middle of Marmaris. And the marina’s even closer. It’s also about a 10-minute stroll to the sand-and-shingle beach.

Spent two weeks at Club Canden and could not fault it in any way. Room was cleaned daily, staff were all very friendly. Entertainment team were very good. Curly the barber does an excellent Turkish shave, however dont be put off by the Sweeny Todd poster on his mirror. Turkey as a whole is a brilliant country to visit, i dont think i will ever visit Spain again. If you are looking for cheap trips ie boat trip, go karting or the highly recommended Talk of the Town drag act, then make a visit to Adam the rep at Why pay more.More

Just got back from 2 weeks at club candan and would highly recommend it to anyone. The hotel staff were all fantastic and room was cleaned daily! Arrived late at night and shop was opened for us to get water. Air con was not brilliant in our room but our friends there at same time said theirs was fine! Entertainment team were brilliant , cookie, Ozzie,Bruno and pepe! Our waiter Orlando was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us! Curly from the barbers was brilliant and everyone always friendly. Apart from one miserable woman who didn't like getting splashed even though she was sat right next to the pool and complained that it could trigger an asthma attack, more like she didn't want to get her hair wet or wash her thick caked up makeup off!! Kids loved it and made loads of friends . Lots do do outside hotel, tom jones the taxi driver take you anywhere and sing my Delilah on the way! Went on boat trip and water park, both really good! Would defo go back! More
Enjoyable enough holiday, but what's all the fuss about?
First time at Club Candan - family of four with 2 girls, 13 and 11 years old. We stayed for 2 weeks, and flew back last Monday (20th July). This was our third time to Turkey and our first time to Marmaris. Although we had a good holiday, we simply cannot understand what the fuss is all about and how the hotel receives 5 stars time and time again! Perhaps due to these reviews we were expecting too much? First the accommodation. I've noticed comments on here saying that the rooms are cleaned every day but we've never stayed in a hotel where rooms aren't cleaned every day so that's not a plus point for us! The maids are lovely and helpful - our eldest was horribly sick one night and it was of no concern to the maid when I told her. We never used the amenities in the room other than the kettle and fridge and they worked, so no problems there. However, first impression of room was complete disappointment. Clean and tidy but basic, outdated and dull. Other than 2 teeny drawers, there is one wardrobe, so I basically lived out of my suitcase which isn't a nice thing to do on holiday. The shower doors and surround were murky and quite dirty and when we turned the shower on, the shower head didn't stay pointing out to enable us to take a shower. We mentioned to the rep but it was never fixed so we had to sort it by putting a shaving foam lid behind one part and a razor behind another part to keep it from pointing towards the wall and to us! Tried not to look at the toilet brush.... We had a one bedroom pool view suite and it was a pretty bad experience every night. In the living area there was a seat folded down into a single bed that was horrible to lie on. At best you would have it in your house for a one night stay for a child guest, not 2 weeks. However, there was a comfier fold down couch that slept 2. There was air con in the bedroom only so we decided to give the bedroom to our 2 girls and we "slept" in the living area. I say slept...we never had a full night's sleep due to heat and no air con and in the end my husband had to make a camp bed on the floor in the bedroom and I slept in a single bed with my 11 year old. It was actually a health hazard sleeping in the heat in the living area, particularly if you have asthma (me and eldest!). Our nextdoor neighbours said they had moved the single bed chair thing into the twin bedroom so them and their teenage son could all sleep with air con - but they did comment, who's teenager wants to share a room with his parents? Oh, only one loo roll supplied and a big sign in reception telling you only one is supplied and then you have to buy your own! Nice lol! There is a wee supermarket just across from the mosque/cemetery and you will get plenty of necessities there and not in the more expensive hotel shop. Entertainment - yes, the guys are great. Funny, friendly, get to know you, but my goodness, same thing every day. Killer darts...pool game...open the box...killer pool...pool game. Every...single...day. Maybe it's because it is self catering (our first time self catering), but we are used to more. Nighttime entertainment - we stayed the BBQ night and it was ok, we also saw a girl acrobat one night but all I could think was she was about 12 and it was 11pm on a school night! Restaurant and bar - the staff are good. There always seems to be confusion over which table is waiting for what food, but the food is tasty, well priced considering it's in the hotel, and is well cooked and quick. The full English is 10TL - outside the hotel it's 7.50TL at Queen Vic but normally 8TL everywhere else - the Queen Vic full English is worth trying, I loved it. The bar guys were a wee bit hit or miss for my liking. They were great with us and we liked sitting by the bar in the afternoon around killer pool time (GOOD WIFI at bar!), but I could see how they treated the kids and sometimes it wasn't great. Shouting at them cos they were wet and to get out, not helping when the balls in the pool table wouldn't come out, not helping with the Playstation. The owner walks around day in and day out keeping his eye on all his staff but then you can see the effect it has on staff. I watched one scene in the reception and another round the pool bar. Nothing upsetting, just, take it to the office! 3 days running there was a poo-in-the-kiddies-pool situation which meant both pools were closed for an hour but Cookie, lead entertainer, handled it well, being serious but in a funny way! Beer in the shop is a wee bit cheaper than in the bar but we heard that they do give you in trouble for drinking it around the poolside. We didn't experience that, so occasionally we bought from the shop and sneakily drank at the pool. The waiter around the pool is lovely and helpful. Oh, get your beds as close to reception as possible - best is right next to tattoo shop - cos you get ok WiFi for the kids there. Still not the best, but not too bad! Sunbeds were a bit of an issue to be honest. 8am is the latest time to get down or else you will start struggling. And although the poolside guys will help you by finding beds, you won't get a parasol - and you NEED a parasol. DO NOT BOOK excursions though Thomson. We went to the meeting with the rep Jen. For the Jeep Safari it was £28 PER ADULT. We went to Uncle John up round past the Ampitheatre and it cost us £30 in total for 2 adults and 2 kids. He is completely legit so don't worry about being ripped off. In addition, we booked Mega Diana through Facebook and it cost £75 for all 4 of us - breakfast, lunch and unlimited alcoholic and soft drinks. Brilliant day out, truly recommended! By the way, make sure you haggle a bit - Uncle John offered us a free moonlight boat trip if we booked 2 excursions through them, but we had already booked Mega Diana direct and didn't want to go on another day out. Restaurants around the hotel - avoid the Beverly Hills Fun Bar - I make no more comment on this as we have vowed as a family to never...speak...of...it...again...ever. Summer Rain, Villa Dreams are great - ask for free kids and you will get free kids, possibly with free kids drinks too. Our girls loved the Queen Vic. Although it looks a bit ropier from outside, the guys are great, WiFi is good and there are 2 XBoxes and a Pool table. We also went to 7 Brothers and a Chinese across to it and they were nice, good food. Havanna Bar is worth a wee walk to - BOGOF cocktails and a bit of entertainment. Blackpool Bar with Roxy Tart is an absolute must. Book a table on Facebook and they'll come and get you. The free show will give you the biggest laugh of your holiday. In conclusion, I have to say that we were disappointed by the hotel's accommodation and what it had to offer. We have been to much better hotels with much better entertainment that have cost no more than what we paid for this holiday. I've been honest while trying not to be too negative - like I said, it was a good holiday, it just didn't live up to the expectations TripAdvisor gave us. Oh, and don't hold out for hot food being available on the Dreamliner on the way home - they sold out on the way to Turkey :(More
