An introduction to Club Candan
Fresh, bright and friendly, Club Candan is a great base for a Turkish escape. For starters, there’s the location. The nearest beach is just a short stroll away. There are several shops, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. But because the bustling hub of Marmaris is a good ten-minute walk from here, there’s no noise to disturb the peace – other than the occasional splash from the pools. On the subject of swimming pools, it’s definitely the big stretch of turquoise that hogs the limelight here. The main pool comes with a whirlpool bath, a generous amount of sunbeds and parasols providing a welcome bit of shade. The stand out feature though is the wavy, astroglide-style slide. Not to be outdone, the children’s pool has its very own climbing frame-come-slide in the centre, too.
Room-wise, they’ve kept things simple without skimping on style. Tiled floors and air-conditioning work together to keep things cool. While touches of terracotta add a little colour to the contemporary cream and white palette. Add to the mix a mini-market, a bar, a sauna and a Turkish bath and you’ll find there’s plenty to smile about at the Club Candan Studios and Apartments.
