This place has a big lagoon pool that comes complete with a waterslide. On the dining front, there’s a poolside restaurant that hosts a Turkish night every week – expect barbecues and belly dancing.

This is at the heart of the hotel and makes a great place for all the family with a large water slide into the pool at one end. There's a large sun terrace surrounding the pool with sunloungers and parasols. Right next to the main pool there's a kids' pool too.
Children's paddling pool
This is ideal for the younger kids, with colourful waterslides set into a circular pool, along with sunbeds for the grown ups.
Thomson Kids' Club May to October

Staff really friendly out also had a hairdressers 'curlys' lovely chap. A cheap restraint put of back of hotel turn right, then left at end of road, ' summer rain ' chi s nice English breakfast 4 TL. I'm back in marmaris in July 15. Can't wait fantastic place to go. 'enjoy people, you will want to go backMore
This hotel is far from 4 star. When we first got into our room someone had used the toilet and did not flush it. Our ac was broken. The male staff were only nice to you if you flirted back with them. Only enjoyed my time in Turkey when I was away from this hotel.More

Great hotel.....Fantastic Staff....Bargain....race to the sunbeds !
finally getting round to writing this review....We booked 11 days at the Candan club hotel as a last minute in July 2014. if I'm being honest the total price of £900 for the holiday was the main thing that made me book it, and we were not expecting the world. We were pleasantly surprised ! The hotel is great, kept very clean and is well catered for kids. The entertainment team work non stop and they are excellent, getting everyone involved...pool games, dart comps, plenty to keep everyone entertained. The food in the hotel was cheap as well and ,much better than the restaurants close to the hotel. The staff in the restaurant (Little Ozzy especially) are AWESOME...fantastic with kids. The pools and surrounding area are kept spotless. We did find it hard to get sunbeds firat of all, as we thought people would abide by the rule of non towels on sunbeds before 8am (I think it was 8am), but you get people lying across 4 sunbeds from 6 or 7am to reserve them...bit naughty and it would be good to see the management enforce their rule a bit better. But the staff will do everything they can to locate you a sunbed if you ask them and put them where they can. We spent all our time around the kids pool as we have 2 young girls, and we found this more shaded as well...which you will appreciate in the summer months here ! The Thomson rep (Jemma) was fantastic as well...so friendly and couldn't do enough to help us when my wife was ill...and great with the kids. When you get speaking to people, you can see how many of them have stayed there before...most multiple times. Great family holiday, and with all the fun can be noisy round the pool in the day, so prob not your first choice if you want a relaxing by the pool holiday, but we prefer a bit of life...especially having kids. The rooms are spacious...well ours was. We were on the end of a block so we had a balcony at the front and back. Only air con in the bedroom...and you will need it. We got so hot most nights we had all 4 of us sleeping in the bedroom so we could be cooled by the air con. Surrounding area - The restaurants near the hotel are not great...yes they are cheap, but there is a reason why. The best one was the Queen Vic (think that's what it was called), but there is plenty of ones we didn't try, so sure there are some good ones as well. The beach is very narrow, and dark sand. we didn't spend any time there but walked along the sea front. You will get hassled quite a bit to go into restaurants....or buy knock off goods. Some hassle more than others, but generally they are ok once you say you are not interested. the walk along the sea front is great, shops, bars, restaurants...a nice walk but tiring in the heat. The only other issue we had were the flight times. We didn't land until near midnight and then it's a long journey on the coach. We paid for a private transfer and wished we hadn't. The journey on the way back took almost 3 hours as his coach kept breaking down. Thomsons reimbursed us the money for that, but still a worry when you're trying to get a plane with 2 tired kids. Overall we had a great holiday, and we would go back.More

We enjoyed a 2 week break here last July. We stayed here with our children aged 10 & 8 and my parents. We all enjoyed it. Club Candan is in a good location with plenty restaurants nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the beach or the Bazaar. The staff are Club Candan are all very nice and friendly. The animation team work really hard every day & do a really good job. Honey does a great aqua work out amongst other things! ð. The kids loved all the activities going on round the pool with Coco & Ozzy. The Thomsons kids club reps do a great job too & their are different groups for a variety of ages. My 10 year old daughter who never does kids clubs loved it & can't wait to go again this year! The rooms are kept nicely clean with clean towels daily. The rooms have free air conditioning and there are safes in each room for a reasonable charge. Free wifi in reception & at the pool. We had lunch every day at the pool restaurant - good prices & typical pool bar food. We went out every night as we like to go out for a wander but the pool restaurant was busy every night and there was also a variety of evening entertainment. The hotel is just across from the mosque and although there are several "calls to prayer" every day it did not disturb us at all (we were there just at the end of Ramadan & quite enjoyed hearing all about it). There does seem to be a shortage of sun loungers and some were in need of replacing, but other than that Club Candan has a good pool area with a slide. Curly and the staff in the hair salon do a great job at a great price. All very friendly. Looking forward to our return trip in July ðMore
