Club Candan

These popular apartments come with a big lagoon pool and a waterside restaurant. The beach is just down the road, too.

This place has a big lagoon pool that comes complete with a waterslide. On the dining front, there’s a poolside restaurant that hosts a Turkish night every week – expect barbecues and belly dancing.

It’s in a peaceful spot just a 10-minute walk from the middle of Marmaris. And the marina’s even closer. It’s also about a 10-minute stroll to the sand-and-shingle beach.

This is at the heart of the hotel and makes a great place for all the family with a large water slide into the pool at one end. There's a large sun terrace surrounding the pool with sunloungers and parasols. Right next to the main pool there's a kids' pool too.

This is ideal for the younger kids, with colourful waterslides set into a circular pool, along with sunbeds for the grown ups.

Had a fantastic time here. The apartment was clean but basic. Ideal as all we did was sleep there. The staff are very friendly. It's close to shops restaurants and not too far about 10 mins walk to sea front. This was our first time to Turkey but it won't be the last. Will definitely stay here again. Only down side is the early wake up call from the mosque across the road. More

Good Hotel With Excellent Pool

We stayed in the Candan for a week from 1st August, as a family of four (2adults and 2 children aged 11 years and 7 years). The hotel itself is very good, with spacious clean rooms. Air conditioning comes as standard in the main living area, and you can pay extra (£15 or 50 Turkish Lira) for the air conditioning in the main bedroom area as well, which I would definitely recommend. You can also hire a safe for (£10 or 40 Turkish Lira for the week) and if you want to, you can also pay (£10 or 40 Turkish Lira) for all the normal UK T.V and kids/sports channels. The room has a good fridge, as well as a two ring hob, if you wanted to do any cooking in your room. Each room also has a large balcony either overlooking the pool or overlooking the gardens depending on which you are allocated. The pool does have a lot of sun loungers available (although as usual, people get up at the crack of dawn to nab them, and then show up after their lie in at 2pm!!). There is a large lagoon style pool with a large water slide at one end, and a separate kids pool attached as well. There is also another separate kids mini pool with mini slides as well. There is a large poolside bar/restaurant which is open from 8am to 2am 7 days per week. It has a good menu for food and a wide selection of drinks and cocktails. They also have a well stocked freezer with ice creams, lollies etc. The prices are okay for the drinks, but as you would expect they are more expensive than the main resort. The entertainment team at the hotel are there everyday from 10am to 12 midnight and there is always something going on. There are lots of pool activities and games like water polo, surf board games, pool aerobics etc as well as pool, darts and table tennis competitions running every day. There is normally a mini disco every night for the kids as well as special kids party nights during the week (last night for example, there was a bubble sculptor, balloon modeller and kids entertainer, besides the normal mini disco). There are also a wide variety of entertainment acts as well for everyone to enjoy. The hotel has its own shop, tattoo parlour, Barbers/Hairdressers, Diamond/Jewellers, Spa/Turkish Bath and Photohgrapher. I paid 25 Turkish Lira ( around £6) for a traditional Turkish Shave and we paid the same for our younger daughter to have her hair braided. We also paid around 100 Turkish Lira (£25 for 12 photos from the photographer). I would definitely recommend this hotel and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. More

Was ok

Just came back from club Candan. Rooms are ok but badly lacking in storage. Entertainers work hard but aimed mainly at young children. Night time entertainment beyond terrible. Summer rain restaurant is about a 5 minute walk and is a must. Food is gorgeous. It was ok but I won't be going back. More

A couple of nice staff , that's about it.

Yes it's probably better than some self catering apartments around that area but with the area not being great or central it's hardly surprising. firstly dropped off by our transfer at candan apartments instead of club candan when we did check in at club candan the Thompson rep says it'd be £25 for air con which I agreed to reaching for my purse she told me to come back later to arrange it whilst they checked everyone in 'Rude, plus we arrived on a mini bus so about 9 people in total hardly rushed off their feet' we went up to the room to unpack in 40 degree heat so in frustration I went back to reception to ask if I could have the air con which then paid for only for it to take them several hours plus 3 more trips to remind them to switch it on. Door to balcony broke 3 times I didn't even bother asking them to fix it in the end. View from room was waste land ,stray cats and a satellite dish 'I spoke to the a male Thompson rep about this who was also rude raising his voice saying hotel was at full occupancy creating a scene' Could go on but I won't bother but I will point out my daughter had her hair braided at the salon and has brought nits home with her, cheers club candan what a joke! Great Hotel

We have just returned after 11 nights at the Club Candan and have had a fantastic holiday. The hotel itself is very clean and our room was spacious with a pool view. The pools are lovely with a giant slide in the main and smaller ones in the kiddies. All the staff were great especially with our children, my youngest Joe was very taken with Jake in the restaurant who always had time to come over and say hello. Restaurant and bar prices a little more expensive than surrounding restaurants but not too bad. The entertainment all day was fab with music and games for all. We didn't see much of the entertainment on the evenings but what we did c was good. Overall a great holiday and hopefully we'll be back another year. 😄More
