The Atlantis Apartments team a centre-of-town location with a good pool scene and apartments that tick off all the basics.
The Atlantis Apartments are right in the heart of Marmaris, with restaurants and bars on the doorstep. A 2-minute walk takes you to the main thoroughfare, and 2 more gets you to the beach. And if you fancy a bit of old-school Turkey, the old town is 25 minutes on foot.
Outside, the pool is the focal point. It’s framed by loungers, and has plants growing in pots at one end. Next to it, you’ll find a pool bar serving snacks, and a separate children’s pool with a slide.
Apartments are compact, no-frills affairs. They’re a good size, and simply but smartly decorated in white and blue. All have balconies and basic kitchenettes for rustling up snacks. There’s a restaurant with an outdoor terrace, too. It does a good cooked breakfast, and has a regular Turkish night with traditional dancing.

With a stunning setting in a natural bay surrounded by wooded mountains, Marmaris is one of the largest and best-developed of Turkey's resorts, located 100km from Dalaman airport, on the southwest coast. The wide, palm-lined seafront promenade follows the line of Uzan Yali Beach - a long, narrow strip of dark volcanic sand overlooked by a jostling collection of bars, cafés and restaurants. A good range of motorised watersports are available within designated safety areas. Marmaris' Old Quarter is a maze of narrow streets packed with old houses, tiny traditional bars and the colourful shops and stalls of the bazaar, and leads to Netsel Marina where sophisticated restaurants overlook elegant yachts. Marmaris boasts more than one thousand restaurants - catering from traditional Turkish cuisine to fast food! Bar Street and the main promenade offer great bars and clubs for late-night partying and dancing. Icmeler is poised on Turkey’s southwest Mediterranean coast, about eight kilometres from the bazaars and marina of larger Marmaris.

Stayed here in a very hot August.Rooms were spotless and cleaned every day, staff very pleasant and helpful.Excellent location for beach ,shops,restaurants and bars and because it is just off main strip is reasonably quiet at night.A visit to Mustafa's... more on this review
