Elixir

With just 23 rooms, The Elixir has an air of a boutique hotel about it, intimate and welcoming. The attention to detail is exceptional and owners Kate and Ali have truly worked wonders on the hotel. Personal touches such as hand made furniture will make you feel as if you are staying in a large house rather than an impersonal hotel. Set over four floors, you'll find both an indoor and outdoor pool as well a charming roof-top restaurant. The laid back Turkish way of life is most apparent here when we talk about breakfast, all we can tell you is that it is flexible – there are no set times or strict routines to follow. Lunch and dinner are served either in the rooftop restaurant or the pool snack bar. We think though that you'll be spending most of your time by the picturesque pool area and terrace. Well placed for cooling breezes, the terrace overlooks the bay and the mountains which provide a gorgeous backdrop to a daily dip. The sun loungers are hand made with comfortable mattresses and plenty of umbrellas, and the whirlpool bath adds a touch of indulgence.
