Fantastic Getaway on a budget, Amazing staff + experience

Spent a week at the hotel, during the month of September, had a great holiday. The hotel is fantastic and the room was amazing with a fantastic view of the pool area, aswell as mini bar full of refreshment upon arrival. The all inclusive bars were very good and the staff working in them were always super friendly and had a laugh. The pool side snack bar was very good and easily accessible when you wanted a drink or snack. The only downside to this hotel is that the shower in our room did not have a full shower screen which meant that the shower leaked onto the floor and caused it to be wet until the maid came into clean it up. There is also a lot of wasps around the pool which is a bit of a pain ( literally ). The staff all around the hotel were superb and made the experience great. One of the bar staff who was working when we had our holiday, Yusuf was fantastic and made the holiday that bit better. The entertainment at night at the bar was also very good. I would also recommend for couples to go to the photography stand and get some pictures taken together although it can take up to an hour. The spa in the hotel was also amazing and the staff were very pleasant, a great experience overall. All in all the hotel and holiday was fantastic, the food was not bad and there was plenty. As stated with other reviews there is a lot of Russian people but they do not bother you if you don't let them push you around, e.g not letting them skip you in a queue. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be coming back to it myself, very close to a 5* rating!More

Good and bad experience in one holiday

My wife and I stayed in the Munamar Beach for two weeks in October and it was like staying in two different Hotels, we had been a bit wary after we read some not so good reports on trip advisor to the extent we tried to change our hotel with Thomson but had left it too late so we went expecting the worst. On checking in after a long flight and a long transfer we were pleasantly surprised by the extremely friendly and efficient welcome and check in, which was totally at odds with the reviews we had read. The receptionist Nurten was like a ray of sunshine and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was an asset to the hotel and a credit to herself with her smiling helpful manner. Our room a junior suite with a sea view was excellent and everything was as advertised, the food was a little bland and most of the time was not hot, although to be honest it was what we expected on an all inclusive holiday. All in all our first week was pretty good, then came an influx of youngish Londoners who described themselves as'' DJ's and such '' and the the whole mood of the hotel changed along with the restaurant dress code which became non existent with beach shorts and vests being the norm for the newcomers with baseball caps ( worn back to front of course ) . The general behaviour of these people was disgusting with noise at all times of day and night and general lack of consideration of other people who were trying to enjoy their holiday. Despite complaints from virtually all of the other residents the hotel management were not interested and were obviously only interested in filling rooms regardless of the quality of the guests. So in summary :- the standard of the hotel and room was very good although the standard of food was poor, the staff in general were good with Nurten on reception and Cuma the waiter in the a la carte restaurant giving excellent service in a very pleasant manner. If only the standard of the management of the hotel was of the standard of these two employees then the hotel might be managed in the manner that this type of hotel requires. Due to the above we would not consider returning to this hotel and I would add that that seemed to be the opinion of most of the guests after the influx of the second week. So if you are looking for a relaxing holiday where your opinion's and requirements are of importance to the management then steer well clear of the Munamar Beach as there are plenty of well run excellent hotel's in Icmeler but in our opinion the Munamar is not one of them. Nice Hotel shame about Thompsons

We visited early in October for the first time. Its setting and location is fabulous for those wanting an adult only hotel. We found the food very good and an excellent variety. Rooms are very comfortable. Our only problem was with Thompsons in Leigh, who handled our booking and , although we checked with them and were told our additional request had been forwarded to the hotel, it had not nor had it been received by their very efficient Representative. So folks never accept what you are told especially by Thompsons in Leigh. So we ended up changing rooms twice but they thick this is acceptable.More

Lovely hotel

hotel was a beautiful wonderful staff and everybody treated us very well there was a large group of people that arrived Turkey Weekender they made a lot of noise but overall was very pleasant people I enjoyed my stay and even participated in some of the turkey Weekenders events they cause no problem to me as this is an adult only hotel and majority of them was adults the hotel staff was very helpful and it is definitely a 5-star hotel so don't be fooled bye the comments left by guests that obviously don't like a lot of noise if you don't like noise you should go to a library not a hotel at the end of the season I think it's unfair people are making a lovely Hotel out to be awful experience all I can say is go there and experience for yourself it is a wonderful HotelMore
