After reading all the negative reviews we were a bit worried at what we were going to experience. All we can say is that they must have stayed in a different hotel.
Check in was fast and the receptionist was very helpful. We asked for our safe key once we had seen the Rep at the meeting because the receptionist had forgot to give it to us. We were lucky and were allocated a Sea View room. The view was amazing.
The rooms are very comfortable and very clean, as are all areas of the hotel, even the Hotels part of the Beach is spotless.
As for the food. You must be a very fussy eater if you couldn't find anything to eat at Breakfast, Lunch or Evening meal. There was plenty of choice and it was varied from day to day. Being a Muslim country you will not find pork on the menu. So yes you will get a lot of Chicken, Turkey, Lamb and Beef all cooked virtually the same way because the Traditional Turkish cooking is called OTTOMAN which is basically casseroles with different spices added. We have had several All-Inclusive holidays in Turkey and this hotels food has been the Hottest and the Tastiest we have had.
Most of the Staff we found very polite and helpful, but it is like anywhere, you get the odd one or two that can't be bothered.( Even in this Country you get them ).
All in all we had an excellent holiday at the MUNAMAR BEACH HOTEL. I think that some people like to complain for the sake of it.More

Bad food not as described by far by thompsons got food poisoning after spending two days recovering ate out for the rest of our stay clothing went missing from our room ask for your safe key on arrival as they don't offer it much too our disadvantage when we complained too reception they made one call then shrugged their shoulders and that was that getting then keeping a dining table was laughable. I hold a city and guilds and the army equivalent for food and beverage service and have also worked in a Turkish restaurant and personally would rate this place as 3 star the hotel its self was generally of a good standard but the staff across the board need training spending the duration off their time having in jokes and treating guests with contempt although thier are a few who shone if I were you I'd look elsewhere More

Not 5* but not as bad as some are saying
My wife and I booked into the Munamar Beach on 14th of September for two weeks, on arrival about 6:30 in the evening we checked in, Reception staff were very lax, we were given our room key but no safe key, We also were not given our all inclusive bands Had to go back and ask for both, I had read some of the reviews on trip advisor before we went and was a bit worried,, However I can say we found that most of the things spoken about had obviously been addressed , No problem with drinks or cocktails, Bar staff were very good especially Mehmet at Carmelos bar, Maid service was excellent room kept very clean ( Room 314 ) flowers and towel designs most days. Restaurant staff were short on ground and food was a bit repetitive but we usually found something, Pool and Beach areas were not kept up to the standards required by a Hotel that claims yo be 5* Lots of dead bees at pool area and I actually had to go and sweep them up myself as no one else seemed to be allocated this job, Went to the beach one day and where the last time we were here it was cleaned every night this is not the case now, The Munamar can be a 5* Hotel again but only if The owners and Management adress the various problems and give more training to staff to allow them to do their job properly.More

Having read some of the reviews, I was uncertain as to what to expect. All I will say to all the negative reviews, you must have stayed at a different hotel than we did. The staff were friendly polite and very helpful. The food was very good, plenty of choices on the hot plates and the salad bar was a delight. This hotel caters for various nationality's and the food showed this. All I can say for those who expect English food all the time, is go to Benidorm. Russians can be a problem, but they are the same wherever they go. It is something you have to live with. It is not a five star hotel, but a good four star.More

Spa very very good Would not go backMore
