This hotel gives you a relaxed pool scene, along with mountain views and a vine-covered dining terrace.
Life at the Lagoon Hotel revolves around the pool. It comes with a waterside bar and a restaurant where you can eat Turkish and international dishes on the terrace.
The hotel is in a quiet residential area of Hisaronu, overlooked by pine-cloaked mountains. A 15-minute walk gets you to the centre, while the famous Blue Lagoon at Olu Deniz is less than a 10-minute drive away.
Buffet breakfasts are within the Bed and Breakfast package and there's a waiting service at lunch and dinner. A barbecue night is held here, just check with someone at the hotel to find out when it's on.

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the lagoon with my daughter. Lovely clean hotel food and bar prices on par with restaurants and bars on the strip. Ate here a few times...lovely. huge selling point for this hotel is the fact that its family run by a great group of people. Friendly staff who gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. When i enquired about a turkish bath the owner had his pal pop over and pick us up in his car.. no problem! The bar and restaurant staff were full of fun but still very efficient and proffesional. Would i visit again....most definately.... first time in turkey and certainly not the last. Fab resort with fab friendly people ... ðMore

Stayed here for 2 weeks at the beginning of September.
Arrived early evening and was met by Seline at the desk, she gave us our registration cards and then went through the charges, air con £25pw, safe £10pw and fridge £20pw. We opted for the air con and safe as I refuse to pay £20 a week for somewhere to store a bottle of water, this is the first hotel I have been to where we have had to pay for a fridge. She then informed us of the BBQ night on a Wednesday £10 and the boat trip on Fridays for £15.
Anyway we were allocated our room, we did request a room on high floor with a mountain view but there were no high floor rooms available and we were allocated a ground floor mountain view room which was fine.
We were shown to our room which was quite small, there was a wardrobe with shelving but no coat hangers, luckily we brought our own, bedside cabinet on either side of the double bed. Air con was good, only English channel on the TV was BBC Global news but that didnt bother us at all. Bathroom was also quite small but adequate with a decent shower. When we tried the water in the sink, turning the handle for hot water resulted in just a trickle of water from the tap we reported this to Seline on reception and she said she would get it sorted, anyway we reminded her on day 3 and day 5, on each occasion she stated she would address the issue but when we left after 2 weeks nobody had been near the room to have a look at it. As it was the shower was close to the sink and we just used the shower head to fill it as the water in the shower was always fine.
Room was cleaned daily and the bedding and towels were changed every other day, the cleaning staff were lovely and always dressed the bed with towel art.
FOOD AND DRINK
Bar and restaurant close to the pool, the usual Turkish breakfast laid out, cereals bread, olives, feta cheese, a cooked meat, hard boiled eggs and cold jacket potatoes ?. There is the usual hotel toaster that warms your bread for you and then burns it after you put it through about 4 times. For an extra charge you can get a full Engish breakfast etc. We did eat at the restaurant for lunch on a couple of occasions but were not that impressed, we both ordered cheese tomato and onion toasties which were like a flip flops with next to no cheese in it, we thought this may be a one off so on another occasion we ordered burgers which were quite tasteless to say the least, this put us off eating at the hotel so we went out for the rest of our lunches and all our evening meals.
Drinks at the bar were quite reasonably priced, same as in the village, beer and wine were cold so that was OK. Be careful at the bar, there is a young light haired Turkish lad about 14yrs old they have serving who twice tried to overcharge my wife, one for 20 lira and another time for 10 lira, on the second occasion he was spotted doing this by the owner who gave him a rifting. Other bar and wait staff were quite pleasant
Pool is a decent size but its surroundings (tiled) does get extremely slippery when wet and whilst we were there 2 ladies had quite bad falls, one ended up in hospital after cutting the back of her head open. There are also some broken and sunken tiles close to the baby pool that are quite a dangerous trip hazard. There are plenty of sunbeds but there is still the ever present sunbed war, some people were up as early as 3am putting their towels on sunbeds and then not turning up until late in the afternoon or not at all. Another strange thing about the pool is there is a sign saying that guests should not take coffee cups round the pool in the interests of safety, fine you would think so there is nothing broken to cut your feet on, but the management are quite happy for you to take bottles and glasses of beer etc round the pool.
10am Nobody at the reception desk on checkout so we had to leave our room card and safe key at the bar. Never asked how we had enjoyed our holiday or anything, lad at the bar just took them off us and carried on with his breakfast.
Hotel is in a good quiet location not too far away from the strip, rooms are small but clean and functional. Most of the staff are very pleasant and all are very hard working, cleaning staff do a fantastic job.
We would not stay here again, we have been coming to Hisaronu on and off for the past 12yrs and there are better hotels in the areaMore
