With forest views, a Turkish spa and a poolside cocktail bar, the Pine Valley Hotel offers a lengthy list of highlights. It's in a great location, too, with Hisaronu's bars and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away.
This place is in a great spot. It’s tucked among pine trees and offers standout views over wooded hills. You’re well placed for going out, as well. Buses to Olu Deniz stop 400 metres from the hotel and will get you to the beach in about 20 minutes. Plus, the shops, restaurants and bars of Hisaronu are just a few minutes’ walk away.
The hotel’s grounds are dominated by two swimming pools. The spacious main pool is surrounded by sunloungers and sits next to a pool bar, which does a good line in cocktails. The second pool features three small waterslides, and a neighbouring children’s splash pool.
Elsewhere, you'll find a games room with a pool table, an internet cafe, a Wii and a Playstation. There's also a spa, which has Turkish baths and cabins for aromatherapy massages – perfect if you’re after some quiet me-time.
In terms of meals, meanwhile, there’s a cosy restaurant serving international buffets. Turkish dishes get a look in, too, if you fancy trying some local flavours. And for pre-dinner drinks, head for the Terrace Bar - it boasts wicker seating under the pine trees.
The bedrooms are arranged in two-storey blocks around the grounds, with lots of steps leading to them. Each comes with a balcony, too, so you can really enjoy the garden or mountain views. And décor-wise, you’ve got a choice. The standard rooms come with traditional furniture and floral bedspreads. They are getting a refurb for May 2015. For something more contemporary, however, upgrade to one of the refurbished rooms, which come with sleek new furnishings and wooden floors.
We had a week here at the end of the season so it was quiet and no jostling for sunbeds or breakfast! Our room was in block 4 so nicely out of the way. There's a lift available for the less mobile or for manouevring luggage as various parts of the hotel are on different levels - a clue in the hotel's name!
The reception and housekeeping staff are really friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble and my son had a lovely suprise in his room on his birthday which they had noted from his passport.
There's no free wifi at the hotel but most of the bars and restaurants in Hisaronu offer this service and it's no hardship to be out of contact for at least a few hours everyday (unless perhaps you're a teenager!). Having said that, the charge of £10 for a week isn't excessive when you consider you'd pay that for an hour or two at a hotel in the UK.
The location is good, a five minute walk to the strip in Hisaronu and Hisaronu itself is well placed with a short dolmus ride (cheap too - 3TL or 3.5TL) into either Olu Deniz or Fethiye.
We would stay here again as a couple - the teenager is almost an adult so unlikely to want to come with us again!More
We travelled to Hisaronu Turkey for our two week family holiday in August 2014.We arrived early evening, to very helpful staff that checked us in quickly, and gave us all the information about the hotel and surrounding area. Our bags were taken to our rooms by a member of staff. nice touch . Our room was in block 5 which was situated next to the pool area, which is what we requested. The pool area was very spacious, clean and tidy, we never had a problem getting a sunbed, apart from one day, and a member of staff found us two beds from another pool area and put them where we wanted to sit. The staff were friendly and very helpful . We stayed on a bed/breakfast basis, the food was lovely with plenty of choice. I would return to Pine Valley, very enjoyable holiday.More

We visited pine valley for the first time on 7.10.14 as a late booking for our honeymoon. When we arrived early hours of the morning there was people around to help take our cases to our rooms which was good with 2 young children asleep pushchairs and lots of bags, they also changed our to double rooms what we originally booked and swapped it for a family room with the children been so young free of charge which we thought was excellent and very kind :) the twin rooms wasn't very big but the they was nicely decorated and clean, the family room was very spacious with a ground floor pool view and very big balcony. The pools was clean and big but very cold this didn't bother the kids but I wouldn't go in, food was excellent we upgraded to half board when we got there for £56 each and personally think it was well worth it as the kids was free age 3 and 4. My children went into kids club and i was very unsure at first as I have never sent them to one before, but don't be put off Chris the children's entertainer is fantastic with the children and there was a lot of things for them to do through out the day. Chris also returned at night for kids mini disco which was really nice of her as there was only 4 kids there 2 of which being my own.shes a lovely lady very helpful and made us feel very welcome to the hotel, Also are Thompson holiday rep lorna is the best we have ever had, she was always smiling loved the children and would always come and speak to us when she had time. Lorna was very helpful when my little girl was poorly she walked us to the chemist after her shift as we was unsure we're it was which we really appreciated thank you. The bar and waiting staff are always very happy and will always talk to you and make you feel welcome and make sure your ok they are also very good with the children. There is a bus daily which takes you to billy's beach free of charge I would advise you to go its beautiful.Over hall the holiday was fantastic, and we had a great honeymoon even if we did take are 2 children, we would defanatly return back any time thanks guys :) More
Would def go back
I've stayed here twice now and loved both holidays. This year my son was old enough to attend the kids club and what a fantastic little club it is. It's located near the pool with the slides and Chris who runs the club is brilliant with the kids. My son made pizza a few times while we he was there and was able to eat it after, made hats, decorated and painted a stone that we had found when we went to the beach. I felt very happy with my son attending the club and would have no hesitation in sending him there again x More
