Fantastic holiday !

Been back less than a week and already missing it! Hotel is in a fab location, few shops/bars at top of road only a 2 min walk, if you go The Kings Arms have the T bone, Hisaronu is is a 15 min walk, yes it's only £3 in a taxi but really it is only a 15 min walk ! Went to Seahorse Bay, very nice, if you chat to the guys there they will offer you to return one evening for a meal on the rooftop terrace, collected and dropped back by free bus, as you can imagine the views of the sun setting were stunning ! Hubby will recommend the paragliding.....I preferred the mud baths.... Market in Fethiye on Tuesday, got to be done to keep the teenagers happy lol Hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were efficient and friendly, yes I found the food repetitive but I am extremely fussy. No complaints with the alcohol though..... Entertainment team..all I will say is Team Charlie ! Charlie the rep was fantastic, I don't think I've ever met a rep as friendly and approachable as her, very informative and nothing was ever too much bother. Thomson, she is a credit to your company. A fantastic holiday made all the better by the friendly staff, a fabulous rep and meeting some amazing people!More

Fantastic place

I would like to start by saying everything others have said is true AES is clean friendly modern entertaining basically everything you want in an all inclusive holiday . What stood out the most to me was how good / hard working / kind / freindly the staff where from cleaners to the hotel manager . Now everyone seems to be having a pop at mehmet . At first i thought he was a little loud and cocky when playing water polo but he is just a competitive charecter but if there is young children he would allways pass to them give them a chance and make them feel a part of the game. I never seen him being sleazy in the slightest. he understands english humour and has realy good banter . He knows how far to go . Little pushy getting you involved in the night time activities but if he wasnt no body would get up and it would be boring . He speaks 7 languages pretty well and is generally a great host . The problem with us is judging a book by its cover as i dodnt think much of him but warmed to him over the first couple of days. My daughter loved honde as did all the other kids Charlie was a jester and i think my mate had a man crush on him he did manage well when mehmet was off for 3 days but it wasnt the same . Helpfull hint ) (Never seen anyone else tipping the waiting staff but for a 5 or 10 lira tip the allready fantastic accomodating guys working the outside bar / tables and dining hall staff . Your service goes from good quick and polite to SuPer fast 5 star vip glass never empty treatment and they are so greatfull . Ps the spar is great value i have never felt that i would enjoy a small turkish man giving me a good scrub down and rinse off , but how wrong was I !! All in all brilliant place and i hope turkey stays a safe place for us brittons to holiday 5starrrrrrrrr x More

Peter P,

Amazing

I had an incredible time at this hotel everything is perfect from the maids to the waiters to the chefs every member of staff you come across is lovely the bar staff are excellent and the entertainment made my visit the food was nice and the hotel was clean I am 100% going to be returning to this hotel and would like to make a special mention to Murat behind the bar he is excellent and to Charlie and Mehmet from the entertainment team the holiday wouldn't have been the same without them.More

Catya Y,

Lovely stay in a lovely hotel.

Hotel was lovely, friendly welcoming staff at all times, variety of drinks available from morning until midnight. Food was tasty and there was always something in the restaurant that took mine and my partner's fancy (and he is such a fussy eater) Pool area was clean and always plenty of sunloungers available throughout the day. Rooms were kept clean at all times. The rooms on the top floor has a sloping roof which made the room seem small, but the amount of time spent in the room was minimal, so this didn't bother us. Hotel is in a lovely quiet area just a short walk from Hisaronu. Airconditioning in the room was excellent. Would stay here again!More

Helen R,

Excellent value :)

All in all this was a fantastic holiday, I've never gone back to a hotel for a 2nd visit but this could be a first. The room were lovely, always cleaned and water in the fridge. The staff are friendly and always happy to help, and the entertainment team were excellent especially Charlie....Mehmet thinks it's all about him, that is my only criticism unless he was the centre of attention he wasn't happy!! The food was OK but not a vast variety, we were there for a week not sure I could have stomached 2 weeks of it but there was a enough choice to have something different each day. The restaurant was clean and tidy, plates cleared straight away and glasses topped up. The executive chef was always on hand to explain what certain dishes were, and was always happy. Charlie the Thomson's rep was always on site, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area of what was good and not. I wouldn't recommend going to Billy's beach, but would recommend Seahorse beach which was be reached by bus or taxi. There is a waterpark not far from the hotel too, and a free shuttle bus to and from but you are unable to take your own food and drink on site. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday :) :)More
