Honest and frank review

We spent a week there towards the end of June 16, on arrival at 2130 we were shown directly to the dining room, we were told that the restaurant had just closed but they had kept it open for the late arrivals, what a great introduction to the hotel, first impression is so important and they got it just right. Once fed we headed back to reception to collect our baggage and then shown to our very adequate room, quite spacious with a large bathroom and generous shower, the only negative with all rooms is the balconies are very small, other than that they are well maintained and cleaned daily, with towels and bedding changed EVERY day. There is also a small fridge which has fresh bottled water added free of charge daily, another bonus is they also provide a free safety deposit box in your room and free air conditioning. The hotel operates the all-inclusive bar from 10am - midnight, serving local beer, wine, local spirits, soft drinks and a range of cocktails, you can also pay extra for branded spirits and liquors.. if there is anything you are not sure of just ask at the bar, they are happy to help and advise, although one or two of the bar staff can look a little miserable at times, they do work long hours and can get extremely busy during the "show times"...... I have mentioned this to Aytuk the bar and catering manager (See Pic) who is aware and will be addressing the staff attitude as the season progresses, Aytuk is simply wonderful, very easy to talk to and very accommodating, he will go out of his way to help make your holiday as good as possible.. The hotel have their own animation team who are very very good and work tirelessly to keep things rolling along throughout the day and into the evening, Charlie leads the team and is as mad as they come, loud and confident and always smiling, just join in and enjoy the ride.. Now a little about the catering, on the whole it is everything you would expect, there is plenty of variety and a large selection, I had one issue where a chicken curry was served cold, as soon as this was brought to the attention of Aykut he had it removed immediately and replaced, he could see that I was disappointed with this and did everything to put it right.. the omelettes are made to order at breakfast and are a real treat and a great way to start the day. If its 5* you are looking for then this is not the place for you, however if it's 4* with fun then you have found it, the pool is a great size and there are plenty of sun loungers for everyone, there is also a small pool for the toddlers.. They really do work very hard and rely on tips, 5\10 Lira here and there is not a lot to give but is very much appreciated... Our Tui rep was a lovely young lady called Charlie, a real help to everyone, she is a little diamond, nothing is too much trouble, she recommended the paragliding which we booked through her, yes you can get it cheaper in the town but the professionalism of the company Charlie uses is amazing, and what a fabulous experience, I can highly recommend this truly stunning adventure.. priced at less than £80 it's worth every penny.. If you want to venture into the town just ask at reception and a taxi will appear in minutes, at a cost of 12 Lira they will drop you in the centre of town, you can of course walk in, but it will take you 20 minutes and can get very hot if walking during the day... I hope you have a fabulous time if you decide this is for you, you will not be disappointed..More

Wonderful holiday

Just came back from a weeks holiday here. Weather was very hot so lots of dips in the pool. Lovely hotel very clean, the cleaners worked very hard. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Animation team worked hard and were not pushy, a lovely group of guys and gal. Entertainment on the evening was enjoyable but didn't start till 2200 and all over by 2300, the bar closed at midnight. Only one bar which did get a little busy, maybe more staff needed. Plenty of room in the restaurant regardless of what time you went to eat. Plenty of choice most evenings. Overall a great holiday and would go backMore

Really nice place!

Entertainment, bar and restaurant staff was absolutely great! Our room was big with good level of cleanness (everyday). Several choices of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, Charlie our Thompson agent was really helpful and kind enough to deal with doubts and enquires any time. Definitely will be back!More
