Something is wrong here.........

We booked for 11 nights and when we arrived we thought the hotel was lovely, clean and room was a nice size. 3 days in and a lots more people arrived I noticed the hotel then struggled to keep up with cleanliness within the resturant area (picked six cups up all dirty, cutlery too everyday). Glasses from the night before were left poolside until the staff did a walk around, usually lunchtime. Also I noticed our sink, shower and toilet was not cleaned for the full ten days I think the cleaner spent more time making hearts out of towels which is lovely but I would have expected the room to be cleaned first. Especially with the big which was going round. My partner and I didnt realise the extent of the problem as we had spent all day out and about. When we came back from the beach one day we went into the pool that even my partner became ill, as the big was unpredictable we decided to stay round the pool and thought it would be gone. We then started to hear the horror stories of people running to the toilets in a panic. Their was also some awful sites too. I then got I'll in the afternoon and suffered from severe cramps and had to stay in the room. We stopped using the hotel public toilets as we noticed they were not getting cleaned and signed for and not particularly clean. The whole hotel went down with bug which resulted to everyone staying poolside or in their rooms. It wasn't until 2 days before we left when cleaners started to clean round the pool and sanitiser was out in the resturant, a little to late as we reported this to our rep who said she knew about the problem 5 days ago. When we said why had nothing been done she tried to backtrack and said she didn't know then. I feel bad that this has happened but when our holiday was ruined and no staff members seemed bothered until the last minute to stop this bug spreading. The hotel should have been evacuated as the big was still spreading, new people were coming and still getting it. The bug was picked up through the water. The hotel obviously could not keep up with more guests and the cleanliness l, such a shame but would not go back!!!!More

Second time staying at this hotel and just like the first time excellent, great choice of food and well set out. Staff are great no complaints from any of our party of eight, our check out time was 12 noon and we were given a room for 30 minutes per couple to freshen up as our transfer was at 19.45 and we removed our band ourselves on leaving AES. Many thanks for a great stay yet again. :-)More

Once again a very memorable stay

Firstly, do not hesitate to book this hotel, you will LOVE it. We visited fro 19th to 26th August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is one of the friendliest we have ever experienced, we also visited two years ago, and were certainly not disappointed on our return visit this year. If just seems to have a real family atmosphere about the place, the staff are amazing and everyone seems to get to know each other so quickly, you spend the day smiling and chatting to lovely people. The management team, Gian, Fred and Isha are constantly around and about and always very approachable, a real bonus I think to any hotel as quite often this is not the case and you can't get to speak to them. We spoke to them at length most days and really enjoyed their company and thoughtfulness, all they want is for you to really genuinely enjoy your holiday and they listen attentively to the comments of all the guests. The rooms are spot on, clean, modern, tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge and free air con and a free safe, what more do you need! The food is lovely, always served with a smile especially from Ahmed (the bread chef). He made me feel special every single day with my heart shaped pancakes, bread hearts and delicious fresh fruit salads, thank you We never once waited to be served at the bar, thank you to all the bar staff but especially to Murat, what a lovely guy he is. Well done to the animation team for all their hard work. Not too pushy but friendly enough to make you want to join in. Even got my husband to have a go at the aqua aerobics and the club dance, all such good fun and just what you need on your well deserved holiday. The position of the hotel is perfect. Close enough to visit lots of lovely places but peaceful too, the trips are fantastic value for money in Turkey. To sum it up we had a fantastic time, met some amazing people and wish we were back there now! I don't hesitate to recommend this hotel wholeheartedly Keep up the good work all of you at the AES Club Hope to see you again soon xMore

Super Holiday

I visited this hotel from the 12th - 23rd August! There were 3 people in my group, one of them being my 7 year old son. We arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning, the check in was speedy and we were taken to our room! The room was a ground floor room which was adequately sized and faced the childrens play area! The staff at the hotel were friendly. They would make conversation and most of them took a liking to my son. The entertainment was just right! Not over bearing and at intervals throughout the day! I didn't take part in the daytime activities but my son enjoyed the activities organised by Jolly! Leo, Tom and Jimmy who organised the adult activities were also friendly. The food was nice and it was nice to eat Turkish food whilst in Turkey! Unfortunately my family were struck by the 'bug' which was an unpleasant experience but we were determined not to let it ruin our holiday! The hotel management seemed to be doing all the could to stop the bug from spreading! I wouldn't solely blame the hotel as it also seems to be an issue here in England. Most people at the hotel were friendly and there was also someone to talk to! Overall we had a super holiday and would consider booking this hotel again in the future.More

Love Ovacik

We stayed here for a week in June, being a big fan of Turkey I have stayed in numerous places in the surrounding area, we loved Ovacik. You cant fault the staff, the weather was very good also the cleanliness at the Aes, but we were very disappointed, after travelling all day. Arriving at the hotel at 11.55pm we could not find anything to eat and drinks were payable because it was midnight. ???? All inclusive, also on the day of leaving we checked out early 9.30am so that our room could be cleaned, even though we where not being picked up for the airport until 6.00pm. Our AI bands were taken off us immediately, I have never experienced this before while staying in previous AI hotels. We have always told to leave the bands on until we were leaving, very disappointing as this all adds to the cost of your holiday.More
