Aes Club Hotel

With its contemporary looks and lively pool area, it’s no wonder the Aes Club Hotel recently bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

This place puts you in a handy spot, just 10 minutes’ walk from Hisaronu’s shops and bars. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus to Billy’s Beach on the famous Blue Lagoon.

The hotel’s doors open up to chic interiors. In the lobby, you’ll check in under the shimmer of a chandelier. Bedrooms, meanwhile, feature a contemporary colour scheme of cream and gold.

Well the Aes club. Lets get the little bad things out of the way first. To much concrete and shiny tiles every where. When wet turns it into your very own ice rink . One guest dislocated her knee when she fell. If you have issues with stairs or very steep ramps dont go. Read reports about the food being not very good and re-heats, well it certainly was not the hotel i ate in every night. we have been to numerous hotels in turkey and this was some of the best food we have ever had. Hot, great choice and plenty of it, even for so late in the season. Some of the most manerable staff i have meet and not pushy in the slightest. would i go there again, yes for sure but only later on in the season as i think it would be just to jam packed for our liking. The bar also served some cocktails on the all inc which was a pleasant surprise, not the norm. The beer must also have been good judging by the way some of the british guests sat there morning noon and night drinking { great holiday } very sad. If you have not been to turkey before think about this hotel as it would be a good starting block.More

More than you pay for!

I am sure you have read the other reviews. Firstly, remember you are in a foreign country and need to respect their cultural and dining differences to our own. Secondly, why expect everybody in this world to speak English. Don't forget visiting this hotel means you are in a different Continent. Learn some buzz Turkish words, believe me it is so appreciated. Finally, remember what you paid for your break and what you would really expect in return, value wise. Now for the facts. Breakfast. Have four courses. For instance 1. Yoghurt with fresh cherries. 2. Ham and cheese. 3. Fresh omelette or baked beans on toast with fried egg on top. 4. Assorted fresh melon. Now what is wrong there. Lunch...... whatever you want. Snacks .....whatever you want. Afternoon tea and cake ...........whatever you want. Dinner 1. A different soup every night. 2. Good mix of mezes or as we say, starters. Smoked salmon, cold platters.etc., etc. 3. Dinner always including meat and fish dish plus varied interesting and tasty veg sides. 4. Desserts to die for including baclava, cheesecake, fruits, cakes. Ample supply of tea and coffee. Also, a well stocked bar with staff that never say no to your requests. Rooms are very clean, comfortable with a free safe. Pool is clean with ample sun loungers. Staff are impeccable. Never a rude word, so long as you are not rude yourself. Always water in the room. Located in Ovacik with beautiful mountain scenery on all sides within a short dolmus journey from Olu Deniz and Fethiye. Historical Fethiye such a wonder of a harbour town to wander around at leisure or to cruise the islands particularly recommending Jerry Boat, the highlight of the waters.More

David R,

Fab Hotel!

Just returned from six days at the AES Club Hotel and suitably impressed with the staff, the hotel and location although bit disappointed with the food........appreciate its the end of the season and they have to cook to please the masses but put some Turkish food on the menu and some food with a bit of flavour! Amazing salad bar and puddings though! The hotel is lovely, amazing views into the mountains, a short walk up the hill to shops and restaurants and 10 minute walk to Hisaronu for more shops, restaurants, etc. Dolmus buses stop on the main road, up the hill from the hotel and cost a couple of TL to go to Fethiye or Olu Deniz. All the staff were cheerful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was by the pool and it's definitely worth taking ear plugs if you are in a room with a view of the pool as it can be loud until the early hours of the morning, if you're not planning on staying up that late. Rooms were serviced every day, towels and bed linen changed every few days. Water was restocked in the fridge every day. The room itself was a large room with a balcony and a lovely shower room, all of which was extremely clean and tidy, and fresh looking. The entertainment team were good, Leo & Tutu, always on the go during the day, evening entertainment was a bit slow but it's the end of the season and the weather isn't guaranteed so holding outdoor entertainment isn't a given. You must visit the Spa and have a Turkish Bath, the facilities were brilliant and the Spa staff were lovely and so helpful. Full body massages, back massages, face packs, the list was extensive and not expensive. The transfer time from Dalaman airport can take up to 1.5 hours due to other drop offs on route. All the staff were helpful, friendly and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble.I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, thank you for making our holiday a good one to remember!More
