With its contemporary looks and lively pool area, it’s no wonder the Aes Club Hotel recently bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Fantasic, cant wait to go back!

Just retuned from a week at this hotel, we arrived on the 4th of may with the hotel only opening on the 1st, all the staff were amazing, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was immaculately clean and the food in the restaurant was brilliant, with plenty of choice and fresh food cooked in front of you. We stayed in one of the 'attic' rooms which it was great with a very modern look and again very clean, we had a small fridge with bottled water replenished daily, the room was also cleaned and towels repalced daily. The only small negative for me was at 5'11'' I did bang my head once or twice because the ceiling is lower in places in the 'attic' room but im sure the other rooms are fine. We found plenty to do in the day with local shops, bars and resturants only being a 10 minuite walk away if you want them and water polo, pool volleyball and darts being played in the hotel. We decieded to stop in the hotel at night as the entertainment in the hotel was fantastic, with Mehmet, Ufuk, Ruhi and Damla doing a great job of getting everyone involed if you wanted to and creating a great holiday atmosphere. Overall we had a superb holiday in great hotel with great staff and great food. for the price we paid we couldnt get any better, we cant wait to go back!!More

Aes hotel

My wife and I arrived at the Aes on Monday the 4th of May as a last minute weeks break. I wasn't expecting anything special as just wanted to get away. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel, rooms are clean and spacious with air con, bottled water and a safe at no extra cost. As stated we arrived on the Monday and the hotel had just opened for the season 3 days previously, however you would never have known. If you wish to leave the hotel there are local areas nearby on the Dolmus bus which varies in price dependant on where you are going but the most we paid was 7 Lira !. Food is good and plentiful and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. I have a philosophy of never returning to a place twice as I wish to visit as many places as I can, however the Aes will be an exception and are looking to return in September. Give this hotel a visit you will not be disappointed. Special mention to Kirsty the Thomson rep just started working here but was great.More

Brilliant on a budget

4.5 / 5 My Boyfriend and I stayed at AES Club for a week last May and really enjoyed it. Hotel The hotel was great, the beds were comfy, there was plenty of space and there were tea/coffee facilities in the room. The tv worked well, MTV, american news channels, usual stuff. The hairdryer was fine and the aircon worked quickly. Sunbeds were comfortable and easy enough to come by even after a lie-in (although we did go outside school holidays). You will get asked to use the onsite spa facilities, but the guy can take a hint so only asked us over the first three days of our holiday then would only smile and say hello. Different to other places where if you dont buy they then pretend you don't exist. Something I do want to mention is when we first arrived the bed covers were still damp and the door to the balcony wouldn't lock. Being on the top floor and having a secluded balcony (none of this sharing with next door stuff) it wasn't a huge issue but I still mentioned it to reception. 10 minutes later someone brought up dry bedding and changed it, then just after breakfast the next day someone came and fixed the balcony lock. Both were very polite. These were the only small hiccups for our entire stay. Food We thought the food was brilliant, with a mix of hot, cold and vegetarian options available three times a day. I wasn't a fan of the deserts but there was enough variation for mains that I always felt full. We also liked the 'afternoon tea' available poolside which may only be a tray of biscuits and cakes but was a great thing to have to tide you over before dinner. The supper, which is provided as a serve-yourself, late in the evening was also perfect for our late arrival on the first night. Drinks This was one of the reasons we chose this hotel: full board drinks. The beer on tap is Efes and wine and spirits are available. You can go to the bar and ask for 'a cocktail' something I enjoyed doing as it means they will mix you a drink but you have no idea what you will get, once it had a very strong sambucca taste, the next time it was rum. They also have the usual fanta, sprite, coke etc at serve yourself stations in the restaurant and at the pool bar. These also had peach icetea and lemon icetea. You can also get tea, coffee and fruit juice(from concentrate). So everything is covered on the drinks front. Location It's set back off the main road so although it looks out of the way this made it nice and quiet (the only noise we'd here was the hotel entertainment or birds) and was only a 3 min walk to the nearest shop (if that) there were a few restaurants and stores on the main street. This street is also where you can catch the minibus-like bus service that runs regularly to Ovakic or to Hisaronu. All in all a fab hotel and amazing value for money. I've been on holidays where I've paid more for places that were not nearly as nice. So If you want a good hotel on a budget then AES is definitely worth considering.More
