Good location and very relaxed

A friend and I stayed here for 2 weeks from 7th August to the 21st. The hotel is about a 10 minute walked from Hisaronu in a quiet location. The hotel is near enough to walk to the bars and restaurants but luckily far enough away that you are not disturbed by the hustle and bustle. The hotel is also very clean. The maid cleaned our room every day and the communal areas of the hotel were cleaned on a regular basis. I have visited Turkey many times and stayed in a few All Inclusive hotels and I have to say that the food served at the Aes Club has got to have been the best I have had. I have also lived in Turkey and can confidently say that the food served at the Aes Club is very authentic Turkish cuisine. The staff at the Aes Club are all very friendly. The general manager is very helpful and she sorts out any issues quickly. The owner of the hotel is often around both during the day and the evening and spends time talking with customers to ensure they are having a good time. Finally, the Entertainment team consisting of Leo, Jolly, Jimmy and Tom are all extremely friendly and hardworking. Jolly who runs the kids club/ mini disco is amazing. I work in a school and I was extremely impressed with the way she entertained and looked after the children. To sum up, I was very happy with my visit to the Aes Club and I would definitely visit the hotel again.More

Good quality hotel situated up a hill 10 minutes walk from Hisironu. Rooms wereclean and well maintained with good air conditioning if you required. Food was above avaerage for an all inclusive and if nit picking a little repetative but all well prepared and presented. Always something available for eating - even if fussy. Entertainment team were excellent and helped ensure a happy and friendly environment throughout our stay. Inclusive spirits limited to vodka, brandy and gin. No white rum other than paying extra for branded. More

A good value hotel, great for all ages.

We have just returned from 10 days at the AES club. The hotel looks good and modern, the family attic room was spacious and clean with great air conditioning. There was a nice view of the pool and mountains. Shame there was no balcony and there was no chance of an early night as the evening entertainment can be heard word for word from the room, although that didn't really bother us. There is a fridge with water supplied every day although it's only cold when you are in the room as the electricity is activated by the key card! The towels were clean and fresh, bedding too. Our friends had an attic room too, slightly smaller but had an awful drain smell!! Located at the side of the hotel. The good was fine, fresh and a good choice, there were things cooked to order, omelettes at breakfast, pancakes etc.. Staff were nice and friendly. Bar was good, drinks plentiful, etc. We too were subject to the bug that swept the hotel.. We were all affected and there were 12 of us in total.. We believe someone brought a virus in and it spread .. Many people around the pool were discussing dioreah !!! It became some peoples obsession and I feel a bit unfairly, the hotel were blamed.. As we left we witnessed anti bac hand wash installed in the restaurant and staff rushing around with spray.. My feeling is that all those people discussing poo, sent their children into the pool too soon after illness! In the uk there are regulations regarding swimming after illness and they are there for a reason. It only takes one child to wipe carelessly!!! Sorry to be crude but that's my thoughts! Anyway, being British we didn't let it ruin our holiday, we had a lovely time, I did miss seeing the sea but the mountains were an amazing view. Hisaronu was like Blackpool, cheesy but fun, olu deniz, and the 12 island boat trip are worth it. The water park is basic, a bit scummy around the edges but the kids loved it!! Overall, despite illness a very nice place to stay and I don't think it's their fault!More

ClaireG1973,

Still feel sick!! Don't go!!

Just got home from 1 week at the aes hotel in oudinez as a party of 3. We arrived at 4am and we're seen by a very nice man, who understood we were tired and sorted everything very quickly, another man then took our bags to our room. When arriving at our room first impressions were it was a bit small, but very clean and tidy. However the balcony area is tiny. It has 2 chairs and it's a tight squeeze. The hotel itself was very clean, always tidy and we'll looked after. Everyday the fridge in the room is filled with bottled water. Which is very handy and very good. The weather is extremely hot, so make sure you take a lot of sun cream. One day it was 48 degrees!! It's about a 20 minute fast walk into hissaranu, which is a lovely town and at night the street is closed to cars so all people can walk down the road. There are plenty of taxi stops and it's 10 lira back to the hotel which is about £3. Very cheap shops too! A downside to this hotel is there are no soft drinks to help yourself to, you have to constantly ask the bar staff for a lemonade or coke. The glasses are also very small so make sure you ask for a big one! The food is a let down to say the least, the chefs do try very hard but it's pretty much the same all the time. The rice is very nice and so is the cheese and bread, but apart from that the food is a massive no no. When you sit down in the restaurant you get offered drinks straight away which they will bring over to your table we'll some of them. 'Servant' is a very nice Man, he always asks if you want anything else. The workers are all lovely, very nice and make you feel very welcome. Easy to get along with and do their job very we'll. The animation team are excellent, they are all very nice and funny. They do try and make you join in, in the activities but at no push. They are brilliant with children and actually seem like they enjoy their job which is great. Massive we'll done to, Leo, Jimmy, Tom and Jolly. The wifi is very good considering the amount of people who use it. It is avaliable in the lobby, at the bar and sometimes next to the pool. However..... There was a bug going around the hotel at the time we were there. It was clearly very easily caught as most of the hotel were sick. This is probably down to the food or the sanitation. This made all 3 of us very ill. Still ill now. This was not acceptable and spoilt our whole holiday. So we will not be returning. Overall it is a nice hotel, we thought it was clean and tidy, but obviously not due to the sickness. More

Another Great Holiday

We stayed here in June 2013 and returned for 14nts from July 19th 2014. Having had such a great time last year I was concerned that the hotel standards would have fallen. On arrival we learned that the entertainment team had changed and so had the management team and I was told that the food was not as good as the previous year. Ignore all of that!!!!! Well all I can say is that the Leo and the entertainment team were superb, you could take part in the daytime activities if you wished and they are a great team and some of the evening entertainment and the acts were real professional shows. The management were excellent and were constantly overseeing the operation. The manageress showed real attentiveness and I think this also reflected in the attitude of most of the staff. Finally I know every one has different preferences when it comes to food however I thought the food was fantastic and even better than last year. The main restaurant for lunch included extensive hot dishes but I thought the salad bar at lunch time was ideal. The food at dinner was also lovely. As with all buffets most people pile their plates high and are finished within 10 mins and then complain that the food is the same. I would not expect to go to a restaurant and and have fish and meat on one plate and be out in ten minutes so why do people do this on holiday??? The food at the AES is different every night, the soups are the best soups I have ever had. The little guy making the fresh pittas every night is excellent and although I am not a dessert fan there is a really good range of pastries and cakes, custards etc. In general this hotel exceeded our expectations and was actually better than last year and to see our little 8 year old boy crying when we had to leave summed up what a fantastic time we had at the AES Club. Thanks to every one for making our stay so good!More
