Villa Eda

The quiet hamlet of Atakoy is just a few kilometres from the peaceful resort of Akyaka, renowned for its river restaurants, quaint beach and forests. This comfortable stone built villa was lovingly constructed by Coskun and is named after his young granddaughter Eda. It is a perfect holiday home for families or couples who love serenity and nature. This stone built villa is set in 5,000 square metres of fruit gardens, with trees such as peach, apricot, kiwi and orange to name a few; the aroma of the jasmine-like flowers of the orange and lemon trees wafts through the house and you can pick your own fruit.
The house is one storey and very peaceful and spacious, with a traditional feel to it. Hand-woven curtains, cool tiled floors and rustic furniture immediately make you feel at home, and the sitting room patio doors open out on the pool area which has great views of the countryside. Steps lead down to a sunbathing area with the trees giving natural shade when needed.
From the spacious seating area you can enjoy the panorama of rolling hills and the feeling of space, with the tops of the trees in the endless orchards stretching out as far as the eye can see.
Coskun and his wife, Ingrid, live in a nearby house and are on hand for any extra information about the area, and shops and restaurants are all a 10 minute drive away. The nearest mini-market is in Atakoy itself so you can relax around the pool until you run out of essentials and then stroll along to the shop for what you need.
