Villa Lavanta

Tucked in a villa complex on the hillside above the Yahsi Valley, this villa is a world away from the holiday hordes. In fact with nothing more than a few other villas for company, locations don't get much better than this. Sweeping valley scenery. Fabulous sea views. There are a few shops and restaurants in Yahsi and Gurece and it's all pretty close to Bodrum, too. You really get the best of both worlds here – a serene holiday dream that's far from being cut off.
With the location covered, what about the villa itself? The first thing you'll notice is the unusual design. A stretched L-shape, it curves around a corner of the pool. And then there's the annexe. The third bedroom is completely separate to the main house and is right on the edge of the pool. So not only is there plenty of space but you've got privacy by the bucket-load too – especially when you add three ensuite bathrooms to the mix.
The other two bedrooms are on the first floor above the open-plan living area and kitchen, and come complete with their own balconies. The decor is all contemporary soft creams with dark wood furniture making it a cheerful and airy haven to retreat to at the end of a long, sun-soaked day.
But, of course, the real beauty of this place is the pool. Sheltered on two sides by the house and the annexe, it really packs a punch on the privacy front. It's perfect for some serious sun-drenched downtime. Pick a sunlounger, flick off your flip flops and enjoy.
