If you’re seeking a super friendly hotel with a first-class service, the Serpina will charm the flip-flops off you.
This hotel has a winning location. It’s just a matter of minutes to get to the beach and its seafront restaurants. You’re equally close to shop and bars, and Bar Street itself is 10 minutes’ walk away tops.
The pool is a pretty good size and there’s a separate pool for children alongside it. Plus the bar here offers a shaded spot for lunch. Talking of food, there’s a restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

This was our first time in turkey and I must admit I couldn't have booked a better hotel, its a great base to explore from it only took us 25 minutes to walk to bodrum from here, its a small hotel rooms basic but clean the staff especially lucky and engine were so friendly and helpful.I would recommend staying here to anyone as I am writing this my wife is booking for here next year cant wait to get back.Thank you to the hotel serpina for a lovely relaxing holidayMore
Mark Anthony F,
Stayed at this hotel Great quiet hotel situated at the far end of Gumbet Located about 2 min walk from the start of the shops and 5 mins from the beach through the side st next to the Columbia Clean basic hotel and rooms get cleaned every other day Pool area was great size and quiet But Gumbet is very quiet this year Bit of a trek to here from Chico bar or Bar St through the barrage of shop owners All in all good hotel for a great price and would I stay there again Yes If I couldn't get into the Nagi beach hotelMore
Lovely area and great service
Thank you to all the staff members at Hotel Serpina for making our week in Gumbet a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the whole crew went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay, and any problems were solved quickly and effectively. ......... are a few of the individuals who deserve mention for excellent service. The hotel itself is situated only 5 minutes away from the seafront and market, and so the busy street-life is easily accessible whilst still providing a place to relax in a peaceful environment. The area offers plenty of activities to do in the daytime - boat trips, snorkelling, water-sports and day trips to attractions such as Ephesus and Dalyan. By night the seafront livens up with bars and clubs, and the hotel also provides entertainment such as the Turkish Night. They serve Turkish-style meals, and also accommodate for vegetarian diets.. I would definitely recommend visiting Hotel Serpina in Gumbet and hope to be coming back soon.More
Enjoyable and excellent
I can not thank the staff at the hotel for making our holiday so brilliant. Went above and beyond, next holiday is being book for October in the next month. Barman 'lucky' is one hell of a guy. Everyone is so welcoming and alway smiling. Hotel is in a perfect location close to shops and the beach but not so close your near the noise to the night life. Food & Drink is so good and priced fairly. Room clean but would say having the air con is a must. Does get extremely hot so plenty of sun cream, even with factor 30 on I burnt. Also recommend a Turkish bath on the 1st or 2nd day for a great tan. All in all I would happily return to the hotel but maybe if longer 😁 thank you to all the staff for the best holiday.More
Standards are slipping
This was our seventh visit to the Serpina in eight years and unfortunately I am starting to see standards slipping. With the exception of one of the managers, the staff are fantastic, Ted Engin Lucky and the bar staff are all great guys, the other joint manager,I find extremely hard work, he even lied about being an owner to one customer who had a complaint to make, sloping shoulders springs to mind, he would only ever talk to the "locals".One issue that did upset me, was that permission was granted to a guy with a drone fitted with a camera who was constantly flying over the pool area and apparently looking into bedrooms for what ever reason. He was politely told to stop but continued the next day. I probably over reacted as the air turned blue. the management really need to manage instead of scampering away. The hotel is starting to look a little tatty, cracked sinks etc, pool bins not emptied, overgrown trees in front of some rooms, signs that need replacing, but on a positive, the staff are great, the rooms are nice and clean and food is super. Will probably go back, but not for a while.More
