This beachfront resort comes with 4 swimming pools, 6 restaurants, and a stylish bar designed by Philip Treacy.
Sensatori Resort Sorgun’s biggest selling point is its location. It’s right on a gold-sand beach, and just footsteps from a 400-hectare forest. Just so you know, this place used to be known as Sensatori Resort Turkey.
You can choose from 4 swimming pools, and take your pick from activities like tennis, pilates and watersports. There’s just as much choice when it comes to dining. The resort's 6 restaurants showcase national dishes, gourmet cuisine, and everything in between.
Designer Philip Treacy was the brains behind the resort's Butterfly Bar. Here, you can sip a Sensatori Mystery – vodka, sparkling wine, cherry juice and strawberry – in a funky booth, while looking up at a rainbow of hanging baubles. Read more ››

We was at this hotel in July and absolutely loved it. We booked an adults area room with whirlpool bath and as you can see in the photos, this was beautiful. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Well and truly pampered. Thomson reps always available, and very knowledgeable about the area. We have been in many 5* hotels, usually in the Caribbean and Mexico, but this hotel is the best we have ever stayed in. We got home 2 weeks ago and thinking of booking again for September. Thank you to all staff at this hotel for a truly amazing holiday. Hopefully see you very soon, Garry and Karen from Sheffield.More
Even better than last year!
After staying at this hotel last year there was no doubt that we wanted to return. Last year we found the staff, facilities and service to be outstanding. This year our expectations were extremely high but Sensatori Sorgun did not disappoint! In fact it was fantastic to see how the hotel takes reviews so seriously and has actually made a number of improvements. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, beds comfortable with plenty of pillows. It was lovely to have bath robes and slippers. There are tea and coffee making facilities, the minibar is stocked daily and staff keep the room clean and tidy. Air conditioning was excellent and shower nice and powerful. We tried many of the restaurants, all which had excellent food and outstanding service. There was always excellent choices at the buffet restaurants, including a children's sections which meant there were not children running in and out of the adult guests. The al a carte restaurants also had an excellent choice and tried hard to accommodate a member of our party with a food allergy. All food in the buffet restaurant were clearly marked with food allergens. It would be even better if the menus for the al a carte restaurants had this same coding as that would make choosing a suitable meal easier. All staff could not do enough for you constantly keeping drinks topped up and chatting politely asking how your day had been. It was lovely to see some of the staff from last year and we were amazed that they recognised us after a year of seeing thousands of travelers! In our opinion the Safron (Turkish) Restaurant was the best with mushroom casserole and lamb shank to die for! It was lovely to be invited to a barbecue on the last night. This was a nice touch but it was disappointing that this meant we missed our last evening in the buffet restaurant. In our opinion this might be something we might miss next time as we did feel that although staff had worked hard to make the night special, it did not meet the amazing standards of the Divan Buffet! Maybe this might have been nicer if this had been a lunchtime/afternoon gathering! The pool areas are delightful. We spent most time around the adult only pool where there were always spare loungers throughout the day so no need to be up at the crack of dawn to get one. Also plenty of umbrellas to keep you in the shade. The pool bar staff were again fantastic and it was lovely this year to have waiter service around the pool. It was also great to have access to pool towels by the pools and on the beach. We loved the idea we could help ourselves to ice cold water from the fridge too! The beach was again lovely. Clean and well kept. The beach bar was lovey for lunch and Gosleme House was great for an afternoon snack. By far our favourite day was hiring a cabana for 50 euros. This was such a relaxing day with service from the delightful waiter which could not be faulted. All bars were fantastic and offer a great range of drinks including some of the top brands. I know my husband will miss his pint of cider when we go back in a few weeks but there is a lot of choice so can not really complain! The cocktails are also fantastic with a good range of choices to suit everyone! The live entertainment was good, particularly the Ed Sheeran tribute, but we did feel that there was a lacking of a more livelier scene which would have been nice in the adult bar later in the evenings. We felt that the music was very repetitive and whilst we understand there needs to be variety, it was a little strange going from an 80s classic to Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire!! The barman did try hard to keep us happy by skipping certain tracks but a disco would be a fantastic addition! The Turkish bath was a lovely treat to start our holiday and we did pay for a massage which was fantastic but a little pricey! Again the staff were great. The gym was well equipped and fitness program was also varied and well led by professional staff. As you can tell this is really a special hotel. After two visits with my family I just can't wait to take my husband there in a few weeks. After many cruises I think I've finally found a hotel that matches the cruise quality, food and service. Thank you to everyone at Sensatori Resort Sorgun. I look forward to seeing you again soon and next year!More
Chilled out holiday
Just returned today from another brilliant sensatori holiday. Thomson have hit the nail on the head with these hotels. It's the 3rd sensatori hotel we've visited. This one is a bit different to Crete and Tenerife in the sense that it feels a little more laid back. It was very busy when we were there but this didn't seem to phase the staff. They were all really helpful. Starting with the flight out with Freebird Airlines. Please don't worry if you're flying with these. They were brilliant. The plane was clean, the staff spoke good English and they were so lovely. All the kids on the flight even got a free Freebird frisbee, which our son loved! The hotel is an hour away from the airport if you go by coach. We noticed a lot doing private transfers, which we would definitely do next time as the coach coming back was full and we all got split up on there. Check in at the hotel was really quick, there was a lovely buffet table with cold drinks and cold towels. Our room also had fresh sandwiches in there for us and the minibar was fully stocked for our arrival. First impressions, if you want to get round the family pool, you need to be up sharpish to get a decent sun bed. All beds had towels on to reserve by about 8.15 every day. If you're heading to the beach, there's loads of beds on there and Omar the beach attendant is fantastic. Beach cabanas are 50 Euro for the day. Well worth it. Beautiful position on the beach just for you. Waiter service to bring you all your drinks and meals at the cabana. There's a nice chilled bottle of fizz, fresh fruit and water to greet you when you get there. Very relaxing! If you're a bit more active, then there's loads of things going in throughout the day like archery, tennis, football, aqua aerobics, circuit training, volley ball, kids clubs etc. Restaurants are great. It's well worth paying the supplement of 20 Euro to go to the steak house. Delicious food and good service. The Turkish restaurant is delicious and good service too. The Italian never seemed to be overly busy. The food was good but the staff weren't as organised as in the other restaurants. The buffet is fabulous with different themes on each evening. The food is so good! Oh, and I can't forget the patisserie were you can escape from the midday sun and get yourself a yummy cake or three and a nice coffee. Great shop on site if you want to grab a bargain. You can get designer bags and purses from about £40 and you can pay in sterling. Couldn't really fault this hotel. My only advise is on your return journey, have patience at the airport. We had to que for almost an hour before they opened check in. Then we had no time to visit duty free as we had little time to get through all the security procedures. Literally straight on the plane. Also if you book your seats, don't expect to get those seats on your return flight. All of ours got changed around as Antalya airport staff said they have no record for reserved seats on their systems for any airline. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. Fab holiday, would definitely go back! More
Super service - even in the buffet restaurant....and the cleaning staff are great!
At the buffet restaurant, go sit outside where Serdar Yalgioner is doing his very best to ensure you have a great experience.... He has the overview of all tables and is always in a great mood.... 5 stars for him! The two ladies cleaning our flor (we were in room 2425) did a superb job too. Not only was the room always clean - they always smiled at our children and left a small selfmade surprise for them in the room. That is taking great service to the next level! Thanks for a super holiday! Trine / DenmarkMore
