Giving it an overall rating out of 5:
"This hotel ticks all the right boxes – it’s central, it’s by the beach, and it’s got a vintage vibe few hotels can match."
This place has a desirable address. Snug in the old part of town, it’s wrapped in ancient city walls that harbour the best bits of Antalya. It’s great for history-lovers and anyone who’s got romance in mind. Plus, the beach is virtually on the doorstep, too.
The hotel itself was once three houses that have been cleverly moulded into one. With its whitewashed walls, dark-wood trimmings and ornate balconies, it’s got a really pretty exterior.
Inside, meanwhile, the décor is opulent without being over the top. Think antique furniture, high ceilings and chandeliers. The bedrooms have a colour scheme that revolves around rich oranges and reds. They’re more cosy than roomy, but the huge windows and great views more than compensate for the tight fit.
As for the pool scene, it’s a chic affair. The pool itself is built so one Side is made of glass, looking down onto the terrace below. Plump-cushioned loungers are a great place to watch the world go by, and the pool bar means you’re never far from a bite to eat. Completing the line-up is the restaurant. You can sit inside, but we’d recommend going al fresco every time. Soft piano music provides the soundtrack, while the harbour lights twinkle in the distance.
