The Hillside Su Hotel is contemporary five star luxury at its best. All chic, minimalist style with a hint of futuristic design, it does paired-down elegance straight out of a photo shoot. Set next to Konyaatli beach, it’s in a great setting.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a vast lobby. Decorated with huge mirror balls, pockets of subtle neon lighting and comfy, modern sofas, it’s a location-scout’s dream. Look upwards and you’ll see this atrium reveals the full height of the hotel.

Bedrooms are spacious and a canvas of cool white. And instead of colour, it’s all about texture. Think large, beds on polished white floors and sleek, cubist coffee tables and soft sofas. Big wall-mounted mirrors reflect light, and large glass doors lead on to a private balcony complete with double bed. Plus, there are extras like satellite TV, air-conditioning/heating and a maxibar filled with 120 products.

Outside, the pool area is impressive. Cue a huge rectangular pool complete with underwater music. Comfy sunloungers-come-beds set beneath wicker parasols. And there’s a pool bar, too. It’s all wrapped up in cool teak sundecks, pristine lawns and swathes of blue sky. Step down to the beach and you’ll find big white beanbags, cream parasols and a beach bar, too.

Food-wise, you’ve got four restaurants – Italian, Mediterranean, Sushi and an international/Turkish eatery, too. Breakfast is served buffet-style, while you can opt for à la carte lunch and dinners. Expect more of the same funky design. Think brown cubist chairs, privet hedges and sleek table settings in the sushi restaurant.

And as for facilities, there are plenty. You’ve got a spa that boasts signature treatments including the four-hands and aromatic nutrition massage. Plus treatments like body polishes and seaweed skin tonics. And there’s a Turkish bath and spa bath, too. You’ve also got a host of sporting facilities like tennis, squash and aerobics plus access to Aqualand next door.
