Beaches
Just west of the city centre is a glorious sand and pebble beach with watersports to suit the keenest water babies. Not far are three ancient sites, which demand exploration: Perge, a Greek settlement founded in 1000BC that still features a massive horseshoe-shaped stadium; Aspendos, a hilltop Roman town with an a 20, 000 seat theatre; and the ancient city of Phaselis, home to the world's longest Roman aqueduct.
