This is by far not the best hotel I have stayed in, but it's also not the worst. As people have said, it's average. There is currently building works going on which apparently started early and looks like they have nearly finished. This didn't effect our holiday. It did make the quieter pool busier, but there was still room. Like any hotel abroad with a pool, if you want a good sun lounger spot you need to be down there at the butt crack of dawn! Not sure which pool is meant to be heated I went in both and neither of them were. Still nice and refreshing though. The food again, average. Not the best, but not the worse. There's a snack bar open most the day by the busier pool too. The bar is a bit of a joke, way too small and at night it's bloody busy!! The entertainment in all fairness was rubbish, they appeared to sing the same crap every night so after a couple of nights we didn't bother again. But could hear it from our room. The room we had was decent. We were in 469 at the front of the hotel, it was a decent size and had air con. There are loads of rooms that over look the quiet pool and at night with the entertainment they probably got no sleep for hours!! The worse thing I will say about the hotel is the French! Now I hate the cheese eating surrender monkeys at the best of times, but God they think they own the place here!! They have their own entertainment every night for a couple of hours. As you expect with the frogs, they are bloody rude too. The amount of times I said excuse me to get by them and they didn't move was a joke so I just pushed my way through and then got dirty looks! They also has a habit of coming to the pool at 8, setting up about 15 sunbeds and then never coming back. The life gaurd got annoyed everytime and always put them back. In all, if you can get this hotel for a good price book it. But there are nicer looking ones around. We got this holiday on the cheap last minute through Thompson, so I'm not complaining, I've enjoyed it. But I wouldn't return, in fairness I probably wouldn't return to Tenerife again. I've been a few times to various places now and Gran Canaria is much nicer. More

We recently visited this hotel through Thomsons (end May 2017). In fairness we got the holiday at a very good price for two weeks all inclusive. It's actually quite hard to write a review as I would say that everything was very average. It is a 3 star hotel and I would suggest that's about right in terms of amenities. My husband and I travelled with a large party and it was clear that depending on your room and whether you had children, made a big difference to whether the holiday was good or bad. My husband and I had a great room by the quiet pool and bar, however there was a lot of building work going on around the hotel which meant that the pool with entertainment was restricted in terms of room, so most people came to the quiet pool to get away from the drilling noise. Kind of defeated the object. We had to be up and out by 7.30 to secure our beds. The food wasn't bad although after the first week it all became rather repetative and there was little or no choices for children every day. The children within our party spent 2 weeks eating chips. We often went out to eat for a bit of variety and that meant spending a bit more than most of our party wanted to. So nothing major that was really negative for me and my husband, but nothing really positive either. Would I go back - then the answer would be noMore
So sad to read all the negative reviews this place has. Yes there was some work going on (our room overlooked this) but it didn't affect our holiday to be honest- work was done in the day and we were out enjoying the pools. Great choice of pools, we mainly stayed by the main pool with the entertainment. The entertainment team we fab, a very lovely bunch of people. My daughter loved Maria and still talks about her now ~ thank you Maria for making Rebecca's holiday so special. As a family we took part in many activities throughout the week. There was golf, darts, table tennis, boules, water polo, water volley ball, Zumba and more. The kids enjoyed every minute on resort. We the food lovely and fresh, always a good variety. Great selection of drinks too. The hotel and rooms were spotless, it's an extremely clean hotel. Lovely team of groundsman, cleaners, waiters etc.. all very friendly. Margaret the thomson rep is great and has lots of local knowledge. Overall we loved our holiday and would return in a second if we could.More
Practice you're French and eat before you go!
The majority of the staff were wonderful, especially Charlotte on the front desk - very helpful. The room we were in, 364, was very clean, spacious (even though there were 5 of us in there!) and well equipped. Overlooked the quieter pool but was loud at night due to the bar but the bedroom is at the other side so it did not disturb the baby. Positives over I'm afraid! Food was adequate at best, we ended up with chips with everything just to make sure we had eaten, couldn't wait to get a meal out!! There was work being done not only around the pool which caused everyone to cram in but also painting etc in reception which made it stink and also was a bit unsafe for the children with ladders etc around Entertainment - mediocre, unless you're French then fabulous! British clearly left out of everything and even though the entertainment staff seemed nice enough they never acknowledged us or tried to get us to join in, only the French which was very off putting. Quiet but very pretty location, not much to do - would highly recommend San Francisco restaurant around the corner, food and staff amazing! Very good prices too! The Outside Inn and Francys bar were also great with lovely staff and good drinks, the strawberry daiquiri in Francys in to die for! I would return to the area but not the hotel! I would advise to avoid!More
