With a good location, five swimming pools, and a lively entertainment scene, this place is spot on for families. The apartments are a good size, too. It's also bagged a nice and central spot, so shops, bars, and restaurants are on hand.
These apartments are in a great spot for getting out and about. They’re just a five-minute walk from the nearest shops, restaurants and bars, and ten minutes from the centre of Puerto de Santiago. What’s more, Puerto Santiago or Playa la Arena Beach is less than a five-minute drive away, so it’s easy to fit in some time on the sand. If you want to explore the rest of Tenerife, meanwhile, buses run from the centre of town.
Back at the apartments, most of the action takes place around the pools. There are five of them here, including two for little ones. They’re all bordered by palms, loungers and parasols, and a thatched pool bar offers up drinks and snacks throughout the day. You can expect plenty in the way of pool-based games, too, like water polo and aqua aerobics. Elsewhere, there’s darts, boules and archery.
When it comes to mealtimes, ‘choice’ is the watchword. The restaurant has a buffet set up, and in the mornings you can look forward to the likes of cooked breakfasts, pastries with a selection of jams and marmalades. For lunch and dinner, international favourites like pizza and spaghetti bolognaise sit alongside fish and rice dishes.
Lastly, a word on entertainment. This place has two bars, so you’re all set for after-dinner cocktails. If you want to up the pace a little, though, head over to the lounge area – there’s entertainment here most nights, with quizzes, cabaret shows and karaoke all on the agenda.

Value for money
We have just come back from here had an excellent time went self catering but we also used the all inclusive a couple of nights quite good deals on this once you are there. The apartments and whole area was spotless we will definitely go back. There are some bars and restaurants down the road all selling good food, there is a bar in the courtyard that has live music absolutely brilliant and extremely well mannered. Also there is a nice walk into Gigantes takes about 10mins once there, there are some great bars and down by the harbour there is a small bar/restaurant called Barroquitoes they are a very nice couple and sell mugs of tea and coffee also their food is very good. If you walk the other way you will then come to puerto les arena also a very nice place and again only takes about 10mins. All in all an excellent place to go. playa des Americas is about 2 hours away and the bus stops at nearly every town so a bit of a trek. The only complaint we have is when paying for the wine in the evening club we was given the same as that of those paying for fully inclusive and it was undrinkable disgusting stuff!!!More

16 day stay jan/feb ,older hotel kept very clean-food varied and enjoyable -area very hilly and beaches with black sand rather dismal but as expected -dolphin watching trip good .we got what we wanted -relaxing a relaxing holiday in sunshine , value for money - but the best feature of this hotel was the friendly attitude of ALL staffMore

I took my mother and grandmother to Tenerife and we found Tamaimo Tropical. We got a tiny little room with one bed for us 3 and it was bugs and blood in the bedsheets so we got new sheets but they where so dirty! The food is probably the worst in the world and the smell was so bad! We bought all inclusive for more then 400 euros and we could only eat one night there but only potatoes so we ended up eating on some restaurants instead and they couldn't do anything for us in the reception except one girl from Amsterdam! She was very helpful and basically saved our stay there.More
Hjálmar Forni S,
Value for money stay
We went here and were solely looking for a lower budget stay as our priority was for little one to have things to do and decent pools.First of all the transfer from south airport took around 2 hours and stops everywhere prior to the hotel. We went self catering knowing there was an option to go all inclusive when there. We chose that straight away at 135 euros for 3 people for 4 days worked out very cheap. The room was quite a trek from reception and not very easy to find as it takes a while to navigate round the place. The room was quite basic and in need of a spruce up but due to what we paid it was fine. Our(and all) the beds are single and don't connect so not possible for a double bed and not ideal if you want to get cozy. After the first night we both woke up in extreme pain. The mattress and bed were in poor state and had to tell reception about it. They sent up brand new mattresses instantly and these were far better. The food in general is very good with plenty options and seriously if you can't find something nice you are just fussy. The pool area is clean as is the rest of hotel and the staff work hard to make sure its a good experience for you. The area is lovely with local shops and nice restaurants and close to coast although nearest beach is quite a trek. Ok, the room was basic and had issues with shower and ants when we went self catering and brought food in but reception sorted this out too with free breakfast for the rest of stay. On a whole we got all inclusive for 4 days, breakfast remaining 3 days and room for around £420 for 3 of us which is outstanding value for money. If you want luxury in Tenerife you will have to spend far more than that but would recommend the hotel if you are on a budget.More
Nice break away
Firstly after reading a few reviews I was a little worried.... However we arrived at the hotel was greeted warmly by reception , allocated rooms 136/137 overlooking the quieter pool. Rooms where, very spacious and great if you have children as they have space to play. Basic and clean the apts are self catering with 2 ring hob and microwave oven. Pools where both clean and surrounding area was pleasant great a gain for children. Small issue with the showers, pressure and temperature of water was a little crazy, but sorted it after a few attempts. We stayed all inclusive and really the food was much better than I had anticipated following previous reviews, fresh and plenty of choice so long as you went in early. Kid club was great and the animations team worked hard, entertainment every night along with mini disco for the kids. Location was good but not for anybody with walking difficulties, small quiet resort with just a few bars and restaurants so good for a short breaks. Overall a great break away and we would return...More
