These apartments are in a great spot for getting out and about. They’re just a five-minute walk from the nearest shops, restaurants and bars, and ten minutes from the centre of Puerto de Santiago. What’s more, Puerto Santiago or Playa la Arena beach is less than a five-minute drive away, so it’s easy to fit in some time on the sand. If you want to explore the rest of Tenerife, meanwhile, buses run from the centre of town.
Back at the apartments, most of the action takes place around the pools. There are five of them here, including two for little ones. They’re all bordered by palms, loungers and parasols, and a thatched pool bar offers up drinks and snacks throughout the day. You can expect plenty in the way of pool-based games, too, like water polo and aqua aerobics. Elsewhere, there’s darts, boules and archery.
When it comes to mealtimes, ‘choice’ is the watchword. The restaurant has a buffet set up, and in the mornings you can look forward to the likes of cooked breakfasts, pastries with a selection of jams and marmalades. For lunch and dinner, international favourites like pizza and spaghetti bolognaise sit alongside fish and rice dishes.
Lastly, a word on entertainment. This place has two bars, so you’re all set for after-dinner cocktails. If you want to up the pace a little, though, head over to the lounge area – there’s entertainment here most nights, with quizzes, cabaret shows and karaoke all on the agenda.

the good the bad and the ugly
We were here for the whole of February escaping the vagaries of the Scottish weather and have a somewhat mixed review of this BUDGET aparthotel. Despite the fact we were staying for 4 weeks we were lodged in a 2 bedroom apartment wityh a view of the apartments across the street and no bath.Halfway through the holiday we were woken early by tradesmen removing baths from the rooms below and after a few mornings of extreme noise and disruption asked to be moved to a quieter location. This was a blessing for though we lost the second bedroom, which i all honesty we did not use we were allocated a larger more modern one bedroom apartment with bath and shower away from the plumbers power tools. We were on self catering and ate out most of the time at night.TIP...The nearby restuarants all serve the same stuff, however a 3 euro taxi ride to Los Gigantes or Playa la Arena increases choice to International cuisine and real Tapas. We ate in the aparthotel a few times by paying 13 euros each for themed dinner and free breakfast next morning. If you dont mind hot plated buffet food it was average. If you do want to upgrade to all inclusive the normal 32 euros a day is usually reduced to around 250 euros a week for 2 people...at least we could have done so but decided against it as the food and wine are not fantastic.Entertainment was not great.More

Literally just back a day , my cousin recommended this hotel so we booked but when I decided to investigate on tripadvisor I wont lie my heart was in my mouth with people saying ants and cockroaches everywhere and dirty. So as you can imagine i was expecting the worst, in the whole week I saw 2 cockroaches thank god and our apt was on ground floor near the quieter pool 184 but we weren't quiet lol. We ate breakfast there twice it was nice there is a selection for everyone. Entertainment wise was good but we preferred to go to local bars as we weren't inclusive and didn't fancy drinking out of plastic cups for the night our preference.. Also good location as you can walk and see nice views but trust me its a workout but worth it.. Apts need a good painting just to freshen the place up plus acc staff came every day nearly and were helpful. Defo will be back.More

3 star value
I recently stayed here for one week, booked at the last minute, wasn't expecting great things but this hotel is really well organised, our room was spacious and beds were really comfy, our room overlooked the pool area which is very nice, tall palms, birds and a bridge leading to the bar, very pretty. The resteraunt is very good with a good choice of food which was always well presented and freshly prepared. The best thing about the restaurant is the wonderful welcome from Carlos the manager who is very chalming and attentive and has the most endearing smile! Watch out ladies!!!! We called him Mateo, and we definitely saw Madge too!! Take the hotel for what it is and you'll have a great time Gill from LeedsMore

Good budget holiday
I'm glad I didn't read previous reviews and get scared off because we had a great holiday! We had a one bedroom apartment. It was clean and was kept clean each day. Comfy beds. Sofa bed not so much but bearable for a short stay. We were self catered so never ate at the hotel- great little restaurants and bars within walking distance. The pools and pool areas were great! Early birds get the best sun beds. (I think this needs sorting out- hotel should stick to their rules!) We were in a busy area and it was very noisy in the mornings - but I blame noisy guests shouting! Not the hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful with giving us ideas of what to do and how to get there. Free wi fi in the reception area. Any extras cost extra- safe, tv, iron extra so be prepared for that. We would return to Tamaimo and would recommend to all. More
Clean, great staff & great choice of food
Having never been all inclusive before I was a little bit dubious as to what I would find when we booked a very last minute 3 star hotel, but I was really pleasantly surprised. Although we had booked a one bedroom apartment, as it was the only thing available, on arrival we were able to upgrade to a 2 bedroom which was far more convenient having gone away with our 2 teenage daughters. Our first nights sleep wasn't great as we were freezing. The girls had blankets but we just had a sheet & a thin cover, plus every time we moved the bed head knocked against the wall. However this was remedied by some creative positioning of socks over the bed head and we were given 2 blankets when we requested them the next day. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice of cereals, fresh & dried fruit, yogurt, meat, cheese, pastries & bread plus all the usual cooked items. This was also echoed at lunch and in the evening. We got quite creative( again) & ordered a chicken breast from the BBQ by the pool then went & grabbed some salad and took it back out to eat outside in the sun. We didn't go in the pools as they looked a bit cold but were happy to sunbathe by them and the atmosphere was nice & family orientated. We were driven a bit mad by Karen - our sun care specialist who lectured us everyday - loudly, with a microphone next to the pool. Otherwise my only other complaint would be that the drinks were on the whole not great, even the coffee was rotten, although the hefty measures of gin were quite nice! Although we were all inclusive we went out for our evening meal quite a few times as the local restaurants were very reasonable - a particular favourite was the San Francisco where Oscar the waiter was hysterical. All in all a good choice for a last minute trip.More
