These apartments are in a great spot for getting out and about. They’re just a five-minute walk from the nearest shops, restaurants and bars, and ten minutes from the centre of Puerto de Santiago. What’s more, Puerto Santiago or Playa la Arena beach is less than a five-minute drive away, so it’s easy to fit in some time on the sand. If you want to explore the rest of Tenerife, meanwhile, buses run from the centre of town.
Back at the apartments, most of the action takes place around the pools. There are five of them here, including two for little ones. They’re all bordered by palms, loungers and parasols, and a thatched pool bar offers up drinks and snacks throughout the day. You can expect plenty in the way of pool-based games, too, like water polo and aqua aerobics. Elsewhere, there’s darts, boules and archery.
When it comes to mealtimes, ‘choice’ is the watchword. The restaurant has a buffet set up, and in the mornings you can look forward to the likes of cooked breakfasts, pastries with a selection of jams and marmalades. For lunch and dinner, international favourites like pizza and spaghetti bolognaise sit alongside fish and rice dishes.
Lastly, a word on entertainment. This place has two bars, so you’re all set for after-dinner cocktails. If you want to up the pace a little, though, head over to the lounge area – there’s entertainment here most nights, with quizzes, cabaret shows and karaoke all on the agenda.

great people very poor apartment
We went there for 7 nights with JET2 Holidays, everything fine until we got to our first room, (510) the inside passage to the room flooded due to rain, (bad drainage) inside the room needed an overhaul,a toilet that constantly run, a small shower, corner entry too small to turn, but that did not matter there was no hot water to get a shower anyway,no balcony just one window, the only good point it had a flat screen tv. We complained and was told we could move in two days time to what he called an upgrade.WHAT A JOKE. We complained that it was not good enough and was told we could have a look at another tommorrow.Under protest we took it. the condition of this room (127) was worse but it did have a terrace. Again this room needed an overhaul, cracked and broken tiles, very small bath, when you got a bath or a shower the bathroom flooded, the tv was a small lump in the corner, three English chanels bbc world news .cbs and true movies, and also there was not a lot of wardrobe space some of our clothes sat on the drawers. The food and the restaurant I thought was ok always something to eat and the service very good also the drinks and service at the bars was very good. During the day there was constant noise from workmen using hammer drills updating some of the rooms. We enjoyed our holiday because me met some great people, would we go again not a chanceMore

We spent a week here, had booked a studio but when we arrived we got a one bedroom apartments. Plenty of room in bedroom, living area and kitchen very good everything you could need, microwave cooker, oven and fridge. Apartment balcony overlooked one of the pools. Hotel was very clean and rooms were serviced daily except sunday. The area is Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulty as area is quiet hilly and opposite hotel there are over 100 steps up to the town. You can avoid these by taking the road instead of steps but it is hilly. There are a few restaurants and shops near hotel I would class the restaurants as average. We spoke to people who stayed on all inclusive and they said hotel food was good. If you are just going for the sun it is okay but next time I would go to playa de las America as after a few days it is a bit boring. Bus service was good I think it went hourlyMore
Couldn't get on that plane home fast enough!!
After reading the recent reviews on this hotel, I am beginning to think we stayed somewhere else. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children. We were allocated rooms on the ground floor which had access to the quiet pool via a gate thro our terrace, It was a one bedroomed apartment, was very grotty looking inside, there were lots of tiny ants marching across the worktops, and we had a massive cockroach in the room. The shower only trickled out warm water and the tiles were cracked on the walls,The swimming pools were freezing, even the bravest could only manage maximum of ten mins in the water,There were lots of pigeons round the eating areas outside, if any food was left unattended for only a second on the table, the birds cleared it away leaving all their poo, everywhere. The restaurant food was never hot, you had to check the plate was clean, as most had dried food still stuck on, even a cockroach was sat on a side plate one morning, Unfortunately all our party suffered with the sickness or diarrhea bug during the week, we were taking bets who would be the next one, after speaking to several othere guests staying at the tamaima, they also had suffered the dreaded bug.If anyone is unfortunate to be put in on of the rooms near the entertainment area, it gets very noisy and not much chance of sleep until well after midnight when the music finishes but the people continue drinking, the walls of the rooms are paper thin and everything can be heard from your neighbours next door, On the last night my husband had a very lucky escape from a serious injury, after going to sit on one of the plastic chairs at the bar outside, realised that someone must have deliberately left it for someone to sit on with only three legs, I returned it inside to the bar staff, who found it quite funny, that is the sort of hotel you will be visiting, everything is a BIG JOKE to them!! Please be Warned!!, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, Pay a little extra and choose somewhere else!!! The only reason I have given it one star is because of the nice views out to sea from the solarium on the rooftop!More
Just returned from our first ever visit to Tenerife and we enjoyed every minute. This Hotel would be recommended by myself and my partner for location...comfort...cleanlieness. We stayed on a self catering basis for 2 weeks and I could not fault it, beautiful part of the world and great hotel. If we ever return to Tenerife I think we would have no hesitation in returning to this hotelMore

Having never been on an all inclusive holiday before, I went with an open mind, especially as we paid a bargain price. I was very happy with what we got. The hotel was clean and our apartment was large, clean and comfortable with self catering facilities if we needed them. However, there was so much good food on offer, we didnt need any extra. It was all buffet style meals, but was replenished frequently. The hot food was hot and the salads fresh and crisp. Local beer, wine and spirits were included and we could have paid extra for branded drinks but we didnt bother. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only down side for us was the terrain which is very hilly, but we coped with that. Taxis into Los Gigantes are very reasonable. The entertainment was quite loud but it was warm enough to sit outside and chat over a few drinks. Overall a great holiday.More
