All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, radio, minibar, fridge and enclosed balcony. Standard rooms have 2 or 3 beds and are situated below the reception level, not accessible by lift. The hotel will not accept bookings for this room type from guests with any mobility issues due to Health & Safety legislation. Feature rooms available with sea or mountain view. Single rooms without balconies also available.

We also offer Superior rooms.
Superior rooms are available with either a partial sea view and terrace on the first floor, or as a corner room with a sea and/or mountain view on one of the higher floors, with a large balcony. Superior rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities‚ bathrobes, and sparkling wine on arrival.

"The most popular resort on the north coast of Tenerife is Puerto de la Cruz. Just 35km from Santa Cruz, this picturesque town is full of attractions popular with the Spanish and visitors alike. Beyond it are yet more. Loro Parque is famous for its parrots and dolphin performances and the 18th century Jardín de Aclimatación, between Puerto de la Cruz and Orotava, houses a variety of plants from all over the world. Then there is the long and winding uphill journey to the island’s biggest attraction, Mount Teide, with its snow-capped peak and lunar landscape."
The old town of Puerto de la Cruz, centred around the small fishing port, remains remarkably unchanged. Old houses in the traditional Canarian style and the fishermen landing their catches give Puerto de la Cruz a charming atmosphere. The rocky coast with its three small black sand beaches is also the home of the newly refurbished Lido Martinez. The Loro Parque is a man-made nature paradise in Puerto de la Cruz. It houses a shark tunnel and is home to the largest collection of parrots in the world. Additionally, it hosts dolphin, parrot and sea-lion shows plus the latest exhibition, Planet Penguin, with over 200 Antarctic and tropical penguins. The variety of attractions on offer is quite spectacular and enough to keep young and old entertained all day. On arrival, the visitor is met with a beautiful Thai village set on a lake. Inside you can admire the jungle-like gorilla enclosure and Orchid House, plus lots more.

Perched on the side of a hill El Tope Hotel is an ideal location for exploring this resort, the surroundings are peace and quite personified however if you want the entertainment the resort has to offer this is easily accessible albeit 125 steps downhill;... more on this review
