Your guide to
Playa Paraiso, Tenerife
“Lively or laid-back, your holiday is what you make it in Playa Paraiso.”
Modern and mellow, Playa Paraiso gives you that miles from the madding crowd feeling. But because it’s just to the north of
Playa De Las Americas, you get the best of both worlds – laid-back and lovely or light-hearted and lively: the choice is yours. Travel between the two areas is made easy thanks to a regular and reliable local bus service, or you can simply take a ten minute taxi ride if you prefer. So when you want to take things easy away from the masses, you can. And when you’re ready to party, there are plenty of lively clubs and bars to tempt you. In the other direction there’s
Los Gigantes to explore, with its various sightseeing spots and local amenities. Having said that, Playa Paraiso does have a small selection of good bars and restaurants. So there’s always a sunny dining spot with your name on it. Plus, there are a few shops and banks on hand for those holiday essentials. The resort’s compact size is perhaps what makes it so appealing – with no hustle and bustle to speak of, life stays firmly in the slow lane. But the main attraction is the lido right on the sea – much easier on the toes than the small rocky beach. You’ll spend many a day here, stretched out in the sun without a care in the world. It just goes to show, the best things really do come in small packages.
