Great quality hotel.
We booked in here for three nights on an all inclusive basis and we were really impressed by the good standard of the rooms and the general facilities the great pools .And the nightly entertainment was varied and excellent . And all the food was of a very high standard. We booked in here with friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We would have no hesitation in booking in again.Same time next year it's very probable.More
Nice hotel poor food
Just checked out of the bita Cora stayed in room 144 the hotel was really nice and clean staff were pleasant the hotel room cleaners were exceptional 10/10 for them the room was brand new every single day thank you The food on the other hand was of poor quality had better in 2* hotels me and my wife both had food poisoning for 3 days sickness and dihorah we informed the reception staff nothing was said upon our exit we was still offered no apologies when we reported it the men just wrote it down on a piece of paper I'm assuming thrown it in the bin after I left On one night after the entertainment show me and my family was waking back to our room through the pool area when we seen a male from the waiter service and an unknown female performing a certain act on the male this stuff should not happen in a family hotel this is not Ibiza !! Would love to come again as the place is beautiful just a few things need addressing before I'd consider returning Three stars from the Terry family More
having stayed at this hotel as a young couple some 10+ years ago we were looking forward to returning as a family of four with our 7yr old son & 3yr old daughter. We had a great family holiday. We booked half board direct with the hotel so we had taxi transfers included. Check in was smooth & efficient and we were pleased with our spacious room. Rooms had been modernized & re-furbed since our last stay and they looked good. Food was of a varied and good quality, could always find something nice to eat and so did the kids. Entertainment team work hard and there's always something happening poolside. The shows at night were good and no problems finding a seat. Didn't find the bar prices too expensive. Kids liked the playpark and football pitch. Wifi signal was good as well although you did have to log in several times as it timed you out. good location at what i would say is the nicer part of Las Americas close to safari centre. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel. More
Heaven & Luxury on the 8th Floor Terrace Room
We have just arrived back from a 3 week stay in the hotel and was once again, was absolutely outstanding. We stay here every year and would never ever go to any other hotel on the island. This, in my opinion is the best hotel on the island with the best location, best staff, food and cleanliness and facilities. This was our 12th visit and have already booked for next year. We stayed in the luxurious 8th floor terraced room and the biggest in the hotel for the last 13 nights and the management have done a magnificent job in transforming this outstanding room and balcony by bringing down a little bit of heaven and placing it on the 8th floor in the Bitacora. The room itself is much the same as the other rooms and they are all luxurious with bigger than normal double rooms, modern shower rooms with a massive walk in shower with rain heads and separate massage head. Love the shower. The beds are the most comfortable beds to sleep in and nice modern covers. Tip - if you bed moves, just push clip down at bottom of bed to secure in place. Where the jewel in the crown comes into its own is the balcony. It's 69 square meters and you could seriously have a game of five a side football its that big. It is decked out with 3 luxury thick loungers and small table for sun lotion etc and a massive luxury umbrella. There is a table and four chairs for eating and a separate three seater sofa /table chair for relaxing out of the shade. You also have an outside shower to cool down in. You get the sun from morning to night and you hear no noise at all from the pool or otherwise. Beautuful views and relaxing watching the boats sail across the water. You have breakfast served in your room once a week on the terrace and a free mini bar which is stocked every day. Tea and coffe facilities also in room when you have terrace rooms. Bed down service at night with 2 chocolates left on pillows.Nice touch. Once we unpacked we were brought a bottle of champage/glasses and chocolates. Free pool towels. It is really hard to put into words how much I love this terrace and if there is a heaven, im sure this is part of it. I'm told this took 3 months of planning and to complete this one room alone and the hotel management deserve such credit for pulling this together and creating such abject luxury and attention to detail to provide a unique and special experience to all those lucky enough to stay here. You do pay a bit extra for this room and they are hard to get but it is so worth it in my opinion. The room is immaculate and cleaned to an exremely high standard ever day and I have to give a special thanks to "Gifty" , our cleaner that we fell in love with. She was such a bright warm person with a lovely smile every day and fun conversation. On the hotel itself, it has no flaws, absolutely none ! The food is fantastic with plenty of choice at breakfast including freshly made bread/rolls and plenty to choose from at night including theme nights. All the work seems to have been completed and the whole reception area is very modern with fab check in and luminated maps which I liked, new modern furniture/water feature/concealed lighting and extra lifts were a bonus. Another great job done. There is also a cyber centre where the have 6 large AppleMac PC's which are free to use. The wifi throughout the hotel is free and signal was strong and fast in our room. We used the gym most mornings and was open from 7.30am and had quite a few modern machines - bikes/tread mill/weights etc. Pool area we only used for the first 10 nights and the hotel does enforce, rightly so, of removing, towels around the pool before 10am if you are not sitting on them. Relaxed rule of long trousers changed while we were there and changes back around mid Sept to men having to wear long trousers and closed shoes. Although rule relaxed, still no sandals or football tops etc for men. Cant comment on the entertainment as we never go. There is a large fun area for kids that seems popular. Couple personal tips and maybe not for all We always get a taxi from airport and including a tip just budget for 30 euros. First time with Jet2 this year and I liked the faciltiy within the hotel of getting bags checked in at the hotel on morning of departure then heading straight to security. We go half board as dont like big meal during day and there is a small supermarket beside the Vulcano that will make you sandwich etc for around 2/3 euros. I like a cool room and book extra box fans for the duration and from a company called holiday hire. This is arranged at reception and 26 euros for 2 weeks with a refundable deposit of 10 euros. Well worth it to me. I take a multi usb charger and use a small plugboard to accomadate all my gadgets - phone/laptop/kindle/music etc. There is a small hardwear store just up from the Vulcano, just across road, where you can buy these plugboards and only cost around 4 euros. Partner bought cheap iron from Asda £4 and was fab Light but much better than the normal small travel irons. Sorry as this is a long review but I love to feedback how such a wonderful hotel this is. Apart from the magnificent terrace, the biggest asset this hotel has is actually the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The cleaners keep the place immaculate and even they look immaculate in bright green uniforms ! The restaurant staff are always smiling/helpful and all the reception staff are fantastic.I should mention Gustavo who was so cheerful helpful and funny but they all are. Special thank you to Luci, for making this terrace room dream of mine possible again and also to Stefano, who as part of the senior management, takes the time and courtesy to reply to our reviews and comments and is such a great ambassador. Along with Gifty there are all great ambassadors for this great hotel and you won't ever regret booking here. Facilities are fabulous as is food/location/cleanliness and a very well run hotel. I have never ever been to this hotel and not enjoyed every minute and this year was no execption and was lucky enough to have 3 weeks of sheer bliss and chill out. if I could, I would just live here, but I guess I'll just have to wait until next year. Massive thanks to all.More
