Spring Hotel Vulcano

This hotel is in a peaceful location, just a 5-minute walk from Playa de las Americas’ shops, nightlife and beach.

You’re well positioned here, in a quiet spot just a few minutes in either direction to Playa de las Americas’ lively centre, or its sprawling, sandy beach.

As well as two big outdoor pools and a great buffet at the Vulcano, you get access to its sister hotel, the Bitacora – which has one restaurant and two pools.

First time to this hotel

Having reached the age where a couple of weeks in warm weather during the winter is most welcome we have gone to Tenerife the past few years. This is the first time we have stayed at the Vulcano having eyed it up on a previous visit. Excellent! All the staff were very pleasant, the rooms were well appointed and well kept. The restaurant was very good. Great variety of food on offer and changed each night. Would definitely recommend.More

Brilliant hotel m

My Wife and I had a wonderful Holiday in your Hotel between 13/20-2-15. All of your Staff are extremely pleasant and could not be of more help if they tried. They were exceptional. The Hotel is immaculate. What a great variety of food everyday. Chef and rest of Kitchen Staff are to be complemented. I can only give the hotel my greatest accoladeMore

Everything at this hotel was just as it should be. Food is excellent. Rooms spotless. Staff very friendly. We especially remember our room cleaners who did professional job and with a smile. All The staff in the fabulously clean, well organised restaurant especially waiter Julius Ceasar who was from Cuba. The restaurant copes with large numbers of very hungry people so impressively well. All reception staff efficient, interested and good to talk to about from everything you need for room or where to go etc. The room we had was perfect. The balcony had sun from morning till night but was possible to find shade on it too. Beds very comfortable. We always have our balcony door open when in room and all night. From our room the lights from the Hard Rock Cafe are a welcome reminder of the busy nightlife to visit within easy walking distance of the hotel but far enough away to be quiet. The nearby mini golf is worth a visit and is open all day to 10. The entertainment is very good some nights. We especially liked The Eagles and Dominic James. The entertainment lounge is packed most nights and again the Manager and his staff cope very well with serving you at the table. If you are a Spring member you get 15% of your bill for goods bought while on holiday eg drinks. The PR manager Stefano is very good at checking the holiday makers are happy and asks for feedback when he meets you. All in all I have no doubts why so many people return again and again to this hotel. Wish they could bottle it and sell to other hotels to raise their standards as high as The Vulcana. The best thing is it is all done in a relaxed manner and the high standard of care and attention to their clients seems normal for the staff here. THANK YOU FOR HOLIDAY THAT REALLY DID US GOOD. More

Brilliant Holiday !

Just returned from our first , but not the last ,visit to the Vulcano hotel. From check in to check out the service was excellent. The room , although a little tired [ but what can you expect when you consider the number of people who use it in a year !!] was comfortable and had plenty of storage space. We had a room overlooking the pool and with a sea view. We usually stay at a hotel that provides tea/coffee making facilities and despite these not being provided you can pay 4€ a day for a kettle and tea/coffee etc and even a bottle of water is provided each day. We took advantage of this offer and it was great value. The hotel always looks clean and tidy. There are some lovely areas to sit and relax and although wifi is not available in the rooms it is available [free of charge] in the communal areas such as reception , pool area and even the dining room ! The food we found to be excellent with a good range of options every day. There is entertainment each night and this was varied to appeal to all tastes. Loved the aqua biking in the pool on Wednesday . Never done this before but if you get the chance ..try it !! they even offer yoga on Thursday [ both activities free of charge] All in all a great hotel ...suited to people in our age bracket [60+] Will be returning next yearMore
