Went to Parque Santiago 3 for 7days in October with my mother & 10yr old daughter. Nice enough place, great location. Pool area could be cleaner, watched girl hose all the rubbish that folk had left lying around into the pool & then pick out debris from drains!! Didn't start cleaning pool area til 9.30am (weird) waterpark didn't open til 11am either. Plenty beds never a prob to get one, not ideal for the elderly pr young families with prams, no lifts & it has 3floors I had to do 3 trips up stairs with cases! The positioning of our room was a nitemare, we were @ side of hotel so faced onto Parque Santiago 4. From 7am every morning you have lorries unloading (this is clearly a storage area for Santiago 4) bin trucks reversing & then wheeling bins back & forward & they seem to transfer sun loungers between hotels on forklifts all @ 7am! There are major roadworks @ entrance to Hotel, you would be better with room at front thou as the workmen didn't start drilling til 8am as opposed to 7am at side.. Defo would not return just incase got same room location..More

Parque Santiago 2

We booked a two bedroom apartment at the Parque Santiago 2 in September 2015. It was a private rental which based on the reviews said it was on a quiet location. How WRONG that was. Our bedroom faced the noisy area right next to the bars and clubs which had loud music and crappienotokay until 3 in the morning. If you shut the double doors (which obviously the owner knew it must have been noisy) the ceiling fan was broken and if started to rotate would have fallen off the ceiling so we couldn't use it. The heat was then unbearable but that is a gripe with the owner. The resort of Parque Santiago 2 is ok and the pool is large and fine but the biggest RIP OFF in the resort is that they charge you for sun beds, umbrella, covers etc which if you've not budgeted for it and there is two of you could cost you 22 euros a day!!!! this is absolutely rip off territory and the resort should be ashamed to charge. We didn't use the pool that much so it was a quick dip etc and then back to our apartment, but that wasn't the point, they should not be charging. No other Parque Santiago resort particularly at Santiago 4 charged for this as my sister was staying there and they had their sun beds etc free. Overall though the resort of Playa De Las Americas was good and I'll get around to writing a report on it soon.More

Three Unhappy over 70 year old ladies, allocated the 4th Floor

Very unhappy we were allocated the very top floor, as we are all over 70 years old, we found it a struggle, climbing all these stairs with our suitcases, also carrying groceries, as we were self catering. The receptionist informed us there was nothing else available. I think every one was asking for a room change due to horrendous Road Works our balconies looked on to, not very relaxing when it started at 8am and continued the whole day. Apart from that it is nice and clean and in a good location.More

Poor standard of accomodation

Despite booking a 1 bedroom apartment we were instead offered a duplex which gives little or no privacy to 3 adults. When we refused we were then given a room on the 5th floor with no lift facilities as the only available alternative. This is the 2nd time this has happened to usMore
