The Parque Santiago III Apartments line up large, family-friendly pools and a whole host of themed restaurants. Plus, you can use the facilities of the next-door Parque Santiago IV for free - that takes your pool count up to 4.
There are 2 seawater pools here, both of which are huge. The property is also home to a good-sized children's pool. It's next to a playground at Parque Santiago III and features a 6-slide line-up.
The apartments are next to the beach, at the start of the promenade that winds its way to Los Cristianos. You can walk to the sand within 2 minutes. Plus, Siam Park waterpark is a 10-minute taxi ride away.
Last but not least, you get to use the pools of the next-door Parque Santiago IV for free. This gives you access to 2 more pools.
We stayed in Parque Santiago II for one week in August. I have to say that it is a beautifully kept complex, - clean, tidy, safe & secure and well landscaped. The salt water pool was crystal clear and while one did have to pay for sunbeds and parasols once you had paid you were guaranteed it for the whole day - whether you used it or not!! The pool itself was suitable for all - those who were proficient swimmers or those less fond of water ---- on one side of the bridge it reaches no more than 1m while on the other side it reaches a depth of 2.5m. The pool attendants were strict about the pool rules and made no exceptions for anyone.
The apartments (2) that we rented were both privately owned and booked through Karen from Holidays4u.org
Our apartment had a beautiful view of the ocean and promenade and we could hear the sound of the sea and watch the tides ebb and flow from our balcony. The apartment was bright, airy, roomy and spotless throughout. There was a great wi-fi connection (personal to owner) which kept the teenagers happy! And the sofa bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!! When we did have a small problem Karen was quick to respond to our email and informed the owner for us. I have to say she was most helpful and kind at all times throughout our booking from the minute we made enquiries about apartments to the time we got home from our holiday.
The complex is very central to everything. There are restaurants and shops close by and the main centre of Playa de Las Americas is well within walking distance. The promenade which leads to the beaches is literally outside the door! There is a great choice of water sports available on the beaches as well as a number of surf schools. Tours etc can be booked in the shopping area near the complex. We had 2 fantastic days in Siam Park and in Loro Parque. All in all we enjoyed this holiday very much and the general feeling among our group is that we would return here again no problem!More

Not entirely convinced
We stayed in Parque Santiago 3, apartment 62. Upon arrival we was delighted to find out the hotel had noted my request to be put in an apartment close to the children's water park as we knew we would spend a lot of time there. We were given an apartment ground floor right on the door step of the water park so were really pleased. However, we found it very strange that care takers and garders were out in our front garden as early as 4am jet washing the front of the apartment every three days. Slamming our front gate. Worried me thinking someone was trying to get in. Cleaners trolleys coming past at 6am. Inside the apartment it's quite dated and could do with a refurb. We found lots of little bugs like ants with wings in the wardrobe and kitchen areas as these r made of wood. Looked like they had been eating at the wood too. The cleaners were very good and came in and cleaner the apartment every day. We found though that they worls fold up dirty towels we left on the floor and hang back up. Same with bedding, make the bed but not change it untill second week. I knew this as my son was drawing in bed and he spilt a little bit of ink on the covers. I would see that ink every day for a week. I do feel we would have enjoyed this holiday a lot more if the pool was not salt water.
It hurt my sons eyes. We ended up staying with him in the kids pool and hardly used the main pool. The lady on the ice cream stall called Laura is very rude. Stands there speaking to her colleagues when there was 4 customers and one day looked at us waiting in a que then walked away. Very rude lady. I feel for the money the holiday was ok. I don't think we will return but I would recommend hotel to get child focused entertainment as it was very boring. Also when we used the restaurant by the escalators the lady through my change at me and didn't even say thank you. Lossed our custom for the rest of our stay. What happens to customer service? More
Very good self catering accommodation
Parque Santiago was a very good self catering accommodation, basic furniture but spotlessly clean. Cleaners attended daily, clean towels daily. Beware any one with mobility problems as lots of steps and inclines for most accommodation so request beforehand if need ground floor rooms.
Everything needed was close to accommodation, shops, supermarkets, restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, rooms had plenty of space for our family only downfall was no air conditioning in any of rooms and was very hot in August and box fans that were hired we're really inadequate.More

Prague Santiago 111
Stayed in the Prague Santiago 111 in August this year 2014 , myself and two boys 16 and 15 . took few days to find our way round. The hotel supermarket was expensive but there was lots to see the weather was fab . i had requested pool view room which didt get on arrival but they said they would change us on the Tuesday but saying that I loved the room 3034 looking out the front and ended up staying there. There was no stairs to climb or anything was great having drink on the balcony looking out , also there was lovely Chinese under us that we could get take way now and then for €14. The beach was lovely just couple mins away . I would recommend the jet ski Ferrari seems expensive but was great it was only going into the second week i really enjoyed as i had found my way around by then. only thing very short staff always queuing if needed assistance with anything but yes did have lovely time hoping to book it for next year againMore

Parque Santiago Three.....a little piece of HEAVEN! :-)
We have just returned from a ten day holiday, staying at Parque Santiago Three.
We had booked a one bedroom apartment which had a gallery bedroom for us & a sofa bed in our living area for our two boys (aged eight & seven). Upon arrival the lady at reception was really friendly & told us we had been upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. :-)
Our apartment was BEAUTIFUL, well equipped and incredibly spacious. Tge balcony was enormous & bathed in sunshine all day. We had maid service everyday, they were all very polite & friendly..... the apartment was always spotless & linen changed regularly.
The whole complex was BEAUTIFUL & clean with so much to do. Our boys LOVED the splash park on site and spent some time here every day. There is so much to do nearby.......beautiful walks, beautiful beaches, crazy golf across the road and a well stocked supermarket opposite the appartments.
The hotel staff were always polite, friendly as and helpful. We used the facilities at Parque Santiago Four regularly and these were all fantastic too.
The night life was fantastic with street artists, singers, wonderful restaurants all within walking distance.
This was our first abroad holiday since our honeymoon eleven years ago so I had done a lot of research and read reviews before we booked. We booked with onthebeach.com
We had such a WONDERFUL holiday that we have already booked to go back next August.......this time for two weeks! We cannot wait! :-)
This time we have booked a two bedroom apartment through alpharooms. com and will be out there to celebrate our little boys eighth birthday and our 12 year anniversary! :-) So excited already! :-) THANK YOU Parque Santiago for a truly AMAZING holiday!! :-)More
