Colon II Apartments

As well as a prime location, these apartments benefit from a great little café and an à la carte restaurant.

These apartments have an enviable postcode. They’re right in the heart of Playa de las Americas, so you’ve got shops, bars and restaurants at every turn. And a black-sand beach is less than a 5-minute walk away.

The curvy pool is big enough for lengths and has a children’s section attached. Food-wise, you’ve got 3 options – a pool bar, a café and a popular Italian.

Jacek P,

Great summer holiday

Spent a lovely 10 days here with my partner and 16 year old daughter. Asked for 2 rooms near each other and this was accommodated which was kind of them. Great location and the whole place is spotlessly clean. Food and drinks tasty and reasonably priced. The pool area is quiet and relaxed, no pool games or music. People reserving the best sunbed spots as unfortunately is the norm these days, but plenty of space and beds were available. Staff very polite and helpful. I have only two minor requests; option of air con rental would have been welcome as it was uncomfortably hot at night, and put a sign up or something reminding people to be quiet at night as we were woken up every night by clubbers coming back at 4am. Although we were on the ground floor near the entrance so think we were just unlucky there. I would stay here again for sure. Thanks Colon 2 :) More

Rachel K,

Stayed at this hotel first 2 weeks of july .. As hotels go it was lovely and clean , but the place lacks atmosphere... All the management seem to care about is the appearance of the place .. I found some of the staff ignorant and spoke to some other hoilday makers very rudely .. The pool bar and restaurant food is great . las americas it self i thought was very expensive having previously holidayed in the greek islands and used to paying 30 - 60 euros a night for an evening meal and drrinks for 3 people to paying 45 - 130 in tenerife. We did have a good holiday but wouldn't go back to Tenerife More

Paula M,

Having had a rather expensive holiday earlier this year we decided to go middle of the road on budget for our honeymoon. Quite the opposite from middle of the road as a place to stay!! The apartments are bang in the middle Playa Las Americas. They are kept beautifully clean both in the apartments and around the pool and reception. The one fault we could find were the pillows were somewhat hard!! The staff are all friendly and attentive. If you're that way inclined they will even help you with your Spanish. You'll regularly find locals out in the front café which to me speaks volumes. Loved it so much we booked it again for November this year for my wife's birthday before we even left!! And if you're worried about being in the middle of Las Americas and think it's going to be loud...don't!More

No car park , it loses a Mark

stayed for a week in June . As apartments go , this was much better than usual Thomson / Thomas Cook establishments ! Security was amazing , with an electric grill over the window's . The Staff were polite , but no more than that ..... WIFI was patchy, but I enjoyed having a beer at their roadside bar . The THOMSON rep was onylu good if you didnt ask him anything too difficult ! Although between us I got a few Euros back on a diving drip You don't need a rental car,in the resort, as there is limited parking , & most places provide free buses ...More
