Fabulous stay at the colon11! Arrived 19 June 15 for 1 week and enjoyed everything about holiday. We stayed in a 1 bed roomed apt for 3 of us! Lazy days around the pool which was not overcrowded and fabulous 5* food at mama Rosa's on an evening!! The staff were all excellent and the cafe served the best latte in the resort! We did try eating out a couple of times which was nice but we're always drawn back to the colon and the fab mama Rosa's!! Definitely recommend for anybody looking for a quality self catering holiday!! More

Very central, clean and well maintained apartments
We had room number 311 which had the sun in it all day long (lovely). Balcony was wider than some of the others, we left the sliding doors open all day and all night because we felt safe there. Everything we needed was there i.e. toaster, microwave. hot plate and fridge. Also a line was provided for your washing. The only downside was lack of shelf in bathroom and the shower curtain could be changed for a shower screen. The receptionists were two nice, very helpful ladies. Another big problem which they ought to act upon is people reserving sunbeds from quite early in the morning and not using them until the afternoon depriving other people of their use. The holiday rep informed us that these people come here three or four times a year and think its their personal sunbed. Aside from this we had a thoroughly relaxing holiday.More

We have just returned from a two weeks stay at the Colon 2 apartments .We arrived approx. 1300 hrs on Jan 6th .Reception was very efficient .the whole checkin only lasted 5 or 6 mins .We were allocated room 119 which was on the ground floor as requested but unfortunately it is on the shady side of the apts and to make things worse there is a small palm tree and a large banana tree outside the balcony shutting out most of the available light and stopped the opertunity of drying washing.Getting a sunbed was an experience.I will never call the Germans again for putting towels on beds. The guests were hovering by the poolside waiting for cleaners to finish then an almighty rush to bag a bed.The apartment was a studio type but was sufficient for a couple and cleaned daily. The whole complex is spotless, the staff very helpful.THe location is brilliant .Right in the centre of las Americas and on the flat no hills,I would recommend the Colon 2 and will be returning next yearMore
