The curvy pool is big enough for lengths and has a children’s section attached. Food-wise, you’ve got 3 options – a pool bar, a café and a popular Italian.

Stayed here with my partner for 1 week staff were so helpful everything within walking distance food is amazing rooms are perfect any very secure when visiting again I will definitely be getting a pool facing room More
My family and I had an amazing two week holiday here. My boyfriend had booked directly with Colon 2 and the receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly. My room (316) was comfortable and spotless. The pool area always had enough sun loungers even during July when we went down at 2pm (Most hotels in Tenerife you have to get up very early to reserve beds!!). However, the pool bar was too expensive and I would have preferred if there was music playing at the pool. If you have a late flight home I would recommend not paying extra to extend your stay in the room as there are excellent changing facilities available next to the pool toilets. The location is perfect; a short walk away from Siam Safari Shopping Centre, Siam Park, Tenerife's nightlife and Troya beach. We came across an amazing restaurant known as the Romantico which is a 2 minute walk from Colon 2! More
We stayed here as a family of 5 at the start of the summer holidays, we got a really good deal £1600 for flights, baggage, transfer and apartment! Check in was swift and we were directed to our room on the 4th floor, the room was better than i was expecting after reading the reviews we were pleasantly surprised. Two bedrooms kitchenette living and dining area and bathroom, best of all was the huge private balcony, when led down no body could see you. Apartment was cleaned daily and I have to mention the cleaners work hard the whole complex is extremely clean, towels were dated and we had to pay for T.V which was only 15 euros for 11 nights. Having no air conditioning will definitely stop me coming back here it was way too hot and if i opened bedroom window at night all you could here was loud music from the strip down the road which carried on till at least 5am, I struggled sleeping and getting ready to go out at night. Pool area was ok but for the love of god why do people feel the need to queue for pool to open then proceed to put towels down then go back to bed, there is no need, i don't hang around the pool all day but we got a bed whenever we went down so there was just no need, also sometimes towels would be on all afternoon then they decided to come down only to remove their towel and go???? All in all we had a good holiday and apartments are in a great location but until they get air conditioning I won't be returning!More

Bathroom was not as clean as other hotels, lots of ants, not great for disabled guests, reception staff were somewhat helpful, no option for wifi in the rooms, no entertainment, no music allowed at the pool and hotel don't play ambient music, lift wasn't working on arrival, no instructions for fan in room which resulted in the first two days with no fan, hotel didn't have an iron, had to pay for use of the tv in the room, self catering rooms were poorly equipped, and walking distance local shops were also poorly equipped for self catering, so expect to travel to a hyperdino supermarket for essentials! Mama Rosa was excellent and the food by the pool was nice, pool bar staff were very kind and so was the majority of the staff, although the pool shut at 6pm ? Which is very unusual considering how hot it was and compared to the other hotels it seemed early, by the pool you are also accompanied by staff stacking the sunloungers early resulting in an unwelcome feel by the pool!! cleaners came every second day but after arriving at 12am on Friday night the maid came into our room at 9am the next morning (which woke us up) which made no sense as we hadn't even unpacked our cases never mind make any mess, after advising the maid we didn't need anything that morning she then did not return for another two days ! The beds were very hard and unomfortable more like a camp bed ! Pillows were ok though, rooms didnt have soap or showergel or any little extras that you normally get. We got the overall vibe that the hotel was not concerned of our overall wellbeing or whether we enjoyed our holiday or not which is disappointing as the reviews on here tell a very different story...More
Colon is spot on..
Having been to every other canary island this was my first time to experience wonderful Tenerife. It fast became my favourite and by a long margin. The Colon II is the perfect place to experience this fabulous destination. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman on reception and were promptly given our key. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment (206) and it was all and more than we expected. I had requested an apartment overlooking the pool. It was very modern and fresh and spotlessly clean. It afforded a well equipped kitchen and the ample sized living area led onto a large balcony with pool view and a partial seaview. The TV had twenty English stations and was a perfect addition to our siesta's! There is no AC but the ceiling fans are more than adequate and we slept brilliantly! Whilst I acknowledge that there is a scramble in the morning for sun beds, it wasn't a major problem and wouldn't be an issue outside high season. My daughter loved sitting in the modern and comfortable reception to avail of the free wifi. You can also pick it up at the top of the pool area. We ate in Mama Rosa's on three occasions as the Italian food was so delicious and very affordable. We also loved to have a G&T whilst seated in the bar located at the front of the Colon II. We all really enjoyed everything about our holiday and would most certainly not hesitate to go back to this wonderful accommodation.More
