What a surprise , we never expected it to be as good as it was A quick check in, very helpful We opened the door to room it was very clean. The room looked very nice with the colourful decor We did not have a pool view, but as we were only in room shower n sleep in did not matter The pool area was again very clean, it had lifeguard everyday - he got a little too friendly with young women asking them to meet him after shift or on his day off ð§ The bar just outside had a very rude to us. We had a smoothie as our last drink before we left. The bus arrived n we hurried to where it had pulled in, the bar man came running up to us shouting u have not paid the bill, an honest mistake Have a fab time when you visitMore

WISH I COULD OF STAYED LONGER!!
Just got back from staying in the colon 2 for a week and have to say it was an amazing holiday! We got an apartment on the third floor over looking the lane which was so peaceful with no nosy neighbours! The rooms were kept spotless being cleaned every day! The pool was beautiful with sunbeds always available. The beach down the road was good for a stroll at night with many bars along the way although if you're looking to spend the day at the beach i recommend getting a taxi to los Cristianos which is beautiful! I was with my mother and nanny so it was a nice relaxing holiday with everything you want right outside the hotel door! Everyone was lovely from the shop keepers to the reception and the thomson rep andrew who was very friendly who offered advice and information with the added bonus that he was gorgeous;) All in all it was the perfect getaway! I would highly recommend it! And ill definitely be back next year with my friends to experience veronicas strip!!More
Just returned home after a fantastic 2 weeks stay at the Colon II Apartments. Rooms cleaned almost everyday the grounds are very well maintained and kept. You have all the amenities needed for a self catering holiday with in the room if you are actually wanting to eat in. We didn't tend to as they're so many nice places to eat with in the surrounding areas. If you fancy any really nice dining places I'd defo check out Mamma Roses - situated in the apartments. We visited twice in the actual restaurant and a cheeky room service as well... Quality food and excellent service was never disappointed. Being a frequent visitor to the island my foodie hotspot which I highly recommend are Chinese - Golden House (situated around the back of the Safari centre. There is a strip of bars it's within middle located next (the hole in the wall) doesnt look amazing from the outside but the best Chinese food ever. Crispy duck with pancakes is too nice. Being a Chinese lover I always crave here when home aha. American dreamz Chill out Bianco Friends Surfers bar - check them out on here. For more upmarket night up in safari there is Harry's cocktail bar, Hard rock cafe, Monkey Beach bar and grill. Check out Kaluna beach club also. Shopping- Siam mall new well worth a visit. Safari Centre is really good for shopping too. There is a clothes shop called Stradivarius which is like H&M at home and similar to Topshop but really cheap. There is another one just round the corner from it called Bershka, both shops are well worth a visit! More

Absolutely Brilliant Hotel
Me and 2 friends stayed here for 2 weeks and had a brilliant time. The room was lovely and absolutely spotless, they were cleaned every day and it was lovely coming back after a day out to a spotless apartment. The staff were brilliant and on hand 24/7. One of the things we really liked about the hotel was that it isn't too big which means the reception staff get to know you and are very friendly. The pool area is great and we easily got sun loungers every day, it was very relaxing and the pool bars food and drink were great. In terms of location, it was very handy and we were in walking distance to great bars, restaurants, shops and the beach. Overall staying at this hotel definitely made our trip a brilliant overall experience! I would definitely stay here again and don't have a single complaint about our 2-week stay! I was constantly pleased and astounded at how wonderful the hotel was and how friendly and helpful the staff were!More
Alice Rosie A,
Nice Place if only ....
Stayed here mid October last year. Apprehensive on arrival but needn't have worried. The apartments are located right in the heart of PDLA but distanced enough from the main area of mayhem Veronica's. Spotless complex being constantly looked after by an army of cleaners and maintenance people. Lovely pool area which we found was extremely quiet. Having our grandson with us, sadly he was bored most of the time as there was not a lot going on at the complex. Self catering is the only option here, but there is a gem of an Italian restaurant on site Mamma Rosa. First class food at first class prices, although as residents were treated to 10% off the bill. Outside, a few strides would take you to several bars or restaurants. Would stay again, perhaps with just the missus as there wasn't a lot for teenagers to do, but all in all a good base for people who like peace and quiet in a prime location.More
