Tryp Tenerife Princesa Dacil

Thanks to its lively pool and long list of activities, the Tryp Tenerife Princesa Dacil is a big hit with families. The location goes down well, too - the beach and town centre are nearby.

The Tryp Tenerife Princesa Dacil, formely known as the Sol Princesa Dacil, is in a really convenient location. The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from Los Cristianos Beach and less than ten minutes from the heart of town and all its shops, bars and restaurants. What’s more, the airport is only 17 miles away, so you won’t have a long transfer.

There’s a packed list of activities available at the hotel, too. In the busiest summer months, you can get in a giant inflatable ball and try water zorbing on top of the swimming pool - that's if you're not sunbathing around it. Alternatively, head to the tennis courts or play a game of minigolf.

On the food front, the restaurant serves generous buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spreads include everything from steaks and fish to salads and pastas. There’s also a snack bar if you get hungry between meals.

Great view

Stayed for 2 weeks B & B on the 13 floor, great view. The rooms were clean with air conditioning and TV. the food was excellent with a wide range to choose from and friendly staff throughout the hotel. It was a little bit noisy because of the Spanish holiday but overall a nice hotelMore

Amazing value for money!

Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and a glass of wine- holiday had began. Smooth check-in process where we were assigned our room with ease. The room was ok, very clean (compliments to the cleaner) yet very basic, as we expected for the price we paid. The two things perhaps missing was the fact 1) there was no air con in our room (floor 2) and 2) there was only one power socket unoccupied which was in the bathroom! So charging our electricals was an issue. We stayed all inclusive and looking back, feel like it was the best decision for us. The food was varied and always had a full plate. Couldn't fault the food. The pool area again was clean and there was always a sun bed and a spot for us no matter what time. The pool was cold yet refreshing when the sun got too much. The bar was never busy so service was quick and easy, especially with the self serve drinks. Entertainment on an evening was always good enough! And the kids club held a disco every night if you have young children. Overall a great holiday and amazing value for money! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper place to stay.More

Came to Tenerife for a short break with my girlfriend for her birthday. The hotel was excellent. Room was large and bathroom was very clean. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was nice, and lasted til half 10 which is good if you wanted a lie in. Everything you'd expect really. What made it excellent was the fact the hotel manager gave my girlfriend a complmentary bottle of Cava on her birthday. We didn't tell them about her birthday, or why we were there, so either the maids seen the cards and informed the manager, or they noticed it from her passport. Either way, this is a touch of class we did not expect! Just shows you how attentitive and helpful the staff are here, which makes all the difference. Definitely would come back.More

Very nice wheelchair friendly

Stayed for ten days with my wheelchair bound daughter. Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The hotel is very accessible with ramps everywhere, there were only two ramps that my daughter couldn't manage on her own. The rooms are large with nice wide door frames. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the entertainment staff. The majority of the evening entertainment was good. We upgraded to all inclusive when we arrived and were very impressed at how they cater for food allergies, they even have gluten free cake. Yes, the wifi costs 6 euros a day, but take a stroll along the beach front and all the bars have free wifi. Our favourite bar was Cabanas, very friendly with lovely food. Would definitely stay here again.More

I am writing this review on our last day 22/6/15 this hotel I visited over 30yrs ago with my parents and fair to say it hasn't changed a lot but it spotlessly clean the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you the entertainers round the pool are first class.onto the rooms dated but again spotlessly clean the beds could do with some new mattresses I would have slept better on the floor but that's just me.onto the food as our 10 day all inclusive holiday has gone on the food has deteriorated no problem at all with breakfast the snacks round the pool are fine but dinner is not very nice and food is bland but would I come back yes definitely and are booking as soon as we get home Los cristianos is a great place for a great family holiday which ours has beenMore
