Hotel Paradise Park

Pretty panoramas, a choice of attractive pools, and a peaceful spa are some of the best bits at the Hotel Paradise Park.

This hotel is wrapped in huge gardens on top of a small hill, with panoramic views of the town and coast. The popular Playa de las Vistas Beach is a scenic 20-minute walk away. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to save you the legwork, though.

This place flaunts some good-looking facilities. There's a rooftop pool and another carved into rock. The atrium is filled with pretty plants, and rooms are dressed in modern neutral tones. Plus, the whole place is being made over for summer 2015.

Fabulous stay...with too much fish.

We have just finished our stay at this beautiful hotel, where the service was exceptional. Before our stay my friend requested a balcony with a pool view and when we arrived, they had met our request. Although we were over looking the children's pool the noise wasn't too bad and we didn't mind as we are both slightly younger at 23/24. This is definitely the place to go if you want to escape the main hustle and bustle, it's close enough to hop in a taxi and head to the party hot spots of playa de las Americas or to the likes of the Hard Rock Cafe. A special mention to the spa staff. We decided to spend a day here and all of the staff in the spa were really helpful and friendly and made our spa experience extra special. My only criticism would be the meal times. We were at the hotel on the half board basis and found that most nights there was too much fish on the menu which was not great for 2 people who don't eat any sea food. All in all i'd definitely visit again, a beautiful, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. More

Faultless Holiday

Stayed 10 nights half board 1st - 11th October, great clean large hotel. Good weather not too hot but very sunny. Good selection of food, always hot and well cooked. Staff very pleasant, most of them anyway, girl on at night at restaurant a bit miserable especially when checking if the men had long pants on! She had a habit of walking off when you went to pay for your drinks, still left her a tip though! not verbal. Room 339 was on the 3rd floor not too bad a view could at least see the sea but next to a busy road. A higher floor would have been better, asked for this but didn't get it. Superior double room, maid came in daily very sociable. Free WiFi on second floor lounge, could get it in room on edge of bed. Pools were great, plenty of them spread over the complex, spent most time at the roof top pool. Entertainment at night was OK, good tribute bands, beer priced reasonable enough for a hotel under €6 euros for a pint of Amstel and a large glass of white wine. There's a sports bar down the road, good to watch all footy games, 39 bar across from this is OK. Several more bars round the corner, Bojangles, Taylors and Harvey to name a few. Walked to the harbour nearly every day, only 15 minute stroll if you go via short-cuts, Amsterdam Calle the down Paris cross road opposite the Dacil and down to the beach. Good bars down here, drinks are cheaper too, Irish Times takes some beating late on. All in all a good holiday. We will be going back to this hotel next time we go to Los Cris .More

Tom G,

Great hotel in fantastic location

Came here for a week with my boyfriend and really enjoyed it. The pools were nice (two pools for 18+ only which was amazing), and as we stayed all-inclusive had meals, drinks and snacks provided whenever we wanted. The room itself was nice, the bed was spacious and very clean. View wasn't great but we didn't spend much time in the room. The downsides: no water available after the bar closed. My boyfriend had to walk around for 20 minutes looking for a shop that had water. The food was ok (breakfast was fantastic!) but there wasn't much choice for vegetarians/fussy eaters at lunch/dinner. Drinks were very strong but not sure that can really be classed as a negative. The surrounding area of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas was fantastic. Close to the beach and bars - we were a bit annoyed with our decision to go all inclusive but didn't let this prevent us from going out most days. Good places to visit nearby - Monkey Park, Siam Park and dolphin/whale watching. Weather was great for October - hot during the day and only rained once on the day we left.More

Great week

We had a great week at this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, the view was good and the food was excellent. The entertainment was fantastic, with acrobats, juggler's and tribute bands, like The Beatles and ABBA. The pool area was fantastic and then we walked across to the other pools which were stunning. Then there was the food, wow what a selection. There were so much choice we didn't no were to start, it was amazing. The only criticism is that we found the staircase and walkways inside the hotel was very dark, other than that we couldn't fault it. I nearly forgot they had there own free small coach to take you down into the town, great stuffMore

Thoroughly enjoyable holiday

Stayed here for 7 nights as an extra holiday for my 60th birthday. I emailed the hotel mentioning this and asking for a room with a sea view on a higher floor. I got exactly what I asked for and on returning to our room on the day of my birthday there was a congratulations card and a bottle of bubbly on ice waiting for us. Lovely surprise. Location is great. Far enough out to be quiet but only 10 minutes down a gentle gradient to the sea. Walking back took a few minutes longer. The last 20 meters back to the hotel is steeper as you round the corner but that can be avoided by entering through the lower gate by the separate apartment's. This will bring you in at floor zero, whereas reception and the main entrance is floor 2. Las Americas is an easy walk, instead of going down the slope to the front and through the small tunnel just past the harbour cross over the road at the top round about and it is an easy walk into the centre. I am 60 and walking to the centre of Las Americas and back was not a problem. We used the 'adults only' roof terrace which was very peaceful with fantastic views. There is wheelchair and mobility scooter access to this area if you need this. Dining room is nice with a huge selection of food morning and evening and great service. Lunch also good and snacks (toasties etc) available all day. Bar service also very quick and by the 3rd or 4th night as I went to get my rum and coke and her vodka and diet coke the girl created me with "Good evening sir. The usual?" How's that for service and we only had 3 or 4 drinks each night? We had a superior room which had very comfy beds although the furniture was perhaps a little tired. We were both amazed at how quiet it was overnight with uninterrupted sleep. Cleaning was perfect with plenty of towels and bedding changes. The free pool towels were great. €10 deposit each and only 50cent for a fresh one. Will not single out any one employee as all were happy, smiling and eager to help. A credit to the hotel and presumably the management style. Would we go again? Absolutely yes.More
