Hotel Paradise Park

Pretty panoramas, a choice of attractive pools, and a peaceful spa are some of the best bits at the Hotel Paradise Park.

This hotel is wrapped in huge gardens on top of a small hill, with panoramic views of the town and coast. The popular Playa de las Vistas Beach is a scenic 20-minute walk away. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to save you the legwork, though.

This place flaunts some good-looking facilities. There's a rooftop pool and another carved into rock. The atrium is filled with pretty plants, and rooms are dressed in modern neutral tones. Plus, the whole place is being made over for summer 2015.

Relaxing Holiday

My husband and I have just arrived back from a week at the Paradise Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't really fault the hotel and its facilities. We had a superior room on the 5th floor that was spacious and had everything we needed including a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a flat screen TV with a selection of English channels, a hair dryer, a great shower, a nice balcony with a lovely view, comfortable beds, plenty of wardrobe space, great air con, the room was cleaned daily and the sheets and towels were changed several times during our stay. The food was perfectly fine and we were able to choose something different every day, for lunch and at dinner time. There was always plenty of different types of salad, vegetables, casserole type dishes, freshly grilled fish and meats, cheese, bread, desserts, ice creams, fruit etc. To be honest we were spoilt for choice most of the time. We are not fussy eaters and enjoy trying new things so I guess all the different choices made it easy for us to have something that we enjoyed every day. I even had a wonderful steak on Saturday which was so tasty and beautifully cooked, we just can't complain about a thing. With such a good lunch and dinner we didn't need breakfast but I gather from other reports that it was more than adequate and again provided lots of choice. The drinks were always readily available and we liked the fact that you could help yourself to soft drinks, coffee, wine and beer. We rarely had to wait for anything and found that the bar staff worked really hard to try and keep the queues to a minimum. Most of the staff seemed happy and friendly and were always very busy keeping the tables cleared and wiped down. The entertainment that we saw was mixed, some of the singers in the top bar were quite good and we liked the relaxed atmosphere of it up there. We also went to the lower bar and enjoyed the Beatles and Queen tribute acts, also a male singer that had a good voice, although there was a few problems with the sound on his night which was a shame. We spent most of our week at the adults only pool which was really lovely, very quiet and exceptionally clean. To be honest all areas of the hotel were clean including the bars, eating areas, and loos. We never had to reserve a sun bed as there was always plenty of empty ones in this area. We did go to the roof top terrace which was also very quiet but was a little put off by the constant smell of cooking coming from the kitchen. However the views from there were great. I feel that the hotel is struggling a bit to retain a 4 star rating and would be much better suited as a GOOD 3 star. Small things such as holes in the bedding, running out of bottled beer, food not labelled so you were unable to be sure of what it was, certain areas of the hotel were a bit run down and required basic maintenance. Also some of the cleaning in our room was a bit doubtful which was a bit of a shame. If these things were rectified it could make the hotel even better. However nothing effected our holiday and we had a great time and overall it was very good value for money. On top of that the weather in Tenerife was super, 7 days of beautiful blue sky, blazing sun and so lovely and hot! How can anyone complain about that especially as back in England it's cold and wet!!! More

Good family hotel but room for improvement !!!

We stayed here as a family of 10 in July 2015. 4 adults and 5 children age 4,6,11,12,13 we were allocated 3 classic one bedroom family rooms . Rooms were clean but could do with a bit of modernising. We looked round the family two bedroom duplex rooms which were much better.Hotel clean and tidy and the snack bar round the pool fantastic with serve yourself drinks. Food of a good standard and lots of choice something for everyone !! Special mention to Julio who was great with all the kids. The only negatives is not a lot of facilities or entertainment for the older children although the younger ones enjoyed the kids club and disco. We found the evening entertainment very poor. Shuttle bus only fit 17 people so at peak times people had to wait which was frustrating. There were 2 adult only pools which were lovely and quiet. Overall had a great family holiday and would recommend this hotel to families.More

July visit to Paradise Park

Visited in July 15. Good hotel with friendly and helpful staff. There was plenty of choice at meal times for adults but felt that a section for children would have been helpful with chicken nouggets, burgers etc would have been helpful. The entertainment was second to none as hotel entertainment goes and the entertainment staff at the hotel put a comedy show on one night each week which was extremely entertaining . Same situation as most hotels with regard to sun beds (need to be early to get a sunbed at peak times ) it was approximately a 15mins walk to the beach but if you did not wish to walk there is an excellent bus service from the hotel to the beach weekdays. The beach is lovely with plenty of bars to buy refreshments and beach toys (buckets and spades etc) I would visit this hotel again but would like to visit a different resort next time I visit Tenerife. There is a roof top pool for adults only with a lovely view over Los Christianos. I would not visit again in July or August as the temperature is too high for me personally . More
