Hotel Paradise Park

Pretty panoramas, a choice of attractive pools, and a peaceful spa are some of the best bits at the Hotel Paradise Park.

This hotel is wrapped in huge gardens on top of a small hill, with panoramic views of the town and coast. The popular Playa de las Vistas Beach is a scenic 20-minute walk away. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to save you the legwork, though.

This place flaunts some good-looking facilities. There's a rooftop pool and another carved into rock. The atrium is filled with pretty plants, and rooms are dressed in modern neutral tones. Plus, the whole place is being made over for summer 2015.

Shame on Reception!

I checked into this hotel and was allocated a room with shower only (no bath). I immediately called reception to ask if I could be moved to a room with bath and was told that this was a newly refurbished room and the bath had been removed. I tried to explain to the very arrogant man on reception that I have a problem with stability on my feet and that I found it difficult to shower. I was totally aghast when he said to me "Well if you are saying you are disabled then you should get your travel provider to move you to another hotel"!!! Eventually he offered me another room which I viewed, but this was smaller and overlooked a back street. I decided to mull it over for a while. Eventually I said I would take that room and the same arrogant receptionist said "too late - we have allocated it to someone else". Next morning there was a note through my door asking me to go to reception. They showed me two rooms - one was the one which I had been told had been allocated to someone else, the other was at the other side of the main pool and had a separate lounge. I accepted the latter but had to pay a supplement of 5 euros per night. This was acceptable to me - I just wanted to get on with my holiday. However, evening fell and to get to the restaurant/bars I had to go down a dark external flight of stairs. "No problem" I thought to myself, I'll get myself a torch in the morning. However, when returning to my room when the bar closed, the whole of the pool area was cordoned off and was pitch black dark. So I had to duck under several lots of barrier tape to finally encounter dark steps! I am a female in my 60's and was travelling solo. In all other respects the hotel was lovely, food excellent, staff excellent, such a shame Reception did such a wonderful job of letting this hotel down! Would I return? Nope!More

The perfect getaway

Lovely holiday , staff where all really friendly booking in at reception the start of being looked after very well. Food from breakfast lunch dinner and all the snacks in between you couldn't ask for more. There was a pool for all ages if you want kids with you or if not go up top adults only plus you get the views there too. Entertainment was good and the bar staff all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, will defiantly return. Plus only a short walk from supermarket other shops and bars plus lovely walk to the beach More

Relaxing holiday

I can only vouch for us as a couple; Fantastic hotel with friendly staff, Great food, excellent facilities and brilliant entertainment. Rooms are not to bad and clean. Hotel is situated about 10mins walk from the beach or they have a complimentary mini bus service which is an added bonus for those persons who do not like walking up hill back to the hotel. Separated adult only areas with pool and bar. The only let down for us was that the bar and night club downstairs finished at midnight. Good family hotel with kids club. We would certainly recommend to others Val & KathMore

Relaxing Break

Our weeks holiday at Paradise Park (HB) was lovely, all the comments about rooms being a little dated, the first class food, friendliest of staff and cleanliness of hotel is spot on. The only comment I really want to make is that a review which was posted a few days ago stated that the gentleman who drove the hotel bus to the beach and back does not 'grab' you but helps you on and off the bus, believe me if he did grab me then I would have complained to the hotel management.More
