Hotel Paradise Park

Pretty panoramas, a choice of attractive pools, and a peaceful spa are some of the best bits at the Hotel Paradise Park.

This hotel is wrapped in huge gardens on top of a small hill, with panoramic views of the town and coast. The popular Playa de las Vistas Beach is a scenic 20-minute walk away. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to save you the legwork, though.

This place flaunts some good-looking facilities. There's a rooftop pool and another carved into rock. The atrium is filled with pretty plants, and rooms are dressed in modern neutral tones. Plus, the whole place is being made over for summer 2015.

Amazing holiday

Me and my girlfriend both 25 stayed at this hotel in august for 10 days and couldn't fault it at all. We booked a superior room which had a view of the main pool, which was pretty quiet because the pools didn't open till 9am. The room itself had everything we wanted including small fridge, hair dryer, nice walk in shower, beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned to a very high standard everyday. There was always a lot of different foods available and as we are vey fussy eaters we found that we ate the same foods most nights, but we always found something to eat throughout the day. If we decided to go back to this hotel we would go self catering or bed and breakfast as there is a wide range or restaurants with in a 5/10 minute walk. (Down hill there up hill back, which wasn't enjoyable during the day, however there is a free bus which the hotel provide during the day) The pool areas were clean and tidy all the time but we only used the adult only pools as we don't have any children, we always found a sun bed no matter what time of day it was. The hotel staff worked very hard and would go out of their way to help you or provide you drinks at night. they were also very friendly and would make an effort to talk to you. The entertainment at night started with the children's mini disco this would last for 20/30 minutes, as we don't have children we didn't want to sit through this but if you went in to the bar after you wasn't always able to find a seat. Entertainment after the children's mini disco was always suitable for all ages, we watched the bird show, acrobats, Spanish dancing, comedy act, optical illusion show. Bingo, tribute acts and much more. Their was also live bands and singers on the 1st floor. All the shows were always to a very high stranded. On our departure day we had to be out of our room at 12pm which at the time we didn't think it was ideal as we weren't leaving the hotel until 5.00pm, the reception staff told us that we could have a room for 30 minutes to have a shower etc. there was also a locked room where you could put your suit cases in. The reception staff all spoke very good English which helped when we needed advise or help about places around the resort. We would defiantly recommend this hotel and would go back.More

Pretty Good Really

As a venue for a family holiday, the hotel was excellent, with a good range of things to do for the kids. The food was fresh, with a wide variety of options (even though each night was themed, you could still find something for every palate). At the price, the rooms were a little basic (we couldn't upgrade, as there was no option for a family suite), but generally kept clean. The restaurant and bar staff were impeccable, which really helped make the stay, and if you were ever to choose to go somewhere new, Hotel Paradise Park is definitely worth the trip - just because of the atmosphere created by the staff.More

Good last minute holiday

Had a good stay at Paradise Park recently, at the end of last month. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a week half board, great hotel, great food and such a variety every morning and evening with different themed food nights. It is about a 20 minute walk to the beach, then another 10 minutes to the next beach where there are nice restaurants etc and then further on takes you right into las americas, it's a lovely walk around the promenade. Although we didn't fancy walking to las americas at night so it was about 6 euro one way each time, the receptionist can order a taxi and it's there within a minute. The only bad thing about the rooms is the hair dryer, definitely take your own if you have long hair like me. Also the standard rooms are basic but clean enough and new sheets etc everyday. The adult only rooftop sunbathing and pool area was our favourite, beautiful views and quiet. Would be perfect if the hotel was more central but we had a good stay overall. More

Very good.

I visited last week in August for a week on my own with my 7 year old daughter and I travel on holiday a lot with her so there are a number of things that I really like to help us enjoy the holiday fully. The hotel felt very safe and secure and all the grounds were well gated and I liked that the pool area was on floor 0 and reception was on floor 2. The staff were all very friendly, entertainment at night was good for kids and adults. The kids club was okay, I've seen other kids clubs with staff better with the children. The food was really very good and very varied. The family pool was a good size to keep an eye on your child swimming with a shallow part to it, although I'm not sure if the hotel operated a lifeguard system or not. When I was there a young child had to be pulled from the pool and given CPR, this was not a fault of the hotel but the lifeguard had to be found from somewhere.....that is a major fault and even after this event no life guard was around this pool. Thankfully the child recovered but I think if a lifeguard was present fully then this would have been prevented and I think the outcome was very lucky. There are other adult only pools but since most people staying at the hotel seemed to have children ( in August) I'm not sure what the point of these were and it just meant that this family pool was overcrowded...... Normal sun bed towel situation. The air con was just about okay and if you managed to keep it on all day using a second room key then it was just about effective otherwise it would be pointless. The wifi was only available in a small area near reception and wasn't great, why. The superior room was very basic. The walk to the beach was about 20 mins. There are loads on bars locally selling beer at 1euro a pint ! Which makes the hotel drink process quite high, if you haven't gone for the all inclusive option, I just went half board. All in all enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I guess it all depends in what prices you paid for the holiday as to whether it is worth it or not. The hotel could be better easily if it made some simple changes, proper wifi in the hotel, proper air con, useful lifeguard!.....I think the hotel should clarify this point to help this review. Ps..... This has nothing to do with the hotel but do not book the medieval show trip!!!!More

Worth every penny

Me and my boyfriend just got home from a week stay in Paradise Park Hotel. The hotel itself was amazing...great atmosphere and plenty of places in the hotel its self to explore. There was 4 different pool areas to choose from. Adult only pool which is quieter, the children's pool where all the little children and families are, a roof top pool that is very peaceful and my personal favourite was the pool round the back of the hotel which had a mix of couples and families with older children that had a great atmosphere. We went from 22nd August to 30th August and were all inclusive! The weather was fantastic and the pools were refreshing! Anything we needed at all and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. The food was all fresh and fantastic and so much to chose from the buffet every meal time. And every meal time is was always different choice too so no chance of ever getting bored of the food. Even if you are a fussy eater there will be something for you. I really couldn't rate it any higher. Breakfast was fanatic was fanataic took - was like an American buffet style breakfast! While by the pools you can also help yourself to as much beer, soft drinks and wine etc and you can also help yourself as as many burgers hot dogs, salads and ice cream as you want! The rooms were lovely and the air conditioning was nice and not at all noisy. Was very comfortable to sleep in. Everyday our room was always fresh and clean for us to come back to. When we asked about booking activities the hotel reception were very helpful and we booked both loro Parque and siam park through the hotel and they organised out transports too! They would also order us and taxis we needed. Best holiday I have ever been on - if you are considering going I would 100% go for it you will not be disappointed!More
