Hotel Paradise Park

Pretty panoramas, a choice of attractive pools, and a peaceful spa are some of the best bits at the Hotel Paradise Park.

This hotel is wrapped in huge gardens on top of a small hill, with panoramic views of the town and coast. The popular Playa de las Vistas Beach is a scenic 20-minute walk away. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to save you the legwork, though.

This place flaunts some good-looking facilities. There's a rooftop pool and another carved into rock. The atrium is filled with pretty plants, and rooms are dressed in modern neutral tones. Plus, the whole place is being made over for summer 2015.

The hotels appearance initially is dated but they are undergoing a refurb in the New Year, the staff are excellent and the food is excellent, we stayed in a suite and it was first class with free cava sent to the room, this is a place we are looking forward to returning to in the futureMore

great hotel

I have just returned from Paradise Park and love this hotel, staff are the most friendliest I have ever met in Spain, food is good plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was all inclusive and snack bars throughout the day were good also with burgers, chips, hotdogs etc Pool areas are good, there is a few different pools you can choose from and even an adult only on the roof top. Rooms in main building have been renovated but the junior suites and suites are getting renovated. The hotel is closing from May till June to be refurbished, this will be good for the hotel The only downfall is the steep hill up to entrance of hotel, if you have walking difficulties this could be hard, there is a complimentary bus down to town and the beach this runs often throughout the day. Overall great hotel and would definitely go back.More

We are going again, already booked the day after we got home!

We visited last time in 2008 and did not like the balconies, you could not see the view while seated. Now with the external improvements an orange coloured glass has been used which does not obstruct the view. The food was very good as it was last time we were here, tender beef and pork steaks, great salads and a good selection of vegetables and other foods. I always managed to find a warm or hot plate for my meal. Lower floor rooms can be noisy up to about 11.30pm when the entertainment generally stops. No good if you want an early night! The hotel was very clean and all the staff were superb, the free minibus to Playa de las Vistas was a super asset which we used most days. We used it to visit the "Pan Caliente" cafe/bakery only 30 yards from the drop off point. The WIFI varied probably with many people using it at the same time in the reception area. It was annoying to have several people using Skype or similar to talk to folks back home, they made sure that all in the reception area could hear them. There is a case here for a separate area, say outside reception for Skype users then they could compete against each other and not affect those simply wanting to use the internet. The superior rooms and more expensive ones had a kettle, the "Classic" rooms did not I am told. We traveled with Thomsons and found that their rep Katie from Kent was the best we have had for some time. WARNING - the coaches picking up for the return journey may not have reps or drivers who go into reception and announce the pick up coach for the Manchester flight etc. They also pick up for flights to Germany and other counties on the same coach. So if you see Germans getting on a coach it could also be picking up for the UK Two couples were waiting for the Jet2 coach but did not see it, I told them it was here and they only just managed to catch it. Booking early with Thomsons saved us well over £400 for two weeks compared to the two other tour operators using the hotel. Tenerife airport was very poor with long queues to check in. Four or five desks for multiple flights, on the way out through Doncaster there were a similar number of desks for one flight!More

lovely position with great staff

nice hotel but unsure if i would rate it as 4 star, we had booked a superior room with a pool view, but were given a older style room with a view of a car park which happened to other guest But was corrected by receptionist without any issues. staff were very friendly and accommodating, food in the restaurant was plentiful with plenty of choice, My gluten free diet was catered for with minimal fuss. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss but they did try to cater for everyone. I would have no hesitation in visiting this hotel again.More

I will go back

Good location in quiet surroundings and about 10 mins from shore. Upgraded room to suite on top floor, great move. Reception on 2nd floor so ensure room is above this level for noise. Lots of lounging space around many pools so no rush for loungers. More
