The elongated pool is sheltered by the garden wall on one side, and open to a spacious sunbathing terrace. There are plenty of loungers for everyone, but not over crowded, whilst for the fairer skinned, parasols provide some shade.
There's a bar next to the pool serving drinks throughout the day.

Room was newly modernised but work was still going on next door to us so it wasn't a peaceful holiday like we were looking forward to having 😡 No day without drilling and banging. Staff were friendly enough and restaurant was lovely good choice of food. Apartments are on a very busy road which is noisy all the time with buses and lorriesMore
Just returned home from staying at the St George for a week. They are currently refurbishing and so there was a lot of drilling/hammering going on around the hotel from around 9-5, it was audible all around the pool area. They were also carrying out some groundwork right at the pool area which created a lot of noise and either seemed to keep people away from the pool or it was possibly just not busy. There's no aircon in the rooms which was fine for May with the balcony door open but I can't imagine how hot it would get mid summer or for the bottom floor rooms. Breakfast was very good and you could get a small amount of food at a bar by the pool but other than that you have to leave the hotel to get food. The rooms were nice and the bathrooms have been updated. It is about a 5 minute walk to las vistas beach and about 10 minute walk to the Golden strip where lots of restaurants are. Overall the holiday was alright for a week away. I personally wouldn't return but that was more to do with the over cast cloudy weather that Tenerife has most of the time and the hotel could play music/serve food to liven it up a bit. More
Nice clean quiet apartment
It is set in between los Cristiano's and las Americans so location is good it is on a slight incline I would not say on a hill at all Breakfast is very nice and fresh the rooms are clean and very new all mod cons The pool area is nice very quiet no music Overall this hotel is great for a base somewhere to sleep and chill by the pool More
Stayed here for a week. Some work still going on which wasn't great but not a biggy. Hotel rooms lovely and everything you need. Was told there was a hairdryer in room but wasn't when I got there so they lent me one from reception for free and had one fitted on the Monday 👍. We had two balconies, one with a egg chair and the other two chairs and a table. View onto the swimming pool. We stayed in room 213. Breakfast was included and great choice. Staff lovely. Especially pool bar staff, can't do enough to help. Lifeguard lady was so happy and lovely again couldn't do enough for you. Nice location. Quiet night (Los Cristianos) if you want or noisy night (playa las America) if you want. Had some lovely days out, Siam park twice, monkey world, boat ride to see whales and dolphins. Would definitely visit again. More
2nd Visit to St George
I have just return from a very enjoyable week in Tenerife. Once again we stayed at the St.George in Los Christianos. Since our visit last year major renovations have been carried out. All the apartments have had a complete make over and now look fresh and modern. Microwaves have now been added but I can't help thinking basic items like a proper kettle would be useful. Breakfast is now available in the restaurant and there was always a very good selection. Food is also available at the pool bar although it often seemed to take a long time to be cooked. The pool area was quite, there were plenty of sun beds but a few more umbrellas would be a good idea, it gets very hot at times and the sun can be quite fierce. A special mention must be made about the lady pool attendant. She was extremely helpful and took a great deal of care of those around the pool. She often went off to find us an umbrella, cut fresh aloe Vera for us to help mild sunburn and found swimming aids for the little girl in our group. The hotel is in a good location being only a few minutes walk from the beach and a good selection of restaurants and shops. My only complaint about the hotel is the mixed message they are giving in regard to their clients. We made our booking through Thompson and were allowed to book both adults and children. On arrival we were greater with the receptionist telling us that they were an adult only hotel and were told that we might have to move to another location. We were eventually allowed to stay and then began to notice the high chairs in the restaurant, notices about children using the pool and other children around the complex. It was all very confusing! We were also told that the intention is for the hotel to become a 18 - 30's venue - can't see how that is going to work in such a quite location!More
