Excellent Easter Sun Destination
Our remit was Easter sun, all inclusive, fairly cheap for a week. At £434 for the Catalonia Punta del Rey, was bang on the requirements. We stopped in a Premium Room with a Seaview balcony (529). It was all we needed, with the bonus of UK terrestrial channels on TV if required. WiFi was fairly good in the room also. Clean room as a base to our sunbathing quest! All inclusive option was bang on. Breakfast and Dinner in the buffet restaurant were superb tbh, plentiful, varied and tasty. It was that good, we didn't take up the A La Carte offering. Lunch from the pool bar was self serve and good. Drinks were superb also.....beer and soft drinks on tap.....busily frequented bar area but didn't wait long for great, friendly service. Cava was enjoyed by the other half! Weather was great for April. Pool area was clean and busy. We chose a nice spot on a raised terrace, away from the poolside, but unfortunately to guarantee the sunbeds you wanted, one of your party had to join the queuing masses around 0735 ð¤£ð WiFi in our chosen area was not available. Activities and entertainment programme was pretty good throughout the day and evening, and the animacion in the evening was pleasantly good. Would come back again for sure..... Bargain!More
Last minute holiday.
Get away with friends. Booked only a few weeks before and got a bargain holiday. Excellent transfer. Speedy book in. Food, always plenty and something for everyone. Rooms were clean, comfortable and towels were changed regularly. Noise was mostly at a minimal. Pool areas adequate and generally able to get beds (for six) together. I would return again and recommend The Punta Del Rey to others.More

Relaxing break at Punta de Ray
Excellent value for money. Staff very hardworking, all staff were very polite and friendly. Meals and restaurant food very good. It was our first inclusive holiday and what a pleasure it was not to have to wait in line for drinks or food. We had heard many horror stories but was served at all times extremely quickly. We would most definitely return to this hotel and recommend to others.More
Relaxing Family Vacations
We had an amazing and relaxing Vacations! We been greeted by reception personnel which were happy and smiley, they have promptly checked us in and gave us the room on the 6th floor. Cause we have arrived after 15:30 - they have kindly explained us where we could get some snack before dinner then We were directed to our room. Rooms are spacious and nice, we had everything we need - toiletries, WI-FI in all rooms and hotel, TV and etc., we were really happy with our rooms. Balcony - amazing, we had views both with mountains from one side and ocean from the other. We had wine and snacks like nuts and crisps from the hotel bar on our balcony every evening and in the morning we were watching sunrise with the coffee. Buffet - amazing! Breakfast was always filled with warm bread, rolls and croissants. They have the chief station where we were getting freshly made omelettes. The most amazing was - Bottles of Prosecco in the morning!!! Lunch and dinner were different every day with quality and delicious meals! We were left impressed cause the amount off sea food served - impressing. From shrimps and mussels to any fish you could imagine cooked and presented in different ways. Hotel offers freshly made coffees and quality drinks. Swimming pool area is spacy enough - there was always a space there. Jacuzzis where a good addition and a water was always warm. Entertainment throw the day and evening show - amazing, they really work hard to impress you! We really enjoyed live cooking show of paella! Disco and bar was a nice finish to the day! Location of the hotel is amazing, flowers and greenery everywhere, picturesque views. Black sand beach just 5 min away - offering nice beach and plenty of local cafes. Solarium was amazing - the views there and sound of the ocean, ohh we wish we could come back! We have really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. That were really very relaxing holidays with perfect weather!More
