Room With a View
We have just returned from a glorious 10 day holiday in this hotel. We had a Club room with ocean view on the 4 th floor. The bed room was large and airy with a fridge we could fill with our own drinks, iron and ironing board, excellent air conditioning and 2 sets of bath robes and slippers. The bathroom was large with separate shower cubicle and a bath,2 washbasins and toilet. The towels were changed 2 x times a day. The balcony terrace had views of the lovely gardens, the pools and the ocean ,there were 2 full size beach beds to relax on on as well as chairs and table. It was quiet and restful, the whole hotel has an ambiance of space and and peace. We noted that access was easy for people with mobility problems. We had half board ,the breakfast buffet provided everything that you could wish for .The evening buffet was varied and again the food was top class. Congratulations to the Chef, even the notoriously picky French agreed that many of the dishes were absoulutely delicious.gentlemen should note the dress code. The poolside cafe was a good place for lunch. There is a salt water pool and a warmer fresh water pool with areas for children. We paid a little extra for Club membership which gave us access to the Club Room.A great place for a pre dinner drink or fast breakfast if you are in a rush. The staff were courteous and attentive and safety conscious at all times. There are some shops nearby and the back gates give access to a traffic free walk by the sea if you want to go farther afield. Thank you to The Sheraton.More
Lovely weekend escape
Quite big hotel with good breakfast and dinner (buffet); not quite next to busy places; ideal for those that want to have a break and enjoy the pool and good weather Our room was spacious with a small balcony and a view to the sea. Staff was very friendly; pool towels are offered every day; We were pleasantly surprised to see that his hotel was 100% friendly towards disabled guestsMore

Relaxing first wedding anniversary
My wife and I have just returned from a week at Sheraton La Caleta resort in Costa Adeje. What a great holiday! The hotel is a bit further south than where we have stayed before and therefore is a bit quieter than we are used to. That said the hotel is magnificent with great rooms and not too many people to prevent us getting a sunbed everyday! it started when we arrived at the hotel and spoke to a young lady from Belgian processed our admission efficiently and effectively. We mentioned that we were there for our Wedding Anniversary and immediately she arranged for bottle of Presecco to be sent to the room for when we arrived in it. he main restaurant was buffet style and was excellent with lots of choice. We didn't try the Japanese or Spanish themed restaurants. The staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful.in particular Jasmin, Diana, Maria and Miguel who genuinely wanted you to enjoy your food. We saw a number of guests in wheelchairs and it is obvious that these guests were satisfied with the amenities. A couple of minor things we could say could have been better. Our balcony was on the small size. Apart from our last night when a DJ played some brilliant old style Jazz and Soul music, we found the entertainment a little bit low key. We will definitely go back to this hotel and would recommend it to everybody.More
Lovely Hotel in what seems to be a quiet area
Stayed here with 22 work colleagues for 2 nights! Just to say we were and are a quiet bunch so this wasn't your normal crowd. It was just a chilled work reward. I want to say first seemed to be a few guests in wheel chairs and I thought I'd mention this as maybe this is a chosen and good location for wheelchair users. Such a lovely looking hotel, cannot give much or a review as didn't see the hotel and area that much but I'll give what I can. Check in approx 3pm. Room was such a big size and had a view of the sea. Balcony was nice but this is a non smoking hotel. Bathroom was amazing to get ready in, double sink, toilet in its own room as was shower...mirrors everywhere which was fab! Toweled robe and hair dryer provided. X2 pools which are salt water mixed and very nice, the second pool is nice and spacious. Plenty of Loungers with tables and a pool bar and restaurant. Had a nice pimms for €8 and a margerita pizza in the day. The beach is just behind the second pool but I didn't go and see as it just looked like lots of stacked pebbles? Breakfast was just amazing, so much choice..,had about 3 plates in the morning!! Freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh blocks of honey! Dinner was equally amazing, with the choice of different foods to be cooked in front of you. You also have the option the eat outside by the first pool which as night is delicately lit. I did get lost walking around this hotel! Staff friendly also..only one downfall is that our air con didn't work the whole 3 days and after informing reception nothing was done. But it doesn't matter it was still a lovely place to stay. Fab time fab hotel xxMore
