“Art Deco with a Spanish twist – this stylish escape is a break from the norm.”
Art Deco meets traditional Spanish here. It’s an unusual mix, but it certainly works. Take the handmade glass dome above the reception. Depicting the stars and constellations you can see from the hotel, it’s the crowning glory to an ornate Art Deco extravaganza. Tall indoor palms soar upwards beside wrought-iron balustrades and pink armchairs are dotted around the chessboard tiled floor.

The exterior, meanwhile, resembles a tropical paradise. Pathways meander through exotic botanical gardens filled with palm trees, flowers and fountains. Nestled amid all this are circular landscaped pools with little bridges and islands. Waterfalls and rock features complete a picture of pool perfection. And there’s ample space on paved terraces and within the gardens to lie back on comfy sun-beds and enjoy that castaway feeling.

Guest rooms are as stylish as the rest of the hotel. Luxurious and elegant with wood-paneling and tiled floors, they’re decorated in tranquil shades of taupe and blue.

The hotel is right above the waters edge, and a lift whisks you down to Playa Fanabe beach. You’ve also got direct access to the seafront promenade. Turn one way and you’re within easy reach of lively

Forget high-rises and neon strips, Costa Adeje is life on the quiet side. Newly built, up-market and oozing tranquillity, this charming town spreads out from the glittering sands of the famous El Duque Beach. Here you can lie back on the sugary-soft shores or get to grips with some fantastic watersports. Sprinkled with exclusive shops, chic restaurants and luxurious 5-star hotels, this destination really knows how to spoil its guests. Pop into one of the panache boutiques and treat yourself to a stylish outfit that no one will have back home. Or why not head to bustling Playa De Las Americas or to the island's capital city, Santa Cruz, where you’ll be in retail heaven? After dark, work up an appetite with a moonlit stroll along the promenade, and when the enticing aromas from the many inviting eateries gets all too much go and tuck into a traditional Canaries dish or two. End a perfect day relaxing at a beachfront table with a bottle of wine, as you listen to the soothing sounds of the Atlantic waves crashing on the sand. Bliss.
