Having notified the Hotel of our return booking and preference of room location, we were well pleased by our welcome and room allocation. Checking - in was quick and efficient. The only criticism of the Hotel is the quality of the WiFi . The beds were comfortable ,the housekeeping was excellent with daily changes of linen and towelsMore
I visited here with my wife and our 12 year old son from Feb 18-25th. Never been to Costa Adeje before , and after this visit will certainly be returning. We picked this hotel , and to be honest there is cheaper around the Adeje area , I requested a room on the 4th (top) floor before we went and ..Got it ! (Gracias)... We arrived in the evening in a fast taxi , and at first was, a bit disapointed that it wasnt facing the pool , but once up in the morning if you look at the photo i have included , the sun came up over the mountain and you would get the sun into the early afternoon . We had room 456 which was second from the end of the gable end , as i said with a great view of the mountain and down to your right could see the beach area.. The hotel room couldnt be faulted ,the bathroom had a terrific shower to start with and the maid ( who i must say to the Management done a great job and always smiling and saying Hola ) well done to her. Came every day to clean the room and leave fresh towels. We went on a B/B basis , and donr the breakfast on our first morning , and didnt go back ..nothing to do with the food just liked to get out there and try somewhere different . Hotel done a all inclusive basis as well . The bar area was good to relax at with entertainment in the evening , which being honest wasnt the best , but theres so many places out there with entertainment , The bar was reasonably priced compared to other places . The pool area was fine and always plenty of beds . Had a kids area which had a football court ,basketball nets , which my wee boy loved and a zip wire to keep kids entertained , Roof top pool wasnt the biggest ,and with looking at photos i thought the pool would be so much larger , but a great area with a bar to relax and catch the sun . Take a walk down to Fanabe beach ,..ok it is down a hill that you have to walk up , but even to the unfitest it isnt that bad .. Some great restaurants down there and not pricey either .. If its a beeryour after , you could get one for ,1 euro to 1.50. If they dont advertise the price outside be prepared to pay 2.50 to 3 euros. This is a lovely area , and one we should have came to a long time ago ,and will certainly be back . Would definetly use this Hotel again ,as we had a great time overall . Seen some negative comments before we came , but my honest opinion is give it a try ....we will Gracias Fanabe sur mer !!More
Lovely friendly hotel
This is a lovely family friendly hotel. The staff are excellent, from the smiling receptionists, to the energetic animation team, who absolutely excelled and I Ioved seeing the dancing palm tree called Gofi every morning. The dining room staff were nice too, though some a little tense at times, but this may have been because it was quite busy. The pool area is good, as some of the other reviews say, some of it is in the shadow at times but this can be quite refreshing when it gets too hot. Water was cool but nice. Food was OK but not great at the poolside cafe. Cocktails were fine. The chefs for the dining room caters for a wide range of tastes, breakfast has everything from cereal, eggs and toast to spanish omelette, fruit and salad. The coffee from the machine isnt great but the hot chocolate from it is delicious. Dinner/lunch is good too.... lots of variety, two live cooking stations from salmon to steak. Desserts are great too.. highly recommend the white chocolate fountain. The room itself was a bit dated I thought but having said this, they were spotless and provided everything we needed. We didn't see any insects whatsoever except a few harmless ants around the trees at the pool, no issues with insects at all. The hotel is well located, just a short walk down to the beach, but it does have a hill going back. We had a room request from the hotel and they issued this no problem. My Husbands birthday was during our visit and they sent us up some lovely champagne. At night, the hotel provided entertainment but I felt it was for a certain age group and mostly 70's hits. It was well attended every night though! The hotel was very quiet at night-time and rarely heard any voices or noises. Rooftop was lovely and quiet but very hot. Rooftop pools were freezing! A great trip, very relaxing and would recommend. The staff make this hotel and it is well managed.More
Exceptionally well run
In February,we had our second visit to this hotel & it reconfirmed our thoughts after the first one. It was nice going back as we had done all the exploring first time round & were ready to go on arrival. The hotel's facilities had improved with two extra pools & a children's area in a safe part away from the central pools & in addition to what they already had. Also, bike hire had been added. Rooms are large, not luxurious but very comfortable with good sized beds & spotless. The daily cleaning cannot be faulted & the staff are very polite & considerate. It's quite a large hotel but we found the rooms & corridors quiet at all time. There is a balcony with a table, chairs & a clothes drying rack attached to the wall. Also, the room has a fridge but no tea & coffee making equipment. Lifts plentiful & efficient. The food, buffet style, is very good, fresh at all times & such a huge variety that caters for all needs. The dining room is large but run with military precision. There are several gift shops on campus, beautician, hairdresser, gym, jacuzzi, etc. & entertainment at night. Hotel is situated up a hill from the sea front but it only takes a few minutes to walk there & back & the whole area is clean, attractive & on a bus route. Opposite the hotel's front is a variety of shops, including a very good underground supermarket. Next to hotel is a large car park, free to use, & twice a week there is a market there for tourists but prices are good. I would like to mention the hairdresser/beautician, who I consider excellent.More
