This beautiful colonial-style hotel teams a good pool scene with a convenient location in the heart of Playa Fanabé.
If you like getting out and about on holiday, the Colon Guanahani Hotel is perfect. The property is less than a five-minute walk from a sandy, crescent-shaped bay, and the smart shops and restaurants in Playa Fanabé.

The hotel itself is really smart. It’s made up of tall, colonial-style buildings that are painted in a rich terracotta colour, and come with grand-looking windows with floor-to-ceiling glass panels. The whole complex is edged by tropical gardens and glossy palm trees, and, at the centre of it all, there are two huge saltwater swimming pools.

Another big talking point is the hotel’s spa. It’s a tranquil space that features a sauna and a string of massage cabins, and you can book in for anti-stress packages if you really want to unwind.

When it comes to dining, there’s an à la carte restaurant serving up tasty around-the-world favourites. It’s got a large outdoor terrace, too, so you can enjoy your meals in the fresh air.
