This grand hotel gives you three pools and a setting just 5-minutes’ walk from the beach.
This place was given a makeover in 2014. It has a grand, colonial feel and is edged by tropical gardens, at the centre of which lie two huge pools. And it’s less than a 5-minute walk from a sandy bay and the smart shops and restaurants in Playa Fanabé.
Breakfast and dinner are covered in the buffet restaurant, while lunch comes courtesy of the pool bar. Both have large terraces so you can eat outside. The massage menu in the spa is well worth a look, too.
The restaurant serves buffet breakfast and dinner with show cooking and themed evenings. For eating al fresco, there's a large outdoor terrace. There's an extra charge for dinner if you're staying Bed and Breakfast.
Large balcony or terrace doors let in plenty of light in this stylish superior twin room and give you views of the pool scene. It sleeps up to three with twin beds and an extra bed. On the flatscreen satellite TV you'll get some music channels. While in the bathroom, you have a separate shower and bath. Plus you are treated with some extras like bathrobes, slippers, and fruit and water on arrival.

We are a 23 year old couple, if you want a peaceful relaxing hotel this is the one. Roof top pool was great and there was loads of nice little bars locally. Highly recommend jet skiing, Siam water park, buggies, renting a car and driving up the mountains. Breakfast is really nice. Towels and bedding changed daily. It is also a 5 minute taxi from Las Americas, perfect if you want the best of both worlds.
A relaxing, peaceful holiday!
A lovely, adult only hotel after which you will be blissfully relaxed come the end of your stay. The hotel staff are great, the pools are excellent, especially the rooftop one. Food is always fresh and hot (the show cooking area is great!). There is also an option every evening to have a fish or meat dish served at your table. The outside dining area is as if you were sitting in a plaza somewhere! Prices are acceptable for a hotel of its stature.
It is without doubt the quietest hotel we have ever stayed in.
Lobby free computer internet is extremely slow if working at all.
If you fancy a long lie the cleaners moving furniture in close by rooms may wake you up.
Evening entertainment is about average.
It may be too quiet for some, e.g. there is no "Animacion" at all.
If you want to be refreshed and chilled then this is the hotel for you!More
This is a lovely hotel if you want a quiet and relaxing break. As a teacher I really value a 'child free' holiday and this hotel is the perfect place. The room was clean, modern and opened out onto the poolside - which was just wonderful.
The food was always extremely good although the evening meals were very much the same every evening. The hotel is well placed to find somewhere lovely to eat at a very reasonable cost each evening though so no problems there.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Will definitely go backMore

Had such a lovely stay at the Colon Guanahani hotel. Beautiful grounds and some good spa facilities. The pool and jacuzzi upstairs are really nice and have an amazing view. The food wasn't really to my taste however, I am a very fussy eater and I can't fault them in this aspect as there was such a wide range of foods to choose from, especially at the breakfast buffet. I love the fact that it's an adults only hotel which meant it was nice and quiet. The rooms are very modern and absolutely spotless. The treatment my friend and I received at the hotel from the staff was top notch and I could've stayed there for weeks on end.More

The only things stopping a 5 star review is that the evening entertainment wasn't that good. Also one day whilst we was resting in the room a member of staff came barging in without warning to remove towels from balcony, when I complained the person at reception didn't seem to understand what I was saying and went on deaf ears. Can't fault anything else.
Costa Adeje was a bit quiet for our liking but Las Americas is a short taxi drive away and a bit more livelier but still an excellent enjoyable holiday.More
