This grand hotel gives you three pools and a setting just 5-minutes’ walk from the beach.
This place was given a makeover in 2014. It has a grand, colonial feel and is edged by tropical gardens, at the centre of which lie two huge pools. And it’s less than a 5-minute walk from a sandy bay and the smart shops and restaurants in Playa Fanabé.
Breakfast and dinner are covered in the buffet restaurant, while lunch comes courtesy of the pool bar. Both have large terraces so you can eat outside. The massage menu in the spa is well worth a look, too.
The restaurant serves buffet breakfast and dinner with show cooking and themed evenings. For eating al fresco, there's a large outdoor terrace. There's an extra charge for dinner if you're staying Bed and Breakfast.
The suite gives you more space with a separate lounge area. It sleeps up to three with twin beds and an extra bed in the lounge. The satellite TV has music channels and you get some extras like bathrobes and slippers, and fruit and water on arrival. While in the bathroom, you have a bath and shower plus some toiletries. Outside, you have a balcony or terrace with views of the pool.

First time in Tenerife. Costa Adeje is supposedly upmarket, (and probably is when compared to los Americas/Christianos), but look towards the mountains and see the relentless march of the row after row of concrete pill-boxes that have sprouted in the resort! - disappointing! - and we also found that the immediate area has its share of fairly cheap and tacky shops and bars that don't really match the resort's client demographic. But, to be clear: in general the area seems to attract a better class of middle-aged and family tourist. Benidorm it isn't! Then - still on shopping - you have the likes of Cartier etc., in the Plaza del Duque retail centre but with nothing very much in between; unless you find the little craft shops in the Mirador - these are excellent.
To an extent, then, the hotel rescued our holiday. Lovely staff! The housekeeping staff would always smile a word of greeting and did an excellent job of keeping the hotel and grounds spotless; when you passed by Reception, they would always look up and smile and wish you a good day; and the restaurant staff were superb and would take really good care of you. The rooms are good. We had a look at one on the ground level, facing out onto the pool, and although for us this lacked a certain privacy, it's ideal for people who want immediate access to their little terrace area and to the poolside sun loungers. We were happier with our room on the 3rd level, overlooking the garden and walkway between blocks, and with a more private balcony.
The food was generally good, to excellent, with the only issue being the occasional lack of vegetables. Plenty of variety, though, and always, for example, two choices of soup and about four meat and/or seafood options available to be cooked for you at the grill, as well as the full range of cold meats and salads and other ready-cooked trays of casseroles etc.. The range of desserts was, if anything, a little narrower, but overall we were very pleased with what we had. The only downsides with the hotel are that the atmosphere in the main dining room is a little bit sterile; and also the bar/entertainment area is under-used and you feel a bit self-conscious being one of only a small audience who were appreciating the otherwise excellent acts and singers. Pity they don't have more support! - as they are really very good.
Plenty of sun loungers (towels provided) and plenty of quiet spots if you seek them out. We tended to use the rooftop area and pool and found this very pleasant. All the pools are heated.
Would recommend this hotel 100% and it's no surprise that people come back here again and again.More

relaxing adult hotel
Fantastic experience at this hotel, just returned ,staff cant be more polite although relaxed at the same time,no white shirts and black trousers here but very smart uniform at different times of the day ....food is first class and lots of fresh cooked seafood and meat to order, pools warm and spotlessly clean as is everywhere in the hotel, we found it just a short stroll to the beaches of fanabe and del duque which was by far the more upmarket end of the area , more peaceful and relaxing although food and drink prices reflect this ! our one and only complaint was on arrival we were told that although a higher floor and pool view as we had requested was 'not' available ?? after reading reviews about the rooms overlooking roads and carparks this was my only concern , our room was on the fourth floor , great ..... but looking straight out onto the busy road and roundabout where cars were changing gear constantly ,the hotel had been booked since april so cant understand why ????? so beware ..... we would love to revisit the colon but with a better placed room . Lovely adult only hotel
This was our first visit to Tenerife. Costa Adeje had been recommended as an upmarket and pleasant resort to stay in. However we found areas of the resort very tacky, lots of cheap shops and our first impression was not great. To the north of the resort, away from the marina was by far the best area, lots of lovely bars and some super restaurants. We were very impressed with the hotel, on arrival we were escorted to our room and shown how to set the air conditioning, the safe, select different channels on the tv etc which we found really helpful. The room was lovely, with a luxurious bathroom. We overlooked the swimming pool which was certainly preferable to the road but because we were overlooked had to have net curtains at the windows which made the room seem dark at times. Every area of the
hotel was spotless, the staff really helpful and friendly and incredibly hard working. Swimming poos were clean and warm!! a pleasure to swim in. The rooftop pool and seating area was beautiful. We had selected the bed and breakfast option because there were so many restaurants located nearby, and the breakfast was always delicious, nicely presented, constantly being replenished and the quality of food was excellent. The terrace outside the dining room was a lovely place to sit and have breakfast, dinner or cocktails whilst watching the evening entertainment. I would have liked to have had a non smoking area for those of us who like to eat outside but not with smokers all around us. I would certainly stay at this hotel again, we went at the end of September and the weather was perfect. A most enjoyable holiday.More
A lovely Hotel with all you could ask for, great location, very attentive and pleasant staff always ready to greet with a smile or a word. Attention to room linen and cleanliness was 1st class and a shower to die for! Anyone thinking of the Costa Adeje would do well to consider this hotel. Good point is that this hotel is adults only but for the people that would want one with facilities for children the Adrian Family Group do have 2 other hotels close by which cater for this and I am sure up to the same standard.More
