This hotel has a hundred ways to cure your hunger pangs, with four top-class eateries that include a fine dining place with a six-course tasting menu.
Food is the main event at the Baobab Suites. The fine dining restaurant is masterminded by one of Tenerife’s top chefs, and there’s a shop selling fresh pastries. You can also get breakfast ingredients delivered daily to your room.
Duque Beach is right on your doorstep, and you’ll have views of the Atlantic Ocean while you sunbathe by the pool. Inside, the ultra-modern rooms come with a fully kitted-out kitchen, and if you upgrade to one of the luxury suites you’ll get a private pool.

These apartments are amazing, probably the best i have ever stayed in out with the UK. Our Room MM206 is spacious, extremely clean and modern. This suite has a hot tub on the balcony and the views during the day and at night are out of this world. Unfortunately one of the two pools was closed for maintenance from the 8th of May to the 25th of May. Which has been an inconvenience for us, but not for a couple who have decided to ignore the signs everywhere and use it any way whilst it looks like a building site. This cause frustration with all the other guests who took notice of the pool closure, but this is not the Baobab staffs fault. The only thing I would ask of the Baobab is to continue heating the pools through the month of May. The climate in may is warm but the pool was so cold myself, my husband and my three year old son were unable to enjoy the pool as it was literally freezing. Apart from that this place is perfect, heated pool would put it up to a 5 star ðð»More
Relaxing with good food
Baobab Suites can be what you want, extremely private, sports complex for the fitness fanatics and great food at Zucas for those who are into fine dining. There is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants, however you need to be fit for the walk back up the hill, taxis are the best bet and cheap as chips. The area in general is superb for couples and the young at heart I would certainly recommend it.More

Utterly awful. Attempted burglary and dreadful management reaction
We stayed here with 2 other families. We all had children age 4 and under. The hotel weren't able to put us all alongside each other as it involved upgrading one of the family's for our entire stay so allowed them instead to stay alongside us for 4 or the 10 nights. On the 4th night we were food poisoned after eating at the sports club cafe and had a disrupted nights sleep which as it turns out was lucky as at 4.30am whilst up because our 1 year old was having a further episode of diarrhoea, a man was seen entering our room via our balcony doors. He had managed to prize open the doors on the ground floor. My 3 year old witnessed the terrifying experience. Luckily no one was hurt and nothing was taken. Shaken and traumatised we were offered an alternative room. We didn't feel able to stay at Baobab any longer and so moved to an alternative hotel with security. Baobab has no security. When questioned, the manager advised there are cameras (pretty useless unless being monitored). You can walk into this complex without passing reception where there are no security gates or key entries. Our holidays will never be the same again. The managers advice? "You know this will be a lesson not to relax so much on holiday" (just in case that is what you go on holiday for.....) thanks Baobab for the truly awful experience. We will never be returning ever again. More
