Sitting around a pretty cove, Cala Santandria has all the ingredients for a great summer break. Centred around a beautiful sugary-sand beach that boasts a blue flag award, it's ideal for those who simply want to get away and unwind in peace and quiet. To start with, the countryside spreads out in every direction, with winding lanes bordered by flower-filled fields. A great way to explore the land is to hire a bike and take a gentle cruise. If that seems too energetic for the kind of holiday you had in mind, head for the golden sands and stretch out to the sound of lapping waves. Sun loungers and parasols provide shade here and there's plenty to entertain you in the way of watersports. You'll find pedalos, windsurfing, snorkelling and plenty more besides. And if you're feeling a bit peckish, grab a seat at one of the nearby beach bars. Heading into the town centre, you'll find a liberal sprinkling of shops where you can pick up a few necessities, as well as souvenirs. There's also a few charming and reasonably priced restaurants dotted around. Evening-wise, things are mainly hotel based, but there are a few bars offering late drinks. For something a bit livelier, head over to neighbouring Cala Blanca, or the beautiful town of Ciutadella.
