You’ll be struck by the calm ambience as soon as you step into La Quinta’s plush, spacious lobby. Staff are ever-present, eager to assist yet discreet. In fact, if La Quinta has a trump card, they’re it. Guests always comment on their can-do attitude and their friendliness.
But it’s only part of the story. There’s an air of exclusivity here. It’s certainly a handsome-looking place. The architecture is quite colonial in style, and traditional materials such as wood, wrought iron and marble are all used to great effect.
Guest rooms are spacious and elegant. They’ve been tastefully dressed in light, airy shades that contrast nicely against dark wood. The suites are even bigger. And whichever you choose, expect exclusive touches like flatscreen televisions, and bathrobes and slippers. There’s even a pillow menu seeing to it you get a good night’s sleep.
Talking of bedrooms, there are only 82 at this hotel. That means there’s a very relaxed, uncrowded feel about the place. Clinching a sun bed and parasol on the sun terrace shouldn’t be a problem. And you’re not likely to feel crowded when you sink into the wide semi-circular pool either.
Last but not least, dining is pretty special at La Quinta. It’s buffet style at breakfast, but at dinner the main course is served by waiters. And at midday, the bar by the pool serves up delicious grills.
