First Choice Kids’ Club caters for 3 to 12 year olds – so brothers and sisters can join in the fun together. And most of it’s completely free. It runs 5 days a week and – outside of peak season – there are parent and toddler sessions for under 3s, too. For your peace of mind, all First Choice Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least 2 of them on duty at all times. Plus there’s a strict sign-in and out system.

Just got back from a week here with my wife and 20m old daughter. We had a great time. Hotel is nice and clean and rooms are good for the price you pay. Having a toddler, it was great to have the kitchenette so we could make her food when she needed it. Pools are clean and tidy and its nice having the bars nearby. With regards to bar staff, I want to mention Toni. He was a lovely bloke and an excellent barman. You're lucky if he serves you and he is great with the kids laughing and joking.
Cant comment on evening entertainment as my daughter is too young for this and went to bed by 8pm so we didn't see any of it.
Only a 5 min walk to the beach which was great and the beach was lovely. My daughter had a great time digging up half the beach while we were there.
With regards to the food, its nice for the money you pay. Typical buffet food you get in an all inclusive of tis type. Plenty of seating so you're not fighting to find somewhere to sit and eat.
There are only 2 reasons why I have not voted this hotel as excellent and that is firstly, the food times. The restaurant only served dinner 7-9 which is not idea for my daughter who was hungry by 6. I would suggest serving 6-9 like most all inclusives seem to do. Secondly, no TV's working the bar area. I wouldn't usually mention this however with the euro's on, many of the dads (and of course mums) that like the football had to go elsewhere.
Other than the above 2 things, i would highly recommend this hotel to all families with kids under 10 as it is a perfect place for the kids to be safe and have fun.More
I've just come home from an all inclusive week (11th-18th June) here with my children 12 & 4, my mum and 14 year old sister.
This place was fantastic, apartments were extremely clean and cleaners came and changed bedding and towels twice in this week, very efficient and polite too, all the staff there were always helpful and friendly, couldn't have asked for better service. The pools were all very clean and tidy the children's splash pool is great for the youngsters, mestral pool great for all ages with games, quizzes and activities throughout the whole day, and the llebeig pool nice for relaxing and having a general splash around with the kids, mealtimes were great, buffet style, a good variety of foods for all.... My mum being a vegan anticipated having to prepare her own food in the apartment but lots of vegan and vegetarian friendly options available, was all very fresh and well cooked with a child's selection too, waiting staff were extremely efficient and polite. Evening entertainment with Tommy and Morgan was lively upbeat and kids thoroughly enjoyed each night, how those to find the energy to do what they do everyday is beyond me but they do a Fantastic job as do all the other reps within the resort...
Overall we had a fantastic time and will be returning again next year hopefully!!!
Pictures are of the view from my balcony overlooking the llebeig pool.
Ideal first family holiday...
Just got back from a week (8th-15th of june) at the mestral and Llebeig apartments...on arrival we was told we had to pay additional 4 euros a night for a cot which we hadn't been told about in our local thomson shop!!! We was located on the quieter Llebeig side..we had a one bedroom apartment which was all in good clean condition, the air con being a plus..two downers were the TV only having two foreign channels when we was told we would have English channels (euro2016 were on!!!!!! And having to carry a pushchair up to flights of stairs got a bit annoying especially when our 18 month old was asleep....we were all inclusive which meant going into las dunas for our meals...breakfast and lunchtime were ok (apart from my wife was shocked at finding something that we both thought was a maggot!!!!!!!) Dinnertime got quite manic as it didn't open till 7 and everyone got there at the sametime which obviously caused big que's and lack of tables...another downside were the birds which often left bird pooh on seats and tables!!! Evening entertainment wasn't great...they said they have a mini disco every night but I wouldn't call it a disco to be fair!!!! Outside the complex Santo tomas is very quiet and small with only a handful of shops restaurants and bars but good access to the lovely beaches...in all we had a lovely first holiday abroad as a family of three but would we stay here again....probably not....More
Ok For Kids
Just got back from a ten day stay at the Mestral and Llebeig Apartments. Food is some of the better all inclusive's I've had (relative to its star rating), although the dinning experience as a whole is far too chaotic and loud. Apartments are practical and reasonably sized, beds are very firm, which wasn't a problem for me but my partner suffered. Swimming pools are fine, splash pool is great for 3-10 year olds. Evening entertainment is very poor, it's basically left to the overworked TUI staff with a sprinkling of cheap external performers. Bar areas are basic and the tv's are never on, even for the England football games!!
The resort is nice, there's a path that runs parallel with the beach and it's lovely for evening walks. The beach is nice for sunbathing and the sea is shallow, calm and warmish.
In summary, it's a nice holiday for the kids but pretty boring for the adults. More
This really is a great place to stay for families. The resort is quite so don't expect lists of bar, restaurants and shops. It has just enough to have a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle. I went with my wife, two children aged 8 and 3, along with my mother and farther in law. We were joined by my sister in law and her husband with their 18 month old son a few days latter. We all stayed on the Llebeig side which is the quiet side of the hotel and we were really please. We were all inclusive and the food options were good, busy at certain times but did not spoil our dinner. Accommodation was great, clean, tidy and spacious apartments. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday in a quiet location of Menorca with only a very short transfer from the airport. More
