First Choice Kids’ Club caters for 3 to 12 year olds – so brothers and sisters can join in the fun together. And most of it’s completely free. It runs 5 days a week and – outside of peak season – there are parent and toddler sessions for under 3s, too. For your peace of mind, all First Choice Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. The food was great in las Dunas the beach was like a post card picture, the resort is quiet and very nice. We will be back next year. More

Half Term Holiday
We stayed at these apartments for 10 nights arriving just before half term - first time for us in Minorca. There were 5 in the party including 3 children aged 8,7 and 3. We opted for a kids den and were given a 2 bed apartment overlooking splash park. We all had a fantastic holiday, weather was very hot, and as said on many occasions our apartment was big and spacious and was cleaned 3 times during our stay. It was very clean, really modern décor and the kids loved sleeping on pull out sofa bed. The only down side was for the kids den, there was no tv in the room and you had to pay 100Euro deposit for use of a play station - which we didn't bother doing. Not realising that Minorca starts closing down in October we initially arrived to self cater, but found that there was only 1 supermarket open in the resort which had little or non frozen/meal products in - hence we upgraded to fully inclusive direct with hotel. The food was plentifully and varied and there was something different served during each service - the only negative side was a couple of nights when more people arrived you had to queue for food. The kids loved the first choice run children's club and day time activities such as pool jumping - and as a family we were at the kids entertainment most nights - really brilliant couldn't rate this high enough. The resort and beach were lovely and in our personal view one of the best on the island - we hired a car from Autos pons ferreries (one next to supermarket opposite Hamilton Court) for the last 4 days and toured the island. We paid the price quoted with free car seats - had no problems with them at all.More

October half term holiday
A great holiday. We had a range of ages with us from 10 to 84 and all had a great time. Very relaxing area, possibly helped by the fact it was the last week so not the busiest time of year. Food was really good and with plenty of choice every meal time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Having free use of the tennis court and a game of crazy golf was enjoyed by all of us as well, and being so close to a great beach is a real plus. The only negatives would be that the welcome meeting was done the following morning so we had to find out a lot of the information ourselves and the Llebeig bar was closed so we had to walk to other bar for a drink.More

1 week in Mestral & Llebeig.
We had a great time staying at these apartments. My wife, daughter(6), son(3)and my father shared a 3 bed apartment on the Mestral side overlooking the main pool. Lovely clean apartment with plenty of space and great showers. The weather all week was fantastic for the end of October. We were all inclusive and really enjoyed the variety of food on offer at mealtimes. The pools are great, they offer poolside snacks at non meals times just to make sure you eat and drink every half hour. A chap we knew made me chuckle when he wandered past and uttered, " that's another meal I didn't really need". Very accommodating. It's a lovely island and Santo Tomas is an ideal location, 2mins from the beach with crystal clear waters and only 25mins transfer from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Best family holiday we have been on. More

Holiday in Mestral Appartments
Travelled in late September outside school holidays with our 20 month old daughter. The appartment complex was excellent given this is a mid-price holiday. We had a "kid's theme" appartment which is basically a 2 bed with en-suite and seperate bathroom. Full kitchen with microwave and iron (with board) in the bedroom. I think maybe they have been renovated this year as it genuinely was spotless. We were in block D on the Mestral side right by the side of the kids splash pool. No early morning or late (i.e. after 8pm) night noise at all. The complex is fairly small with a main pool, splash pool and bar on the Mestral side. Not sure what's on the Llebeig side. We went all-inclusive and the restaurant is on the other side of the "main" road. Sort of upmarket canteen side with all self service. Food was consistently good quality though and we didn't have a bad meal all week. Some of the choices are repeated throughout the week but repetitive good quality is better than a wide selection of poor quality. Entertainment is next to the restaurant but we didn't really get involved with that. It should be noted that Santa Tomas is very, very small and quiet. Thereis very little to do there other than the beach and hotel entertainment. If you have a toddler you can't get pushchairs to the next resort as it is too hilly. Having said that we got the bus to the two main towns on the island and everything ran according to the timetable so no real problems finding other things to do. We would definitely go all-inclusive again rather than self catering. We went with Thomson and the only negative was that the reps just didn't really bother with us. We didin't get a welcome pack and had to hunt out information. There is an organised trip to the small zoo on the island which was recommended to us. It really was a good day and I'd definitely do that for both kids and adults. Pick up was ~-9:30, zoo is 30 mins away. You are only in the zoo for ~3 hours and there isn't a wide range of animals at all, but lots of interaction with those that are there. You then get a couple of hours in another resort to see something other than Santa Tomas. Cost was 27 Euro per adult of which 12 Euro is zoo entrance. If you've got several kids may be worth hiring a car. Overall a good, relaxed holiday and Mestral is somewhere we'll probably see as our default holiday for the next couple of years.More
