Cant wait to go back

We visited here october half term with 4 children aged 2 5 8 and 11. Couldnt of asked for a better place for the kids. The rooms were all clean and spacious. The food was amazing and the pools were spectacular. Our kids spend all week in the splash pool and spent evwry evening at the kids disco. They never got bored thanks to the day and night entertainment going on. A small 2min walk to a stunning beach. We went self catering and upgraded to all inclusive on arrival for less than half the price than the travel agents. So worth it. The kids loved the endless drinks ice cream and pool side snacks of burgers chips cookies etc inbetween meals. So excited to go back.More

Sarah L,

A great family holiday

We visited in the first week of October and were lucky to have 25-30 degree heat all week :) We rented a 3 bed apartment in mestral block D and were very happy with it. It was big and clean. It overlooked the children's pool, which can be noisy in the day due to the water fountains. Contrary to what we read, the hotel is very close to the beach. We spent our mornings at the beach and our afternoons round the pool. The pools were great for our 3 year old and the village had lots of play areas for children. We opted not to go all inclusive and instead ate at the two restaurants at either end of the beach. This cost us a bit more than all inclusive but was a bit nicer and had more choice. In October the village is very quiet and so was the pool - great for our young family. We were told that if you go in July or August the pool is rammed full and sun loungers are all taken up. From the uk the 2 hour flight and short (30 minute or less) transfer made this an easy holiday for us with 2 children under 3 years old. More

Fabulous family holiday

We have just returned from staying at the Mestral and Llebeig Apartments. Also with us was our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren aged 4 and 17 months old. We stayed in a three bedroomed apartment which was excellent, spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. We had a second floor apartment which was very safe for the children. Our apartment over looked the children's adventure pool which was fine at this time of the year. The apartments were very quiet at this time of year. There was no noise from the bar at night. The pools were a little cool and could have been warmer especially for the little ones. We were on all inclusive which was the first time we have done this. The food was excellent. The choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent with plenty of choice for children . The apartments are very handy for the beach. Also you didn't have to buy buckets and spades as they had been left by other holiday makers. Also we booked with Thomson at their Blackburn shop and we were able to fly from Manchester and our daughter and family from Stanstead which was great. Thank you Thomson. We will definitely return again.More

Heavely Haven

We had just abandoned the Hamilton Court Apartments and were looking for decent accommodation, we certainly struck Holiday Gold at the Mestral Apartments. Spacious, clean and bright with modern furniture and fittings, 2 televisions and a fully fitted kitchen, two well appointed bathrooms and a large balcony with front and side views. The complex was superbly maintained and had 3 pools, pleasant gardens and a snack bar. There was a further complex for dining and entertainment across the road. Santo Tomas is a small quiet resort with a handful of bars and shops. The bus to Mahon or Cuitadella is convenient for days out..the bus returning for 8pm. Lots of lovely walks in the area but be warned that Binigaus Beach is a favourite haunt of nudists. Our first time in Menorca and it will not be our last. We would rate Mestral apartments as being ideal for families and Santo Tomas is a lovely resort but may be too quiet for some.More
