Great for young families not the ritz but what you'd expect for 3*

Spent a week with hubby, 4 and 6 year old kids in 2 bed kids den. Room fantastic can't fault, really spacious 2 bathrooms bunk beds for the kids maids came twice. Splash pool good but kids got bored after 3 days so wanted to go in other big pools, entertainment is OK nothing that u wouldn't expect from a kids orientated hotel! We upgraded to all inclusive after we ate out on 1st night a round of drinks n 2 adult n 2 kids meals came to €83!! All inclusive price should have been €40 per adult a day and €17 each child but upgrading there we got €35 adults €17 1st child n 2nd child free!! No brainer!! Plenty of choice to eat. Yes birds but your abroad and outside !!!! What else do u expect u can eat inside but it can be warm as no air conditioning. More

Toddler heaven!

A large group of us (7 adults, 2 toddlers, 2 babies!) visited in mid May this year. Overall we were thrilled with our stay! Pros: * Great apartments! Clean, spacious, modern & not too noisy even by the main pools. * Pools are super. The larger pool (Mestral side) was slightly chilly due to the time of year, and although the splash pool wasn't as warm as it could be, the kids loved it in there (age 3)! * Reps! The toddlers LOVED the reps - especially Captain Morgan & Tommy Tomster! * Beach! The beach is fabulous and only a 5 minute walk with board walks down to the front! Soft sand and shallow waters = perfect! Cons: * Mosquitos! We had a few in our room and our baby got bitten on the first night. By no means the complex's fault, but something to be aware of when travelling! We bought foggos for the room & had to keep the windows/doors shut. * Evening meal time. Dinner service didn't start until 7pm, which was ok for the toddlers with the time difference (one hour ahead) but our baby struggled with this. * Snacks. The snacks didn't change and were the same chips/burgers every day if the kids did want to eat early. There could be more variety. The food was overall very good with lots of choice each night. We did miss going out for meals/choosing a restaurant, but that's just our personal preference! The resort itself is very quiet with no real "centre", just apartments/hotels and the beach with one or two shops. Again, we missed having a marina/centre to walk round, but you cannot fault the place for cleanliness and safety! Would go back whilst the children are little as it's ideal for toddlers!! More

Katie H,

First holiday away with 2 year old and 10mth old

Just returned from a lovely holiday. The apartments are fantastic, loads of space, clean and with lovely terrace/balcony. We stayed on the llebeig side, which was quieter and had a lovely play area for the little ones. We enjoyed the food, the restaurant was convenient and our kids were able to adapt to eating later on in the day/night so times weren't a big issue for us. Queuing sometimes took about 10mins, but really wasn't that bad. Yes there are birds, but you are eating outside and my kids loved watching them! We had to pay extra for the cot, but I had read about that so was expecting it. All the staff were lovely and friendly and worked really hard. Pools were great and we never had an issue getting a sunbed when needed. Resort is a lovely chilled out place, just what we wanted with two small children. Also liked the fact we could get drinks and take them back to the room in the evening when the kids had gone to sleep.More

Hannah R,

Excellent Apartments

Stayed for a short break in July. The accomodation was excellent. We stayed in a 3 bedroomed apartment which was modern, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was adequately stocked with everything required for a self catering holiday. All appliances were clean and working. There was also an iron and ironing board and cleaning equipment, which comes in handy! There were 2 bathrooms, one of which was en suite. The bedrooms were spacious with huge wardrobes with hangers, extra pillows and bedding. The living/dining area was a good size with a huge tv with english channels. Air con was brilliant and worked a treat. The balcony was enormous! There was a table and 6 chairs plus a folding airer, which we found useful for drying off towels and swimwear rather than it being strewn over the balcony! Pool areas ( 2large and 1 splashpool) were cleaned daily. The whole complex and gardens are beautifully maintained. The resort is quite small, a few supermarkets which are reasonably priced, a tobacconist, a pharmacy and souvenier shops. The beach is really nice, shallow water and soft sand. There is no nightlife, the whole resort is family focused so by midnight everything is quiet. We will definately return here as the accomodation is so nice ..... its home from home!!More
