First Choice Kids’ Club caters for 3 to 12 year olds – so brothers and sisters can join in the fun together. And most of it’s completely free. It runs 5 days a week and – outside of peak season – there are parent and toddler sessions for under 3s, too. For your peace of mind, all First Choice Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least 2 of them on duty at all times. Plus there’s a strict sign-in and out system.

Overall a lovely holiday enjoyed by all. Summary of thoughts;
Apartment - we had a two bed. Was clean and spacious, plenty of room for wife and I plus two children.
Pools - splash pad was excellent. Ideal for my children who are two and four. The main swimming pools were freezing cold, too cold for my children to swim in.
Food - all inclusive food is not great. For one day is doable, anymore than that o couldn't cope with. The food is fairly standard but very repetitive with lots of fried things!
Staff - approachable and likeable. Although not great at problem resolution. All were very knowledgable on the resort and possible excursions. More
Perfect for young children
Apartment was clean and spacious. Had to pay extra for a cot which we hadn't realised. Spent a lot of time at the splash pad as the pools were very cold which was a shame as we were hoping to help our 4 yr old daughter build her confidence in the pool. Splash pad was great for both our 22 mth old and 4 yr old. We did witness the overflow grate crack and break after a man stepped on it and fell through, staff didn't seem that surprised which makes me think it happens a lot. The resort is very quiet but with the splash pad, beach and bouncy castles it's perfect for young families for a week.More
Very good apartments but..............
Just returned from a week at Maestral. Upon arrival our room was not ready and was asked to wait an hour, so went to the pool bar and had a drink. When we got into the apartment we were very pleased. Had 2 double bedrooms with twin beds, fridge freezer, iron and ironing board, kettle, hairdryer. Large kitchen dining room. One bedroom had en suite and there was also a walk in wet room.
Beds were uncomfortable and hard. That was the only down point on the apartment.
Plenty of us beds around the pools together with umbrellas. Would think that as the summer orogresses then these will be stretched.
Lots of young families, plus other children that probably should have been at school.
Pool entertainment was average at best. Poolside quiz each day, kids splash jumps. Not enough people for Aqua fitness or water polo.
Dining room across the other side of the road at las dunas. There is a bar which is not all inclusive. Mini fair which families have to pay for, which was understandable.
Food was excellent. Plenty of choices and always hot.
Drinks were laid out by the entertainment area. You poured your own beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks. Not a problem
Entertainment was geared around the children. Party dances and a Disney show on Sunday. Kids seemed to enjoy seeing the characters and singing along to Frozen.
The other professional entertainment was a lady with the name Aphrodisiac. I took a paracetamol and went yo bed!
The worst entertainment was in house rep Thomas who someone let loose with a Cabaret section. I felt his embarassment. It was pitifully awful. Why oh why doesn't one of the others reps tell him that he is rubbish. Can't miss him, his catchphrase is Fanrastic, everything is fantastic. Can't fault his enthusiasm. Overall the entertainment is dreadful.
There is also mini golf on site.
St Tomas itself is desolate. There are several hotels but , outside of the hotels, there are very few bars and little entertainment.
My wife and I trekked up the cliff/hill to break the location boredom. It was a nice trek but we stopped at the next beach as we didn't want to intrude on the nudists. We were informed on arrival that there were nudist beaches as apparently nudism is allowed in Minorca.
Overall the apartment complex was superb, entertainment dire and resort itself lacking in things to do. Lack of shops Bars and decent entertainment.
We would not return to St Tomas but would reccomend the complex to young families with children up to about 9 or 10. Not enough to occupy them. Beaches are lovely.
10 out of 10 forfapartments, friendliness of staff, food and helpfulness.
0 out of 10 for entertainment unless you are a child
5out of 10 for resort , mainly for beaches. Take a warm jumper or similar for evenings as it gets very chilly.More
Fantastic.. would definately go again
We returned yesterday and I couldn't fault the place. We were self catering and had a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. We had everything we could need. We were pleased to be in the Llebeig apartments as most of the rep activity and noise during the day was in the Mestral end! We had a great terrace balcony which overlooked the complex. Some overlooked the road! The kids loved the 2 play areas (one old style wooden one at Llebeig end and a newer plastic slide one at the Mestral end). There was plenty of grassy areas to kick a ball or just have the kids run around. Sadly all 3 pools were really cold (time of year!). We managed to play in the fun pool and a dip in the Llebeig pool only a few times. The kids loved the soft play area, trampolines and bouncy castles in the Las Dunas park 6euro (5pm - 10pm) - safe and clean. We also liked it that there were plenty of play areas around Santo Tomas. The beach was fab and only a 5 min stroll away. Very clean and lifeguards visable. As we were self catering so we ate out. Our favourite was Es Pins. Great local menorcan food plus some brit faves too. Not too much competition to be fair, only about 5 restaurants were open as it was early in the season and many hotels offered the all inclusive option. We caught the bus to Mahon. 40 min journey. Very simple but only 4 buses a day. Would definitely recommend these apartments for families and would go back.More
Ideal for families
We stayed with our 2 year old for a week. Santo Tomas is lovely, really nice beach and great for young families.
We found the apartment itself very clean and bright. Balcony a good size and safe. English channels on the tv. Supermarkets close by.
The pools were good too and we used the on site playgrounds a lot.More
