A varied selection of international dishes at breakfast and dinner with show cooking and various themed evenings during the week are on offer here. Just so you know, gentlemen will need to wear full-length trousers to dinner.
our room was quite spacious and kept very clean with towels being changed daily, the beds were firm but comfy and we had no trouble sleeping. The resort itself is small but has everything you could want, it was not over commercialised like so many other resorts especially in Majorca. All the surrounding restaurants served good inexpensive food not that we ate out a lot because the food in the hotel was very good the selection was not huge but what was on offer was done to very high standard, I really enjoyed the breakfasts and of course with it being a proper adults only it was a very easy laid back ambience. The staff were very good and always pleasant with a ready smile the young girl who oversaw the water ti chi was especially nice and would chat with anyone , not a five minute walk away there is a beautiful beach but it can get very crowded there is also a nice walk along the shore line to another beach the sea is clear and lovely to bathe in. Would I return ? definitely More

Great relaxing holiday
My husband and I have visited Menorca on many occasions over the years. This was our first time at the Valentin Star. Check in was excellent and we had emailed asking for a second floor pool view room. We were allocated room number 374. This room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The maids replenished everything and did a great job. The room was in an excellent position. We had the sun from morning until about 5.30 pm.
The food was very good and plenty of choice. Even though it was getting late in the season it did not alter at all. The restaurant manager kept the restaurant impeccable and the waiters and waitresses did a great job.
The pool area was immaculate and plenty of sun beds.
The hotel is central for everything and plenty of places to walk.
We travelled with Jet2 and they were great. We will come back to this hotel one day.More

Just Returned From A Fantastic Holiday
We were lucky enough to get the room we requested, nice and clean, all in all more or less perfect for what we paid, The saying you get what you pay for is true but we felt this hotel was superb value for both food and service for the 2 weeks, the buffet choice blew us away and cant be faulted! ,Hotel is a little dated in places but we found it comfortable enough.it was a long walk to our room so if you are old or disabled I advise you email and ask for a room close to reception, We didn't want to have a pool view that everyone else seemed to be recommending we like to be secluded and away from the crowd so instead we asked for a view of the Marina and it was simply perfect. larger balconies and a real sun trap, not that there was a great deal of that during our 2 weeks, we have stayed here before, and requested the same room and pleased this was given to us.
Special mention to the reception staff especially Nicollette [ DOT ] a credit to the company, very pleasant and helpful also Harold and Gloria in the dining room, always having a nice smile
All the staff remembered us from last year and were very helpful
we will certainly return again in the futureMore

we stayed at the Valentin Star from 15th to the 26th September 2015.there are only two floors to this adults only hotel. we stayed in room 267, this was away from the bars and reception and overlooking the pool. spotless clean, bedding and towels changed daily. staff were professional without being obsequious, always ready to offer assistance. there was probably the best pool staff we have encountered, there was no booking beds and a member of staff was on hand to remove items that were left unattended for long periods, not that you have to book sunbeds here, there were always beds available and in the sun. the restaurant was on two levels with tables outside and on the marina. food was acceptable without being stunning, always something different to eat, the cooks could look a bit more happier as if they actually enjoyed preparing the food though. the wine was extremely expensive, cheapest and not very nice was 22.5euros plus 2.50 euros for a bottle of water would have meant an extra 250 euros on 10night stay. the same wine could be had for 5euros at the nearby supermarket. the hotel is on a good position on the marina next to other restaurants and bars. there are plenty of buses to the old capital and two excellent beaches nearby. apart from the wine prices, we had a wonderful, relaxing holiday here, we will be returning and would highly recommend the Valentin Star.More
