Nice atmosphere

Just back from a week at this lovely hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is adults only and the majority of guests were over 50s. While we were there it seemed like mostly Brits staying there . The room we had was very nice and a big bonus point for us was that tea/coffee making facilities are in the room. Nice to have a cuppa in bed. A bottle of bubbly and two glasses appeared on our first evening. There is a mini fridge. The safe isn't very big so at first we didn't think we'd be able to for two iPads in it but with some clever manouvering we managed it. Pool towels are placed on sun beds each morning. You aren't supposed to reserve a sunbed but people do if course. A hotel employee stands and watches and as soon as someone reserves a sunbed and walks away he goes and puts a notice on there telling them not to. The person then comes back and hands the notice back to him so a pointless exercise really as it didn't deter anyone. Made for entertaining watching though. There are some nice little touches such as the basket of apples in the reception area that guests can help themselves to. The waiter bringing round complimentary snacks at mid day.. There is aquarobics twice a day when loud music disturbs the peace. Music playing us fine but the same set of songs is used every time so if you spend each day by the pool you will hear the same selection 14 times a week. By the end of our week there I was fed up with listening to "Its raining men" There is also a couple of water volley ball sessions each day. Evening entertainment was quite good. We've certainly come across worse. The food was mostly excellent and the evenings menu is displayed in the reception. Only one evening we didn't like the menu choices as it was oriental themed and there was no alternatives for those people who don't enjoy oriental food. We ate at the bar opposite the hotel that day. There are lots of eating places around the marina. Also a small shopping centre. There is a bookcase of used books in the corridor leading to the restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and cheerful and we feel we were well looked after. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return sometime..More

First Class Holiday

Our first stay at this hotel, but probably not our last. We were met by a smiling receptionist who give us both a bottle of chilled water while we checked in. Our ground floor room, looking out on to the pool, was spacious and spotlessly clean (and kept so by a friendly and efficient maid), in fact the entire hotel staff was probably the most friendly I have ever encountered. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of continental and hot cooked foods. At dinner there was a variety of dishes and although my wife is a 'fussy eater' she always found sufficient to eat. All in all an excellent hotel.More

Good Location

This hotel is in an excellent location in a lovely resort but problems with not being able to get a sun bed after 9 am and the buffet area being too small caused it to be a bit chaotic and queues formed regularly at show cook area. I didn't have any major problems with the food. Good entertainment but difficult to get a seat if you arrive after 9 pm as entertainment starts at 9.30 pm. The hotel needs to provide more sun beds, more seating at entertainment area and expand the buffet area. Larger rooms are all on ground floor and have sun beds but no view and a lot of road noise. Rooms facing pool and harbour are a lot smaller and don't have sun beds but better view.More

Nancy I,

Best hotel ever!

We stayed here for the first 2 weeks in June, we where amazed by the first class service, professionalism and cleanliness of this hotel. Food was varied and excellent quality, evening entertainment really enjoyable. Rooms perfect, the extra touches as an adults only hotel where perfect, classical music in the bathroom etc. Situated right at the marina with beautiful views excellent places to eat and lots of water sport activities, beautiful for an evening walk. Would definitely revisit this hotel!More

Grace R,

Brilliant hotel

Just returned today from this great hotel. We had a great time and made lovely friends we will stay in touch with. We stayed in room 263 which over looked the marina, big balcony that had great evening sunsets and nice sitting out with a drink. The staff are what makes this hotel they dont stop smiling from breakfast through the day with pool activities and then the evening meal. The maids we had was brilliant and our room was cleaned to the highest standard I hope the hotel management pass on our thanks. Of a evening there were always 2 acts one on the front stage by the marina and one on the main stage by the pool. My favourite by a mile was a singer/songwriter called James Kirby he was great so much so we saw him twice. We had a great holiday, in a perfect setting meeting some new friends. We will be returning one day soon.More
