Fabulous All Inclusive Week in October
Travelled with a friend as a last minute break with Thompson. This is an excellent hotel offering a quiet holiday. Not really suitable for families wanting kid friendly entertainment or a kids club. Food was very good, plenty of choice even for a picky eater like me. Lots of fresh fruit and salads. The meat tended to be on the tough side some days, but the choice was varied. Breakfast offered everything you could need, hot, cold and continental. The All Inclusive drinks choice was varied, but I have to say that the coffee was totally gruesome! If you like coffee take some with you. The room we had didn't have a pool view, but it was larger than the pool view rooms with a full balcony and lovely countryside views. The range of complimentary toiletries was amazing, sewing kit, disposable razor to boot. There was a huge to screen, probably 40" and a good choice of channels. Pool towels were supplied and even a beach bag too. We found the staff friendly, however some guests were quite rude, so you reap what you sow in my book. This was a really relaxing break, we were very lucky with the weather and spent time on the lovely small beach across the road and by the pool, which was quite cold, but lovely. There's a bus stop right outside the back of the hotel and plenty of safe walks along the coastline. Menorca isn't for those seeking nightlife and buzz, it's a beautiful peaceful island full of culture and beauty.More
Had a lovely four nights here at the end of October. I can perhaps see why some have slated this hotel in their reviews. Yes some staff seemed a bit offhand, however if you take the time to talk to them then you see a different side. We were at the hotel at a quiet time, indeed at the end of the season and I can understand how busy it must be for the staff. The food was plentiful, with lots of choice at each meal. There were different choices each day we were there - despite the fact that there were very few customers as it was the end of the season. Inclusive drink choices were good, probably better than we've found at other hotels. Local beach was lovely but small as were most of the beaches around the island. October is not such a good time for families to visit as most of the attractions had shut down. However lovely restful place to visit at this time. Weather was still good too. More
Relaxing late break
We spent a week at the Mediterrani last week of October, it's a lovely clean modern hotel, staff were friendly, food was lovely, something for everyone, room service every day and everything in your room you need including all toiletries, beach towels and beach bag, lovely beach across the road. It's a beautiful island and although it was end of season , and many places shut we had a very nice chilled out week, don't really know wot the moaners expect . Thank you Mediterrani staffMore
Me and my boyfriend booked a late holiday here, we are both early 20's Hotel was brilliant clean and friendly, food was brilliant as all inclusive you can enjoy breakfast, late breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and midnight snack. Although the puddings weren't great and the tea/ coffee machine and juice machine are complicated and need updating. We went in October so we new we were risking it with the weather however it was beautiful only unfortunate thing was as we expected pool was freezing cold and you couldn't stay in it to long. The activity staff were brilliant Hester was friendly and he loads of good activities. hotel was in a nice location not loads going on but beautiful and easy â¬1.65 bus journey into other areas. Booked with Thomson which would deffo do again as they offered loads of tours. One being Love minorca wich was brilliant. All in all would recommend the hotel, for family's and couples but not if your coming out to party More
