Good but not the best hotel
Hotel rooms were clean, pretty modern style. Food was tasty, evening entertainment was great, swimming pool was small. Beach beautiful! Staff very very friendly, restaurant just awesome! Waiters very helpful. We've got pool view so not much pretty. Internet was working so slowly. A lot of older people. More
Stayed at the hotel 2nd July - 9th July 2016. Booked to go again 8th July - 15th July 2017. Such an amazing hotel, beautiful views across a wonderful bay. Hotel food is top quality with Antonio serving its a joy. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and you can see they work so hard, all the staff from reception to cleaners to waiters and waitresses to entertainment deserve a pay rise. Kind Regards, Jordan. More
Hotel staff and amenities were great but location at the top of a very steep hill was quite a challenge. When we did eventually walk down, we were confronted by a lot of steps down to the beach. Unfortunately, the area was beautiful but the local restaurants or bars were few and far between. Luckily the food and entertainment at the hotel were excellent.More
FROM GOOD TO BAD
THIS hotel was a adult only hotel, we booked the holiday because it said in the brochure that it did not close until the 31st of october. So we booked it for the 1/10/2016 to 15/10/16. After experiencing late holidays with another holiday firm. The flight to menorca was excellent, with the exception that my wife and myself had to sit separately because i required an aisle seat because according to the stewardess the aisle seat and the seat next to it had to be kept so that it did not separate families .but we could have the aisle & window seat. We were ushered through Menorca airport very quickly which was excellent. Once through baggage we were taken to our private transfer taxi . At the hotel the check in was very good, we were then taken to our room by a maintainanceceman who took our cases to the room. We then found that the room had a Jacuzzi bath which had a shower in the bath which was a little high for me to get in for a shower. Meal on the first week were excellent the dining room staff were great both weeks. the second week this was spoilt as the meal went down, the majority of the hot meals were cold and nothing to tell you what it was. We then found out that the hotel was closing early on the 15th instead of the 31st. There was no al la carte restaurants if you wanted an al la carte meal you had to order it in the main restaurant and pay for it even though we were all inclusive. The pool throughout the whole holiday was freezing & no one went in. The pool staff were very good with service, the Thomson staff did ther best with what they had. Evening entertainment was excellent the Thomson team were fantastic always busy just a little below RIU HOTEL entertainers. The contracted entertainers were some of the best we have seen. The road up to the hotel was very steep and in need of repair which made it difficult for me as I am mobility impaired & the paths very high. On the last day every thing went form bad to worse being all inclusive we were not told until after lunch that all refreshments had to be paid for including water, tea ,coffee, and any alcohol . Our private transfer was booked for1650 but did not arrive until 1715, If it had not been for the rep Anastacia I think we would have been forgotten as she was on the phone to the firm every 5 minutes reminding them that they were late. My advice to anyone if you book an all inclusive holiday make sure it covers the last day.More
