There’s Thomson Gold entertainment every night at this hotel, though you’re just a short walk from the bars and restaurants.
This place is on a hill, looking out over the sandy bay. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the bars and restaurants. And it’s no further to the beach, yet the hotel runs a courtesy bus there.
There’s a good-sized pool with a roomy sun terrace. For meals, there’s a buffet restaurant, and you also get a choice of bars. As for entertainment, you can see professional acts, cabaret and live music by the pool.

I booked this resort through Thomson as a surprise honeymoon and was overwhelmed by the hotel and facilities. The staff, food, drink, pool and guests made this an amazing honeymoon for us and I will definately be back in the future. One small issue, we made friends with another couple from Northern Ireland in their 70's and the husband was wheelchair bound, the hotel has not been built for this and needs to look at this too suit disabled people.More
Not for us
We were looking for a relaxing good value break, and due to the trip advisor reviews thought this might be ok, we were wrong!! Firstly let me say that the only good thing about this hotel is the staff, they really do work hard and can not fault them one bit however that is about it! 1. the food - not good, like a school canteen, same food at lunch and dinner, and before people start I am not a fussy eater but this is seriously bad! I noticed you hardly evey saw the reps or entertainment staff eat in there! 2. Sunbed wars - what a joke every morning people saving sunbeds and there were plenty to go around! then the people who had there towels moved being rude to the worker who moved it, how sad, he was only doing his job. 3. silly things like having a bbq and you have to pay for it???!?!? that is not all inclusive, times for food, having to rush around from the pool so you get to the awful dinner in time (we ended up eating out on the second week as it was that bad). Could go on and on but seriously if you are looking at this because you think it is a good deal and the reviews are not to bad please think again, I wish we had, we had the worst holiday ever. Go to Menorca, the island is lovely however avoid this hotel at all costs - go self catering the bars and resturants are cheap and you will have a much better time!More

A mixed experience
We stayed at this Thomson Gold hotel 8-15 October. A mixed experience to say the least. Like a previous reviewer we were disappointed that the hotel was getting ready for the end of season closure whilst we there. According to the brochure the hotel was available until the end of October, but we discovered during our stay it would close mid month - actually on the day of our departure. The pool bar shut and much of the poolside furniture was cleared away a few days beforehand. Prior to this there was no sign of the Balinese style four poster beds as shown in the brochure. In fact the pool area as a whole did not reflect the brochure picture. The evening entertainment was very hit and miss, but there were no real options outside the hotel as it is a very quiet resort. The safe rental seemed expensive at 4 euros per day. The food was average and more like 3 star than 4 star. On the upside, the hotel staff were great and extremely hard working. The Thomson reps were fine, however, there was no sign of them to see us off on the day of departure when they had said they would be present on the previous evening. The hotel was very clean throughout and the bedroom, balcony and en-suite bathroom were fine. The resort itself is very pretty, if quiet, and the hotel offers smashing views over the bay.More

Good but not great!!
I had a weeks holiday at this hotel in June 2014 it was nice and warm out there. The hotel was lovely just a shame that its full of oap's who battle for sun beds I burn so its not a problem for me but its funny to watch the hotel is always clean and tidy and the food was fantastic plenty of choice the only downfall was the alcohol its like drinking paint stripper so only ask for a small measure but its situated in a brilliant place being in a bay that has bars and restaurants so all in all not too bad I wouldn't return.More

Had a lovely 2 week break here in Menorca. The age groups were very mixed, and mostly couples so as siblings we felt a bit "out of it" and didn't make any friends. All the guests were from the UK and there seemed to be very few visitors from the south, so again we were in a minority, and perhaps younger than average. But we had a lovely time at this hotel: the buffet was great (albeit a bit limited in choice after 2 weeks) catering for all tastes; the entertainment was good, although not always to our taste and a little too much soul music, not that I don't love it but I would have preferred a bit more of a mixture of musical styles. Most of the staff were lovely and the on site reps did everything they could to ensure we had a good time and plenty to do. Menorca is a small island, and as there are limited things to do in this small resort the day trips are a must. We went to Cuitadella and I will certainly return there, it was absolutely beautiful and half a day wasn't long enough. Mahon is interesting, as was the night market (local goods and lovely food and drink), and the mountain convent. I loved the island, it was everything I thought it would be and I will return and probably hire a car next time. But I wouldn't go back to this particular hotel again unless I was with a partner.More
