Great hotel, friendly staff, limited resort
The hotel had recently been refurbished. We travelled in May so the pools were fresh and the hotel pretty quiet. The staff had time for everyone and the pool and restaurant were just great. Not sure how it will be in high season. The resort is just hotels and copycat German and English restaurants so choice is limited. Hire a car online before going to explore the island, well with it. Hotel facilities are just great, the entertainment was not to my taste but each to their own. More
Just returned back from the protur sa coma playa today after a week holiday this our opinion of this hotel and rooms were clean and spacious but he air conditioning was insufficent even with this set at the minimum 16degrees but he still remained stuffy. The food was resonable but not 4* in our opinion and not very hot unless it was from the show cooking area and copius amounts of garlic in everthing. Snacks at the pool bar were good value and the grounds and pool area were good although the pool temp was very cold. The good beach and promenade was approx 10 min walk away In our opinion this was a reasonable hotel which needed a few tweaks to become a good one . More
Another Brilliant Week at the Sa Coma Playa Hotel and Spa
We have just returned from another week there. Our third time in three years. As before Chej and his staff were so welcoming to us. The hotel remains a wonderful place to stay, with the food and service being of such excellent quality we wouldn't wish to stay anywhere else. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are always helpful. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have an excellent stay on the wonderful island of Majorca. Many thanks again to Chej, Juan and all the staff. We have just booked to return in October for another week.More

Wonderful hotel with great staff
We stayed at the Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel & Spa from 6th May to 20th May 2015 and thought I'd let people know how great the place is. The reception staff were on the ball when we arrived and helped us through the check-in procedure, we were issued with our room card and a payment card which we could use instead of cash, brilliant idea! Our room, which was a deluxe room was on the opposite side of the ground floor to where the pool is, this meant we had peace and quiet and plenty of space on our decking area to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The hotel is just fantastic with wonderful staff who engage with you and make you feel welcome every time you ask for something from them. The restaurants in the hotel are run efficiently by really well trained staff who care about their role and the food is wonderful, loads of choice and really tasty. We were on our own for the first seven days and joined by our son and his family for the final seven days of our holiday. The reception given to us when we arrived with our two grandchildren was one of respect and admiration, the kids were made to feel special and this made our holiday so memorable. The hotel is part of a large chain of hotels and in Sa Coma it sits at the centre of a three hotel group, the Safari is where families are best suited as this is geared up for children and parents whilst the third one, the Biotherm Hotel is designed for guests who like that little bit more luxury and style. We were given two free vouchers for the Biotherm Spa which my wife swiped right away, the spa is awesome and worth a visit when you are here. That's about all I want to say right now but I will update this post as and when I have more time. Kenny Hunter Bearsden GlasgowMore

This was our first time in a Protur hotel and first time in sa Coma. Booked both as somewhere to celebrate my 50th (sorry, 40th with 10 years experience!!) From the minute we walked through the door we knew we had picked well. It is always good to start with a warm smiley welcome; having someone carry your bags was over and above!! The hotel is immaculately clean, rooms spacious and well equipped with the usual tea and coffee facilities. Beds were large and comfortable. (perhaps too many blankets for 30' C).The free mini bar was a bonus. The bathroom was again very clean with an amazing walk-in shower - a delight after a long hard day on the beach!! It is now something my wife now assures me we need at home! We always book all inclusive and usually come away thinking the food is "ok, at least we didn't go hungry" but the selection here was fantastic. Over the 8 days we stayed I don't think I had the same thing twice. None of last nights dinner being recycled for today's lunch. Alongside the amazing buffet items, there was one of the chefs out front cooking really fresh fish, steaks, chicken etc. The evening entertainment is always a bit hit and miss as can only be expected. The usual tribute act, solo entertainer and the "well, I fancied an early night" (Reuben stood out as a great nights fun.) Finally a mention to all the staff. From the housekeepers, waiter/waitresses, bar staff up to the reception team and managers. Everyone was always cheerful with a smiley "hola" at any time of day. As the manager, who made a point of coming out to say goodbye as we were waiting for our bus, said, without great staff a hotel is just a building.! Over all, really enjoyed our time here. Would we come back? Tomorrow if we didn't have to go back to work!!!More
