Happy holiday

Most impressed with Chej Ramdan the hotel manager who is very charming as well as professional. I had issues with Thomson on my booking prior to arriving at the hotel. However, once emailing Chej he was able to put my mind at rest, and sorted out my concerns immediately with no problems before we arrived for our holiday. The hotel is lovely even in pre season all staff are very kind especially two very pleasant waiters in the main restaurant who work extremely hard. The ladies who clean the rooms are happy to offer extra towels or a mattress topper what ever you want they try to please. Who ever visits this hotel will not be disappointed we had a very happy holiday. More

Tessalouzou1,

Excellent hotel

Hotel was excellent, exceptionally clean. Variety of food on the all inclusive deals was excellent, staff very friendly and always on hand if you needed drinks or assistance. So much choice it would suit anyone's needs. Breakfast was great and once again food was very varied, also the all inclusive lunches were as good as the evening meals. Dress code says men must wear trousers for the evening meals but I did see quite a few gents wearing shorts, so not sure how strict this rule is. All inclusive mini fridge in your room is beer, soft drinks and crisps, if you drink the miniatures then you will be charged. You can walk along to Cala Millor and it is roughly 30 minutes at a nice leisurely pace, we were going to get the bus back but we missed it so we got a taxi, the taxi only cost 5.40 back to Sa Coma where the bus would have cost us 7.40 for the 4 of us. Bike hire is great, 10 Euro deposit from the clubhouse follow the red cycle route and you have a great safe ride. Would highly recommend the Thermal hydrotherapy offer in the protur biomar hotel, offer was 10.00 euro's plus 1 euro for the fliflops plus another 2 for the caps you have to have, so 26.00 euro's for two of you and it really is value. Staff in the bar are excellent even when it was busy they still served you really quickly, quite a few of the drinks are branded names. There were about 5 or 6 cocktails on the all inclusive list as well. On the all inclusive if you wanted a drink that wasn't on the all inclusive list then you paid half price. On the ice cream or lolly front there were only about 6 for all inclusive but that was enough. We would all definitely go back, really was a great holiday. We couldn't fault this place at all, staff are excellent food was superb and drinks were plentiful all in all a great place to have a holiday.More

Amazing hotel, Just perfect

On arrival at the hotel myself and my 14 year old daughter were seen straight away by friendly reception staff, who explained everything about the hotel making us feel welcome straight away. the hotel itself you could see by the lovely reception area was spotless, fresh and lovely décor. The rooms we stayed in were twin, very modern, clean, excellent tea coffee facilities and on the all inclusive package the drinks in the mini bar were all free, not just water but coke, beer, Fanta lemon, orange 2 still and sparking water and crisps, thought that was a lovely touch. We had a balcony overlooking the pool really pretty view, the bathroom had nice towels and a great shower. The food in the hotel on A/I was delicious a great selection for every meal, salads steaks, chicken, fish all cooked fresh on the hot plate, loads of vegetables we never got bored with the food it was yummy, we did not even eat out which we always do as there was no need, I used to really look forward to food time. Also the staff in the restaurant we soooo efficient they sat you down and then they were straight over offering you a drink, when you had finished your plate was gone, great staff, and the gentleman on the restaurant door was always there with a welcome smile. The staff in the bar and around the pool were so friendly and helpful especially Paco nothing was too much trouble, service was spot on very quick you never waited. Another nice touch for A/I was free ice creams and lollies all day long, you just helped yourself great for kids. other places you only get ices at certain times, not here from around 10ish to 6ish great idea. there were two pools and adult only and a children's pool, not heated so a little chilly but kids will still use it, may get a little busy in summer I would imagine may need more sunbeds, also you are not allowed to reserve sunbeds till 9am, good idea as there are plenty of Germans there ha. (who by the way were so lovely and really friendly). Night time entertainment was so well thought out and quite a few nights outstanding best I have seen abroad, Ruben was superb a fab entertainer and there was a comedy act clown, hilarious, first time we have ever looked forward to the night time entertainment, something for everyone, kids and adults. Marco did a great job on his own, entertaining us all day and evening with games around the pool ect, you could also use the facilities in the Protur Safari hotel too many to mention, great climbing wall and shooting, lovely guy Marco always smiling. This hotel has such a nice vibe about it everyone there said the same thing, it has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in for all the above reasons, it does feel like 5* not sure why its not, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, can't praise it enough, great for families, couples, as the beach is a short walk away too, I really mean a short walk, it is such a beautiful place Sa Coma the sea is clear blue. This is one holiday and one hotel I could have stayed in another week happily, Well done and keep up the excellent work loved it, will be back defiantly Thank you for looking after us so well.More

Surprising Super Fantasico Stay

I booked a last minute (half board) week's break with a friend just to chill out. I always tend to go self-catering but booked this hotel as it had the spa which was a big draw for this holiday. The hotel/grounds and pool areas were spotless, very clean and the rooms are bigger than many self-catering apartments I have stayed on the island. We had a standard room with a huge walk in shower which was more than sufficient for purpose: no shortage of pressure or hot water! The staff are very friendly and work so hard, always with a smile on their faces and were very gracious when I wanted to practice my beginners Spanish although they speak good English/German/French too! We found the main guests here were German (lots of tennis players/teams), Brits and Spanish, with mid-age couples/families making up most ofthe mix. There is an indoor pool and spa for the hotel guests here but you can also use the Biomar spa at the sister hotel next door. We both booked a full day of (very good) treatments and it came to about 170 euros each which was very reasonable. We also tried the steam rooms, saunas and hydrotherapy rooms as well and had a very pampered day! The food is very good and varied so something for everyone. Once or twice the odd thing may not be as hot as you would like but that is certainly not the norm at all and perhaps to be expected from time to time when dealing with so many people but this has not detracted from the overall quality. We are on a half board basis so you just buy your drinks/food etc at lunchtime/ dinnertime but to be honest, we were so full from the breakfasts we rarely ate at during the day knowing there would be plenty of food available at dinner! We had no problem with the standard of the drinks overall. You can also swop meals when on half board so you can say, have lunch one day and go out for dinner, which is a good idea. As it is the beginning it the season not all activities (eg water park/mini golf) are open yet but that has not bothered us too much but I would definately try those though next time. There really is something for everyone whether you just want a quiet chill out week away or be much more active and use more of the facilities whether as a couple or a family. The "super fantastico" entertainment is on for an hour each evening and they were all enjoyable if sometimes a bit cheesy! Some were better than others but overall I guess it's all a matter of personal taste and its complimentary so you're not obligated to watch it if it's not for you! Wifi can be a bit slow at times but we're on holiday, so not fussed about that! The nearby beach is beautiful and you can cycle or walk to nearby villages via a coastal path or get the bus or cabs of you prefer so you don't have to stay at the hotel during the day. We did try a couple of places in the village itself for drinks and I don't know if some are closed as its early in the season or whether they have closed for good which is a shame if so, but the village is dominated by larger hotels. I admit I here with some hesitant and perhaps preconceived ideas about large hotels but certainly for this hotel they were unfounded. We have had a really lovely week here (this is our last day) and both of us have said we will return with our spouses/families and am so glad we booked this place.More
