Staff where very friendly. Room was clean every day too. hotel is situated in a fantastic location, close to buses and the town. I will definitely would go back to this hotel. swimming pool was quite small. but was'nt a problem as you had the stunning beach opposite. the hotel. Entertainment every night some was not so good, but most of the Entertainment was very good. recommend having a sea view room view where stunning. More

Back for our second holiday at the hotel. Perfect for cycling with great facilities - garage, locks, tools and a washing machine, excellent food but what really makes the hotel is the staff, friendly professional and very hardworking. Hope to return next year. More

A lovely quiet week.
My husband and I have just returned from a superb week at this lovely little hotel. What a friendly place this is. The hotel is a little dated, but the location and views far outweigh this. We stayed in a Sea-view room on level 3 with a balcony. The room was of ample size and immaculately clean. Maid service every day. Our only complaint with regard to the room was the Shower-curtain... It is almost impossible to take a shower without the shower curtain wrapping itself around you. A small detail, but a big annoyance. A shower screen would make a massive difference. As for the rest of the hotel, almost faultless. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was substantial with a good choice, but the evening meal was a little disappointing. Maybe B & B would be our choice at this hotel on our next stay, as we will most definitely be returning to the Pollentia Hotel.More
Just thought I would add more to my review from Oct 2014. I like this place and the hotel so much, I re-booked last Nov!!! I was worried about the weather before we left , they had a really bad storm the night before we arrived, but that's the way it is if you book late in the year, you cannot order the weather.. It was 20c plus and usually 25c during our stay. The hotel is just as I remember it but we booked a balcony sea view (its a MUST (Room 409 IIRC quarto sientos nueve(if that's how you spell it... ;)
What I can tell you is that all the staff are absolutely first class and do everything to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are a bit small, but that's how the hotel was built a long time ago.
If you are not the type to quibble and just enjoy the FANTASTC view from the Hotel this is a great place to go. The fact we met many people whom we first encountered last year tells you that many others do as we do and come back again and again.
I am going to book again for 2016 without a doubt.
MY only quibble (and its a smallish detail)is that the food is not always as hot as one might wish if dining later on. The variety of the food is such that you would be hard pressed not to find something to your liking.
Overall score 95/10 half a point docked for the evening etertainment which wasn't always up to scratch.. (but the Spanish guitarist is NOT to be missed
Thanks again to all the staff at this Hotel.. see you next year!More
