From the front steps of the Hotel Pollentia, you can take in the Bay of Pollensa, where white sands gives way to the Balearic Sea. Expand your line of vision and you’ll see the masts of the yachts in Port de Pollensa marina, a kilometre along the coast, and the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range in the distance.
The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the main square in Puerto Pollensa, which is orbited by almost 100 cafés, bars and restaurants. It’s about the same distance to The Pine Walk, a promenade where locals stroll in the evenings. There are a number of bus stops a few metres from the hotel and there’s a bus timetable in reception, where you can check your routes.
Behind the hotel’s whitewashed walls there are 70 bedrooms, spread over several floors. The décor in the rooms is typically Spanish, with tiled floors and dark-wood furniture, while blue bedspreads and velvet bucket chairs add splashes of colour.
Outside, you'll find a swimming pool. It's set in a sunny terrace, and edged by smart navy-blue loungers and ivory umbrellas. There's a paddling pool for children, too.
Expect international cuisine in the buffet restaurant. It's got a terrace area, where the tables look out over the sea. The hotel bar also has a sea-view terrace, with comfy wicker chairs, and it puts on regular evening entertainment.

Nice but Dated
I stayed here as part of a business trip covering Majorca and Menorca. The hotel was pleasant enough and the staff were polite and attentive and spoke English. The views outside into the bay were fabulous with a lovely beach just across the road. Ideal I would think for a family holiday. The only food we had which was included in the price was the breakfast which was buffet style and had everything you could want in a cooked breakfast and kept nicely hot. There was nice comfy chairs in the bar to relax with a drink after a days work. The only downside was the rooms which were extremely dated the furniture was old dark wood making the rooms dark and a bit dingy. I didn't really have a view which was OK for me as I was on business. Had I been on Holiday I would not have been too happy.More

Just across the road from a lovely sandy beach and warm sea. The hotel has tremendous views and attractive front gardens where evening entertainments are held - flamenco dancing, guitarists etc, most enjoyable. Modest swimming pool but hardly needed. Good location - 15 minutes walk along the front to Port de Pollenca or use the bus which stops outside. Clean rooms with television and safe but no bedroom tea/coffee-making facilities. Breakfasts and evening meals on the buffet system with plenty of choice and flexible meal timings. Evening dinners of four courses although with so much choice and no restrictions many customers enjoy more. Thoroughly recommended.More

Location Location Location
This Hotel gains 1 star just by its very location. We had a sea view balcony and the view was just amazing. Room wise they are nothing special, indeed lacking tea making facilities and a fridge. Cleaners always did a great job and were exceptionally friendly. Food was always well prepared and quite varied, the Chef himself often on hand for a little banter. Staff in general were polite and friendly. The communal areas such as the terrace were very nice.More

Great stay at the Hoposa Pollentia
29thSept-6thOct Room212 Location was great, beach just across the road, bus stops close by. We were B/B but we did eat in the hotel on two evenings. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and our evening meals were great. All the staff were excellent, hotel is very clean, room furniture at the end of it's life but we believe the hotel is being refurbished at the end of the season.More

Just returned from a week in Hotel Pollentia with my elderly mother and mother-in-law. The location was perfect for our needs with the beach just across the road from the hotel and shops and restaurants close by. The staff and food were excellent. The rooms are a little dated but were very clean and well maintained. Overall I would throughly recommend this Hotel and plan to return in the near future.More
